my pleasure, my fav show as well

One of my all-time favourite shows. Thanks for this @Yakman

I was under the impression the Netflix version is not HDR version.

5Rivers79

Yes hdr isn’t linked to resolution so a hdr version streamed will be better than a sdr 1080 version on disc. Hdr brings out film grain hence the reason it is more grainy. Seeing grain means you see more detail. Removing grain by applying DNR removes detail and the end result is waxy textures as we find in the 4K transfer of Terminator 2.

HDR isn't linked to resolution. Also have you watched the BB on Netflix it's grainy not very well done.

I picked up a Complete Blu-Ray Boxset at a Car Boot Sale for £2 a couple of years ago. It had the Digital Code insert in the box and it worked! Best bargain ever.

IMHO one of THE BEST TV shows of ALL time. Killer music soundtrack too!!

I loved it, probably my favourite series - and I think part of the reason is because I was watching the episodes as they were being released and the anticipation/hype around the time was intense.. Perhaps because it is a bit slow and drawn out at times, it isn't suited to modern day bingeing and is getting some negative reactions.

Never seen it any good

i finished watching this a few weeks back. personally dont think it lived up to the hype. i recently finsihed watching the spin off, Better Call Saul, enjoyed that as he was one of my fave characters.it also shows a lot of the background to how the OGs in Breaking Bad came to be where they are.

Slightly different UK round our way. Episode 1 Repeatedly calls the GP surgery but can't get through Episode 2 After days of calling finally manages to get an appointment, it's for 3 weeks time and is a telephone appointment with the nurse practitioner. Episode 3 He gets an appointment for treatment but joins the back of the queue of 5m people. Episodes 4 onwards While waiting for treatment he becomes a drug dealer and gets private treatment the next day.

yorkshiretightass

I can't wait for the UK version! Episode 1 After intensely clapping every Thursday for 12 long months, the protagonist suspects something is not right with himself. He goes to the doctor's who refer him to the hospital. They run some checks and diagnose it's cancer. After discussing the initial treatment plan, he goes home to tell his family. Episodes 2-5 Treatment is carried out. Episode 6, series finale Treatment was a success. He resumes the ritual clapping. Breaking Bad, from a different prescriptive, really shows how insane the US health care system is... Good deal for a TV show if you enjoy getting frustrated at the absurdity of it all.

Thats a great offer. I wonder if the blu-rays look considerably better? I only recently got into breaking bad after a friend lent me a DVD box set, but enjoyed so much I really want to buy a set for myself lol.

I made the mistake selling the Google codes with the blu ray box set I got for £12 out of HMV couple years ago seemed like a good idea at the time. Rediculus how much apple and iTunes want for the complete series.

nmac29

You could watch breaking bad on amazon prime, but at an additional cost, to your prime membership cost. So Netflix is still makes more sense from a cash flow perspective, but depends how quick you'd watch all of the series, to get your monies worth!

To expensive to watch in best quality UHD £13.99 a month and not much else new worth watching on there subscribed last month after 6 month break and found I was rewatching breaking bad for about the 5th time as nothing else interest me. Amazon prime much better Value with so many decent films
