When they're great, they're great, when they're not, well....let's just say I refuse to shop with them (very bad experience years ago and I used them regularly prior to that). Then there's the refusing RMAs situation (no idea if they still do this, though).

Maybe the new owners will change my opinion of them. (edited)

I haven't bought from them for a while for the same reason and a friend has recently had a terrible time trying to get an order sorted where the item was damaged in transit, it took months for a refund.

Eubyer and Yodel are a match made in hell.

What with Yodel being useless and Ebuyers lack of customer service i think the new owners have quite a bit of work to do.

There must be alot of customers who have been put off ordering from them from previous experiences.

Fond memories of eBuyer as I bought the parts for my first ever PC build from them back in the day.

Remember sitting on the floor in my living room with everything spread around me and piecing it all together bit by bit while listening to Mark and Lard on Radio 1.

Haha literally did the same. Back in the day the prices were so good. Similar or better to Dabs.com and if you selected the saver delivery sometimes you saved and got it within a day!

Hateful company - I too have been burnt by their RMA process and of course they no longer deliver to parts of the UK.
I don;t understand why there is so much love for them on this site....

Rationally: love usually occurs when the majority of the merchant's customers have no issues and believe they have secured decent deals.
    It's a simple concept,
as is the irrationality of believing a personal poor experience is the norm, when the greater dataset indicates it isn't.

I wonder if they will fix their pretty crap customer service, they're a great place to buy from right up until you need after sales support.

I do price comparison against ebuyer but always end up buying elsewhere. Not surprised that they are expanding into EU who have worst deals on stuff like electronics compared to UK. This is the way.
