everyone loves free stuff, great finding, op downloaded successfully (highfive)
This is great but they dont have it for Mac for free :(
The LE versions of Cyberlink products are severely crippled of many useful features, so treat it as a basic editing program.
Yea, I realised after I initially looked that your link and the one from Crossbow were different. I used yours but wanted to put the warning out there for the net-load.com one so unsuspecting visitors don’t use it. Thanks for posting.
I have linked it to an official Cyberlink site, here: https://www.cyberlink.com/stat/edms/Giveaway/GOTD/PHD7Deluxe/index.jsp. Therefore clicking on the "Visit site and get deal" link will take you to the official Cyberlink site. This is an official Cyberlink offering. Crossbow has added a link to net-load.com. If you don't like the net-load site, then use the "Visit site and get deal" link (which you should be doing anyway).
This was in response to Crossbow’s post with the net-load.com link. It appears as though the quote didn’t show up. ******* I was looking at the website this link points to and think the net-load.com site looks suspicious and too ambiguous for my tastes. It could be legit but neither the site nor its T&Cs look legit. It does not say who owns the site and is hidden behind domain privacy. I would advise people NOT to click the link you posted and, instead, use the link posted by the OP, which goes to the software developer’s website. If Cyberlink pulls the offer, they’re within their rights but better to be safe than sorry. I would also advise people to never download a piece of software from a direct URL such as this, especially if the URL does not specify the software developer’s genuine domain name. Not only does specifying a direct URL put people who may not have a clue about computer security at risk but it could also be a potential violation of the software developer’s EULA or rights.
Thanks DruidsNectar :)
Glad to hear it worked out ok for you in the end PineappleJ :D
Thanks nick, bought the ultra version and was able to quickly split a video i had been trying to do for ages - was fairly intuitive and i didnt encounter any issues or functionality messages so all good
Glad to help and as it's your first deal, you have a scorching one to boot too (y)
16 is out in the retail chain, although not hit consumers yet, so retailers are gearing up to clear stock. An announcement is expected any day, so this time next year, 15 will be in the bundles.
Hey PineappleJ First off I have to be honest and say I really don't know my way around the program yet, There's still a lot to take in. So far I've only removed some adverts from a video clip and thats about it. I did watched the video you linked to and copied the best I could what he was doing on screen, but didn't get any kind of pop up at the same point, and was able to play with the sliders ( even though I had no idea what I was trying to change ) Thankfully reddit seems to know a lot more about this than I do and has been good enough to wade in. Wish I could be more helpful PineappleJ.
I upgraded from PD11 to PD15 this year and it's a good program.
Yep I totally agree when the developer is offering it for free.
Wouldn't it be better to go to the developer's website if that's where the offer comes from?? https://www.cyberlink.com/stat/edms/english/2016/Q4/PHD_Survey/tks_download.html No need to go through third parties who like to try and hide where they got the offer from...
hmmm that is how sharewareonsale works lol For example, this isn't the official site for many freebies but most trust it. Are we only supposed to obtain offers etc from the manufacturer's or developer's sites? RIP offer sites
I'm not saying it isn't well established. I said it's not the official cyber link site.
sharewareonsale.com is a well established and respected site.
amazon price is $99 without discount. DISCOUNTED $58
Great Share Thanks
this isn't a laptop?
All the laptops come with limited resolution and format. Yet to see a 4k windows or Apple laptop.
NB. This is LE version, limited resolution and format
worth a try + more
They should really rename PowerDVD to Power Media Player
what's a dvd?
you can get a free library for that :)
10% with 10POFF
Thanks for the advice. Most times they offer free or cheap upgrades. These products are required as said above. Windows & Intel support for multimedia / blue ray is so crap. To think about 4k in a windows computer is like getting an elephant pass through a needle hole. So software solutions like this will always needed.
That's great. I missed the countdown thing unfortunately!
But no built in support for editing 360 / VR Video yet? Guess that will be in Power Director 15? I found that I didn't need a VPN - there is a countdown timer on the page below which in conjunction with the coupon mentioned by the op gives this price (this is cheaper than I could pay to upgrade my existing copy of Power Director 13 so is a pretty good deal) http://www.cyberlink.com/stat/events/enu/2015/Q4/PPC/PDR/video-editing-software/powerdirector-ultra/50-45P_72hr/uk/index.jsp?affid=2581_-1_286&mkwid=c&pcrid=80683569177&pkw=&pmt=&pdv=c&gclid=CNnC7KeWk8wCFTMo0wodwCUHAg NB When I posted this there was only 2 hours left for this offer to run. You can get Tunnelbear for free. Downloads on it are limited to 500mb I think which should be fine for this
You can get the same deal as a straightforward transaction for £47 if you don't want to mess about installing and subscribing to Tunnelbear which has a $6.99 monthly fee.
I know, check the differences between them. - And i said i wish i'd went for that instead of the upgrade
This deal is for the Ultimate not the Ultra (Currys deal) which is a cheaper product.
- no cyberlinks upgrade was £42 (41.70), when i bought it, then it was on sale ( on Alibaba?) boxed for £40 - and i never voted hot or cold or another one i wish i'd got https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cyberlink-powerdirector-14-ultra-currys-29-99-delivered-2331637
If you mean this one it was £46.74 and it was only the upgrade version direct from Cyberlink (it was £53.99 from Amazon at that time). Now its £79.99 from Amazon or £54.99 direct from Cyberlink for the full download version. This BT deal for a boxed one is therefore a good deal.
this was 40 a few weeks ago ( this or ultra)
Great find.... I already have Cyberlink Ultimate 13 and I am tempted at this price it's a bargain. This as an opportunity to get the latest edition cheap. This software is worth a lot more. I would recommend anyone who is either tempted or new to video editing that this is a great bit of software to have. If you are using either Pinnacle or Adobe Premiere (essentials) then this is much better, as I have both and I much prefer Cyberlink over them . It's quick to use and its straight to disc as easy as 1,2,3. Its fast to start and does everything you need to create great videos or slide-shows and with a great support network too.
well I've ordered it - no negative comments allowed now please :)
Upgrade from ultra 13 to ultimate 14 is £54.99 Upgrade from ultra 13 to ultra 14 is £49.99 As per Cyberlink site.
This is Ultra, The upgrade was for 40 was for ultimate from what i seen.
My most used video editor (footage from my Sony A5100 camera), tried all the rest and this is the most reliable and easily the quickest (though I love the time-line on Sony Vegas but it's still too slow to render).
It's only £53.99 for the full version from Amazon.
It's £63.74 if you are upgrading from anything V10 and below.
I've tried using a few programs for video edits and PD is the one I have settled on. it just seems to work really well.
Fair comment. Seems , like a good discount.
