Hi
I'd really appreciate you help. I'm looking for a laptop for video editing and trying to find one with everything on my husbands wish list is proving to be a real headache. . Budget around £1,000. I have considered the TUF and the ROG but can't seem to see if they have card readers.
15.6 in screen
IPS or OLED
16gb 1TB - upgradeable
Intel core i5 or i7
11th or 12th gen processor would be fine with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050/3060 graphics
8-10 cores
12 threads
Dedicated graphics card
processor speed areound 4ghz
SSD hard disk
Card reader
Thunderbolt (at least 2)
Around a 10hr battery
Black backlit keyboard
I know I've listed quite alot here but any suggestions would be really really appreciated. It's a minefield out there even when you know what you're looking.
I've considered Lenovo but there seems to be issues with the hinges becoming faulty on some models which I also had an issue with on my plastic bodied HP but wouldn't completely rule out a Lenovo. Also would consider MSI although I don't anything about the company in terms of their product build quality and after sales CS etc. My husband currently has an ASUS with no issues but only an 8gb which can't be upgraded.

By the way, I think you should look at laptop with SRGB 100% instead...

Remove Windows OS to save £100+. You download it from MS and buy a cheap windows key somewhere else.
No idea about those Thunderbolt... (edited)
Not the best fit by any means but not bad
