Sound People, help with last gen Soundbar//system recomendations

Intrested in upgrading from TV speakers to sound system.
What for?
Not a massive movie watcher to be honest mainly youtube video's and netflix on my smart TV and some music.
Type
TV is mounted on wall and have empty big chest drawers so got room for a big soundbar, I have room on the left handside on floor for a sub? and then in the oppostie side of room next sofa have room also for a sub or whatever?
Preferable just a soundbar on its own, will a sub help in my what for that much?
How much?
No budget persay I personally not sure I will notice much to warrant going for the top g samsung £1300 thing, so doing the hotukdeals peeps thing and wanting a bargain, what last gen soundbar was expensive but now worth buying on ebays/facebook second hand?

Just wait for some sale when you can grab it for around £500.
We have an arc and ray and both great quality.
