Getting rid of sky options

Posted 23rd Sep 2023 (Posted 17 h, 11 m ago)
Hi all.
I'm switching to a cable internet setup, and want to get rid of our sky satellite, which I only now use for freesat with our Humax recorder.
Can someone tell me what options there are to watch all the free cable channels and record them over the internet?
Cheers folks

It’s worth noting that Freeview over internet wont be coming to YouView. The only way of streaming the free channels over that is if you have BT internet and TV subscription - paired with the latest TV Pro box.

The only model of Freeview recorder that will support the upcoming Freeview over internet standard currently is the Manhattan T4-R I believe.

Cex gets you a 2 year warranty though

The bt dtr-t2100 500gb is a great twin tuner hd youview box with netflix, amazon prime and the main streaming services
