Just got this through as an email. Good price but low miles. However when you increase the mileage it's really very good. Double the mileage is only an extra 30 quid a month. And… Read more

I had this car previously and as has already been mentioned, the 2L petrol is underpowered, the 2.2 Diesel is a must for this car. That aside, the infotainment is still a few years behind most brands (I had to flash Android into it a few years ago to make it usable) Other than that its brilliant, its a real looker especially in the soul red with the chrome grill.

csdt3

Yeah. I ordered 10.

UKNOWIT

Sorry do not go for this car.... I have got 2.2l diesel sport and it genuinely goes zoom zoom!! If you are going for the newer model go for the 2.3l GT. It looks the money and works hard when you need it. The 2.0 petrols does not drive well and does not pull as much as the diesel versions.... Also the diesels are excempt if you are living in London!

Last year. Yes :)

EasterRomantic

Ive got the last gen Mazda 3 with the 2.0 - great to drive but needs heaps more power . Can't imagine an estate would pull that well with a similar engine.

No problems, I was seriously tempted myself. I am glad if it helped anyone out.

I know this deal is expired but managed to get a manual version of this car 2 days ago thanks to this deal. Thank you OP for getting me to do my first lease! These deals always tend to go off tangent and we forget to thank OP!

vulcanproject

The Insignia or Mondeo don't have naturally aspirated engines anymore. Only the Mondeo hybrid has a comparable unit, and it's not really any more powerful than this without the electric motor because it's also economy focused. So your comparisons to other engines by displacement are irrelevant. Once again I have to point to you the fact the skyactiv engines are designed primarily for economy. They have extreme compression ratios and capable of very lean burn, with low emissions for this displacement despite the lack of a turbocharger. Most built smaller displacement with turbochargers to meet emissions, Mazda did something else. The fact you think that this base model engine doesn't output enough for the displacement is meaningless. The next model up is the same displacement in a higher state of tune, 160 horsepower. Is that not enough to be called average either. Average means what is basically the middle of the road for saloon performance. If you are comparing a base model to a higher end models with more powerful engines what's the point.

stesavingexpert

The point being if you take a 2 litre petrol engine it is really poor performance. A point made stronger by my reference to a much smaller engine. If you want a fairer comparison what doesthe 2 litre petrol insignia and Mondeo bang out? Much more than this. The best selling point is irrelevant.

mick.thorpe

Timing chain is what caused the majority of my problems, caused havoc in the engine and 3 months off the road. Happened at only 60k miles too. Staying away is definitely a good idea

thinking again, might not be worth it ;)

I see. Was just looking at this GT 2.5 model and wondering if it's worth 3.5k extra? (GT has some extra features like 360 camera, heated back seats + the better BHP and acceleration but worse MPG about 2l/100km) any thoughts? maybe there are better cars available at this price point? P.S. won't be asking the wife ;)

Cheap motoring for 2 years. Lots of variants of this deal. 18p cheaper over the term to do the 9+ profile but thought this was better
dhendry02

Same here, the remap transformed the car :-)

DJBenz

They don't but I've seen people say the responses from their mis-price enquiry has gone along the lines of "This price was an error and isn't available, but as you've enquired I assume you're in the market for a new vehicle. Anything I can help with?"

Marekj

Mis-prices don’t buy you any good will, tbh.

DJBenz

So many mis-prices lately, it's almost like they want the enquiries so they can try and sell you something else...

I looked at this the other day. Comes out at £305 for 24 months. 48 months saying £299. Defo 2yr one I think The picture doesn't look like a Mégane RS though. Exhaust on RS is single straight down the middle. Don't see many of them on the roads either , well I haven't

Grahamdue

https://www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/deals/personal/renault/megane-rs-hatchback/18-280-5dr/3424284/48508344/ - doesn't seem a bad price. Personally I'd rather go 3 years than 4 but not when 3 costs so much more!

efc_4ever

Can anybody tell me who's best deal for Renault Mégane RS
