Great game and many hours of gameplay for under £4! Bargain

This is weird, this thing has been going up in price for a few weeks now on CD Keys! It was £4.xx then 5.xx now £6.49? Still well worth the game, just at this point it's probably better to wait for a Steam sale. It's on gamepass. The DLC was on sale as well a few days ago. I don't know if they still are now.

Yes, xbox games all install and run from the HDD so dlc and retail versions are all the same.....i have the disc myself and grabbed the season pass a few days ago for 2 quid, all work perfectly.

Can I use the dlc with my disc copy?

This game has been on sale every other week since release 3 years ago, it flopped massively and they still can't give the collectors editions away. Perhaps if they gave more than an A5 sized art book, cheap statue and ingame 1 time use digital gun for its RRP of £79.99 then fans wouldn't feel ripped off. It's a shame that many AAA studios are ditching quality games to push greedy microtransactions. The ironic thing with Mankind divided is it became the greedy villian from its predecessor DeusEx1 and put a price on everything. So fans were asked to pay extra for their pre-order stretch goals and have the unfinished game 4 days earlier, or if the game is hard use the ingame store to buy ammo!. And if the 10 hour main quest is too short, well you can buy 3xDLC missions which give you an extra 4 hours of do nothing choices at £12 a pop. You're also invited to play their pay2win breach mode which is like metal gear solid time trial expect you can pay for loot boxes, weapons and ammo to help you get a better times against the other 4 players that have nothing better to do. Seriously, avoid this nonsense and vote with your wallet, spend your money on a game like Cyberpunk2077 when it comes out and support developers that care about games instead of shareholders.

Wish they'd do a reboot of this - same plot but improved graphics and enemy AI. Always seemed a bit daft that you could pick off baddies with the sniper rifle and none of their mates would notice. For gameplay and story this version beat the later ones by a mile.

My bad - I saw it listed as a download and thought it was available.

The director's cut is a different version that is not available digitally. There is no director's cut dlc.

Make sure to grab the Directors Cut DLC for the game (it's free) - it makes big (important) changes to how the game plays compared to how it played at launch - especially regarding the bosses.

Just got the DLC, 59p and 71p, bargains.

Same here. Barely little explanation as to what I can do. And realised I needed wallthrough videos to play. Never like games like that so dropped it. Wonderful games like God of War can be played.

HR was great, this one not so much

Personally I would say yes as Mankind Divided is a continuation of the story from Human Revolution. It's worth playing HR anyway (despite the poorly implemented boss fights) as it's a fantastic game. You don't have to, but it would be a bit like playing Mass Effect 3 before Mass Effect 2 - you'd play it fine but bits wouldn't make any sense.

Is Human Revolution worth picking up and playing through before starting this one?

Maybe so but that definitely doesn't make it a bad game especially when you're comparing it to previous awesome games :)

Excellent game until you leave Prague for the last time. Its like they blew their budget in making Prague so good they ran out of time/money to make a giod ending. Overall very good though - they mercifully got rid of the terrible boss levels

This was on PS4. Don’t know if the glitch is universal. The losing an hour gameplay made me realise I couldn’t be bothered replaying the hour I lost. If that was the case then it wasn’t a good game.

That sounds rather off putting. What platform? I will be playing on Xbox one x. I have checked few reviews since posting and it seems like on average it was getting rather good reviews!:) I think I will wait till it’s free on Game Pass or Gold:)

really enjoyed the game when it was first released. hours of fun for this price.

I played through the season pass content, and it was actually surprisingly good. The first bit is basically a 3 hour side quest from the main game, so more of the same if you want that, and the second bit is a 4-6 hour chunk of a completely different setting and some interesting gameplay mechanics and story. Had a good time with both, would recommend. Total game time for me was around 50 hours and loved all of it. Really enjoyable.

Great game, great price. Has a bad rep due to bad optimization at launch and microtransactions which can be ignored.

Recently 'platinum'ed' this game. Slower paced and more strategic, with loads of saving to get optimal runs. Loved it.

Awesome game. I've bought it for both Xbox and PS3. Love it. Just hope they bring it out on switch now. That or a remaster of the original Deus Ex which was also amazing.

Accidentally killing someone on a non-lethal play through only to realize you haven't saved it when you wanted to save it and have to restart from the beginning of the level. Good times (lol)

I have played and completed this game across three different formats and over two different version, the first released normal harder version on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC steam, then the directors version again across a PS3, xbox 360 and steam PC.......and i still would play it if it came out on another system. lol

Great game - certainly on the first play through. On subsequent play throughs the flaws were glaring and lessened the enjoyment. But not many games get a 2nd play through from me so it did well - a 5 * rating from me. Incredible value, the game has aged very well.
