Anyone know if this is a good gaming laptop not clued up on it tbh but it's just for my 11 year old son.

Depend what he gonna play on it. Most popular games haven't big requirements.

as a gaming laptop I would say stay away... as a school laptop depending on age okay...
you are going to have to be more specific...
age of child, what games he plays, type of game etc is a good clue.. (edited)
Even if you have to look at the 2nd hand market.. if it looks good it probably is.. even in IT stuff. Sometimes even jusdge by the eye how it looks and spec...
If he wants a propper gaming rig its probably easier - but no laptop!
Ask him what he wants it for? Minecraft? Call of Duty? Easy convo me thinks! + you get close

if money is tight, i would not say its the best deal... you really ahve to ask him what games he wants to play, himself, or with friends.... office it's plenty good enough for...
Also what brand is the lappy?
at range and price its not bad value... depends on all sorts (edited)
