We use a PS3 Slim which runs sky go nice and smoothly, can be picked up second hand for £30 to £50.
Mendoza
a mini pc? like a tablet?
Gollywood
My decent spec laptop struggles with Sky Go. It's a terrible app. I end up looking for an online stream which is always better than the official Sky Go paid for version. It's absolutely terrible. You go onto the official Sky forum for advice & then you realise how bad Sky Go is (edited)
I was going to say exactly the same when I saw the title. I've tried …I was going to say exactly the same when I saw the title. I've tried running the app on a pretty healthy desktop and it ran like a dog. My 'average' laptop had no chance. It was yet another nail in my Sky subscription coffin. On the other hand, the Netflix app runs really well on all sorts of stuff.
Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Video, dodgy streaming sites all fly on my sub £200 laptop.
Sky Go dies every time.
I didn't even bother using it during the PL restart. Just used online streams which were infinitely better. (edited)

Xbox isn't really budget though
Xbox 360 is probably more ‘budget’ than a mini pc
No, like a mini PC
They didn't say 360.
Don't think it'd be a great investment though, I mean how much longer is it going to be supported?
