The American reviews looked ok it's worth checking out if it's rubbish I'll send it back no harm done
Amazon reviews are not great (skeptical)
im concerned why they have so many used ones ok reading reviews some had German plugs on? some have leaks ( 2 out of 3) and some got delivered damaged , item faulty and dangerous 8 listed as USED :o BE WARNED! cold from me sorry
oos maybe? None coming up at that price for me
Ordered and will just send back if its wrecked.
The guy in that review saying the fan on silent mode isn't silent is talking rubbish. I have this fan and on silent you wouldn't think you have anything on, even had other people mention the same thing about it.
This is not a product that is made or you can really get in the UK, There's about 350 on each of the IT, DE and FR sites. Why not take a look at them? If you want some facts then here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH6JEXKHhQc, sure they are trying to sell you the fan but there's facts in there and actual tests rather than a single disgruntled customer that is probably looking for money off..7mph isn't what that reciew is explaining.
I posted 25% of the total reviews on Amazon.co.uk for this product lol
The thing I don't understand is that you've posted 1 review which was probably amongst hundreds of positive ones, every single thing in the world will have some bad reviews. People will always have something to moan about, most people only review when they've had a bad experience. The fact is this is the quietest fan of its kind and even at the most powerful setting it is still quieter than a cheap fan on it's lowest. You are taking a single review as fact, if that's how your brain works then everything must be garbage.
I haven't complained at all - I just posted some factual reviews showing another side to what was being presented - if you've got a problem with that, then that's your problem. People need to have both sides before spending their hard earned money and making a purchase. It's sad and worrying that people on this site get so defensive and attack anyone who tries to show any facts or remarks they don't agree with. The priority should be about the pros and cons of the product being sold and if it's actually a good deal or not, not about getting as much heat as you can. Regarding the Dyson fans. I've owned lots of them and yes they're all garbage. Even the £20 Honeywell fan posted in the Amazon deal the other day is quieter than all the Dyson fans I've owned.
This steamer is very good while it's working. I had changed 2 in 4 years time. It was bought from Lakeland so it had 3 year guarantee . It works magic on almost all kind of material.
Why is this listed as a tesco direct deal ? It's no good to most, but a tesco direct deal is available to all.
Cheers op. Great iron and a good price. Well pleased with it.
I'll get my coat ;)
do u wanna ring the bad joke taxi or should I :p
Was this on the x factor a few years back?
I've had this iron for 2 years and with 3 kids and a hubby there's a LOT of ironing - it is the best iron I've had Easy to use and wonderful steam capacity/water tank I would only buy something I considered really good for my Mum! So as a user of this item - I can only highly recommend it! Methinks those that want you to cancel the order want it for themselves ; )
100% now claimed. Please expire
Needed a replacement. I am suspicious of such reductions as there is usually a reason but it actually has good reviews.Ordered .Thanks The only real negative is that the lead is too short.
good deal thanks just got one
Heat, ordered one. Never been this cheap according to 3 camels, and looks good for 20 quid!
thanks for the updated prices!
thanks, currently have a Bosch sensixx and every time I turn it on on the evening I'm worried I'll wake all the kids up! but a great iron would love a silent one though.
EVERY household shod have a pressurised steam generator iron .... Mine is Tefal and 5bar - this is 6bar!!! Will BLAST Through your ironing .

The reviews say so and it does make tall claims. I have ordered mine, so, will post an update to let you know if it is true.
Now £149.99 at Lakeland and £150 at John Lewis
no problems- was actually wondering how much you got offered actually... thanks for keeping me posted!
Got the same price from Flubit. Thanks for that snorsehole! :)
Cheers snorsehole. That's a really good price that you have received. Let me try and get that as well. I keep forgetting about Flubit...
im looking for this exact model iron. i laugh at the ppl slagging this off... if i was in the market for a mercedes, i would care very little how cheap a comparative hyundai is. if there is a cheaper deal elsewhere then that should be the only thing being commented. bangmatrix you can Flubit the item for cheaper from amazon- i'm going to accept a £182.37 deal they've offered me today. pm if you would like me to send you an invite...
Mine packed up after way less than that so obviously they're not as good as they used to be. :p A tenner for a new element from eBay though and it's carrying on OK...
just buy a Dualit toaster, they last for years, i remember when i sold one to a customer a long time ago and she said her Dualit toaster packed in after 44 years, she bought it from Selfridges in London.
It's 3D ready. In fact, even without glasses, it still pops out at you.
Does the remote take AA or AAA? HD ready?
£37.56 & this item Delivered FREE in the UK with Super Saver Delivery direct from Amazon or best other price £15.99 + £5.50 delivery
OUT OF STOCK
Add a Tesco sim card (costs £2.49 I think) and you will get free delivery on the order. Then return the sim card pack to a local store for a refund.
what is the 'sim card trick'?
methinks comet are selling this for £39.99!!!!!!! Heat added.
It is the same principle ~ £4.85 for instore collection as well ~ it's really stupid!!
Dont worry it will soon be starring in the Sarah Connor chronicles!
Its obsolete shortly. Ofcom are going to auction all the digital rights so you would have to be off your telly to buy this.
that popular they have all been sold
Because the analog countdown timer pendulum kept getting clogged with crumbs
Toooooooooooo Far :-D
Added retailer, price and image (thanks Bristol and sofia  ) to title - welcome to the site solihullshopper- click the links in my signature for tips on posting deals :)
Welcome. You ideally should put the retailer and the price in the title of the thread.
I ordered one at the end of December, and they took the money immediately. On the 4th of January I got an email saying that they actually didn't have it. And I could either call them on their 0870 number and choose something else, or ask for a refund "with no penalty or admin fees applicable". I emailed back for a refund and they sat on my money until today, when I eventually called them and asked why the refund had not yet appeared on the card statement. I definitely did not like the fact that 1) they took the money before shipping the item or even confirming that they indeed had any to sell 2) sat on my money for almost 2 weeks 3) wanted me to call them on their 0870 number (I found a normal geographical number instead) so they could make more money out of me while I sat waiting (I had to wait 15 minutes before a representative actually answered) 4) had the gall to tell me that they would refund me for an item that they did not sell me without charging me. Can you believe it? "We'll take your money, keep it for a bit, and give it back to you without charging you". 5) gave me half-hearted and totally begrudged apology, and only after I specifically asked whether they were actually going to apologise or not. I certainly know where I will not shop next time.
Yes i just got the phone call too :( I was so excited about this iron too. Does anyone know of anything similar?
I placed an order before christmas and had an aknowledgement email. But a guy from Empire direct rang me to say that Rowenta were discontinuing this item and they will not be getting any more stock in and tried to get me to change my order to another iron! :-(
when did you order it?
just had a e-mail saying the iron was out of stock, they took my money and now have a 2 week wait or a similar item they may be able soruce. any suggestions?
