Sainsburys dark is a winner in our house

My daughter likes their milk chocolate too. She likes to melt it and eat it like nutella, and Lovetts is one of the only brands that actually still melt properly. Dairy milk and galaxy go really nasty when melted!

Lidl is that price too. Edible but you can taste it is cheap

I've only had the Tesco's milk chocolate so far, which was a decent bar for the price. Their "Ms Molly's" range is fairly priced and is worth buying again. Obviously can't compare it to the likes of more expensive brands like Green and Blacks or Tony's Chocolonely though. It wouldn't surprise me if all of the 30p bars are made in the same factory anyway. (edited)

When I did eat sugary snacks I preferred the Sains ones, I'm now five weeks sugar free - well apart from the small amount of jam I have with breakfast

The Aldi ones are great for melting to use in baking as opposed to Tesco Mollys.

I think that all supermarkets do a 30p 60p and £1 own brand variety
