Halfords women bikes recommendation

Hi, my wife has an old Apollo bike that she claims it is too heavy (I think it truly is) and looking for a replacement.
Halfords would the best choice considering we can get discounted gift cards but she is open to recommendations.
Ideally as lightweight (no front suspension is OK) as possible with a few speeds to choose from.
