Hi everyone, I've been a member for quite some time, love hotukdeals and this I think maybe my first discussion.
Anyway, I am thinking of purchasing a gaming laptop for use with a meta quest 2. Think it needs to be high spec to run games like half life altx, with a usb c port been told.
Been looking at a Lenovo Legion 5 with a gtx 3060 or 3070 card. Or an Asus Tuf f15 with similar specs.
Will this be ok, and do you think it is worth waiting until newer updated laptops with 4 series cards release in April. I hope that prices will drop with people upgrading.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

sorted byId spring for 32gb of RAM, because I can see required specs for Half Life AltX say 12gb min.
other than that, they seem good contenders.
the effects of heat, in a laptop unit - thats always worth checking up on in any reviews/writeups.
