Just play whatever you feel you'll enjoy more. Games aren't meant to be taken so seriously. Just enjoy it. I played all Souls games and didn't have any problems with Sekiro. Some people are way too dramatic. Play whatever you want first. It's a great game.

Great price (y)

I'm enjoying this game. It's pretty tough in my opinion but I'm going to keep chipping away at it. HEAT

Soulsbourne first. As the releases have gone on, combat has gotten faster and the game more fluid. Playing this first will make demons souls, dark souls and dark souls 2 feel slow and poop.

please PS4 too. do souls 1st.

Local deals? Fair enough. I’ve been lucky to take advantage of a few over the years. Massive heat on local deals? Nope. Don’t understand it. It’d be nice if the heat was directionally proportionate to availability, but you’ll quite often find a single copy of a game, in a country of 60 million, getting ridiculous heat. Utterly baffling. This particular deal pertains to a very specific copy of a game where the disc is loose. It is literally the only copy. Which explains the cold votes.

Isnt the point of hotukdeals to "be aware" of a deal? Regardless of whether it is local and might serve just one other person in obtaining this deal make it all worth it?

Maybe the Decapitation also?

disc loose in case

I said in-store and described it as a local deal as well as clicking the local deal option on the app. How are you seeing it as nationwide??

It’s been out for a month and used prices are almost the same as what they are for the game brand new. This one won’t see a price drop for about 6 months I reckon.

Can't get both items to add to basket at this price, I assume the offer has either ended or the title is wrong. Voted cold either way.

Apparently this game is rock hard. I expect there to be a healthy used market soon.

This game is so good! Forget Souls-borne and learn to be aggressive understand the fighting techniques and this game is so much fun, some of the boss battles are so intense.

Voted hot. It's still £36-42 selling on auction sites. So anything in that band is decent value new.

It’s holding its price a little too well for me this.... I’ll bite at £35...

Sorry, the promotional code you entered is either expired or not valid.

Sorry to copy/paste my previous comment, but it seemed to get lost back there and I don't want to waste my money if possible. Hopefully someone may be able to help. Unless I'm going mad I thought there were no region restrictions on XB1?! "There are 3 different versions of Division 2 standard edition being sold, Global, EU & US. The EU & US versions both have warnings that they can only be activated and played in the relevant region. If I was to purchase the US version, my thinking is that a VPN would solve the redemption issue, but would it mean I'd have to route my Xbox through the VPN every time I wanted to play? I haven't bought anything from a different store since I bought the last Division, and that wasn't region locked after I'd redeemed the code. I'm a little hesitant to buy if digital copies are now region locked.

I don't get it. Can someone please explain how I purchase sekiro for PS4 at £33?

And i can’t buy anything else with the code “as i’ve used it already”

Well said. Poor optimisation is the usual culprit with these things. Sometimes it's more to do with coding than anything else. Other times it's more than likely laziness on the part of the devs

It really should be running at 1080/60 FPS, fact is this game isn't a graphical masterpiece and if games like the Witcher 3 on the Xbox one x and nioh on the PS4 pro can give a pretty solid 60 then i can't see why from software can't manage to push the hardware in the same way. I would love a patch with some sort of 1080/60 option on the pro or X, would take that over 1800p with frame rate all over the shop.

There's a number of articles out there that say the framerate is unstable, running between 30-40 fps on enhanced consoles, and choppy 30fps on base consoles with frame pacing issues. USGamer called the performance, disappointing. GearNuke called it a mess on all platforms.

Not sure where you might've read that. I played it on PS4 Pro from release day and it ran really well for the most part. The game crashed once in 80h total play time and the frame rate tanks at times in specific areas, but it's faaaar better than Bloodborne was at launch. Of note, the load times are excellent and I didn't come across any graphical/physics bugs or anything like that.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice PC is 20% Off

It's a brilliant game but Activision are a bit greedy on the price point. Plenty of games can be had from GMG at release for a fair scratch cheaper.

This is quite cold, do any of you know where this might be cheaper to buy for PC currently? Not trying to cause any arguments, just curious as I really want to buy the game :)

They buy boxed copies in bulk in countries where they're relatively cheap, then harvest the keys from the boxes. They've got to keep the lights on, so £40 for a new release isn't unreasonable.

What are you on about?

I got this from CDKeys Before launch for £35.99 without code, so no, it's not a deal tbh

Excellent game. BUT, if you struggled with Dark Souls, don't come anywhere near this. It makes those games look like kids games.

Best game I've played in a while I'd say its the best thing From Software has done yet, fans of the souls games should definitely get this

You need to learn to block and deflect!

I made a video playthru from the start in this game and I struggled alot early on.

Do you actually have OCD or are you just being flippant?

Sorry to revive an otherwise dead thread (for the most part), as someone who has the game on PC it is VERY easy to run and will run 60fps max settings on your rig extremely easily. I've heard the console versions aren't so great(performance wise), and they both only play at locked 30fps so yes PC is definitely the place to play Sekiro, especially with the PC requirements being so extremely low.

Rock. Bloody. Hard. But it's also brilliant. Just don't expect another Soulsborne though, this is different although it does have some of its DNA. This is much more like Nioh (no bad thing). The first mini-boss had me stuck for well over an hour and I'm still convinced that I fluked it... The grapple really opens up the levels into a more sand-boxy environment than the SoulsBorne games ever were, and it's quick, probably too quick at first. It is great fun though and although time will tell, it's well on it's way to being another From Software masterpiece.

I think that's a good enough explanation

Awesome but super hard, dark souls on steroids.
