Before you slaughter me for posting a fan at this price note that in comparison this is around £170 on amazon UK. And better than the £300 dyson fans! As I am a light sleeper an… Read more
Caskey

The guy in that review saying the fan on silent mode isn't silent is talking rubbish. I have this fan and on silent you wouldn't think you have anything on, even had other people mention the same thing about it.

1delboy

This is not a product that is made or you can really get in the UK, There's about 350 on each of the IT, DE and FR sites. Why not take a look at them? If you want some facts then here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH6JEXKHhQc, sure they are trying to sell you the fan but there's facts in there and actual tests rather than a single disgruntled customer that is probably looking for money off..7mph isn't what that reciew is explaining.

Master_Yoda

I posted 25% of the total reviews on Amazon.co.uk for this product lol

1delboy

The thing I don't understand is that you've posted 1 review which was probably amongst hundreds of positive ones, every single thing in the world will have some bad reviews. People will always have something to moan about, most people only review when they've had a bad experience. The fact is this is the quietest fan of its kind and even at the most powerful setting it is still quieter than a cheap fan on it's lowest. You are taking a single review as fact, if that's how your brain works then everything must be garbage.

Master_Yoda

I haven't complained at all - I just posted some factual reviews showing another side to what was being presented - if you've got a problem with that, then that's your problem. People need to have both sides before spending their hard earned money and making a purchase. It's sad and worrying that people on this site get so defensive and attack anyone who tries to show any facts or remarks they don't agree with. The priority should be about the pros and cons of the product being sold and if it's actually a good deal or not, not about getting as much heat as you can. Regarding the Dyson fans. I've owned lots of them and yes they're all garbage. Even the £20 Honeywell fan posted in the Amazon deal the other day is quieter than all the Dyson fans I've owned.

I've had this iron for 2 years and with 3 kids and a hubby there's a LOT of ironing - it is the best iron I've had Easy to use and wonderful steam capacity/water tank I would only buy something I considered really good for my Mum! So as a user of this item - I can only highly recommend it! Methinks those that want you to cancel the order want it for themselves ; )

im looking for this exact model iron. i laugh at the ppl slagging this off... if i was in the market for a mercedes, i would care very little how cheap a comparative hyundai is. if there is a cheaper deal elsewhere then that should be the only thing being commented. bangmatrix you can Flubit the item for cheaper from amazon- i'm going to accept a £182.37 deal they've offered me today. pm if you would like me to send you an invite...

I ordered one at the end of December, and they took the money immediately. On the 4th of January I got an email saying that they actually didn't have it. And I could either call them on their 0870 number and choose something else, or ask for a refund "with no penalty or admin fees applicable". I emailed back for a refund and they sat on my money until today, when I eventually called them and asked why the refund had not yet appeared on the card statement. I definitely did not like the fact that 1) they took the money before shipping the item or even confirming that they indeed had any to sell 2) sat on my money for almost 2 weeks 3) wanted me to call them on their 0870 number (I found a normal geographical number instead) so they could make more money out of me while I sat waiting (I had to wait 15 minutes before a representative actually answered) 4) had the gall to tell me that they would refund me for an item that they did not sell me without charging me. Can you believe it? "We'll take your money, keep it for a bit, and give it back to you without charging you". 5) gave me half-hearted and totally begrudged apology, and only after I specifically asked whether they were actually going to apologise or not. I certainly know where I will not shop next time.

deleted67074

Yes i just got the phone call too :( I was so excited about this iron too. Does anyone know of anything similar?

Bluefusion

I placed an order before christmas and had an aknowledgement email. But a guy from Empire direct rang me to say that Rowenta were discontinuing this item and they will not be getting any more stock in and tried to get me to change my order to another iron! :-(

LordKelly

when did you order it?

garagekru

just had a e-mail saying the iron was out of stock, they took my money and now have a 2 week wait or a similar item they may be able soruce. any suggestions?
