£33 isn't that cheap after a month and a bit, couldn't you get it for £37-40 at launch? This is the cheapest it's been I think. Of course, it's no Fallout 76 which was £20 after a month of release.

I realise that this doesn't really answer your question and so I may come across like an Amazon reviewer who says "I don't know it's a Christmas present", but I have a Hori D-Pad joy-con and I would absolutely recommend it, with it attached it plays just as well as the other versions (I also had it on PS4). I really am hesitant to try it with a regular joy-con, although I suppose I should to answer these kinds of questions.

Will save my kash and add it to my kollection after a further price kut. Will buy some krispy kremes instead.

Brilliant game but I made the mistake of playing it on Ps4 1st and now on switch the graphical downgrade is very noticeable but the portability easily makes up for it.

Interestingly I have never used them before. If you pay with Paypal they require ID - I just used a prepaid credit card and no ID was asked for

Just a guess, but its probably cold as charging extra for characters straight off the bat is considered a bit of a no no by quite a few people

Not sure why this is cold, it's currently the cheapest price for the premium edition as far as I'm aware (if it's cheaper elsewhere let me know :) ). The standard edition is currently £33.99 at CDkeys but to add the Kombat Pack (adds 6 DLC fighters) to that would cost an additional £28, bringing the cost to £61.99. So this is roughly £20 cheaper than going down that route

Yeah true, I'm lucky enough to be able to do both, but when I'm play it at work on switch I'm thinking I'd rather be at home playing it on my Xbox.

They have released a patch which deals with most of the issues.

Pre ordered Xbox one version and got gifted switch edition for my birthday, the difference between them is massive imo I'd play this on Xbox, Ps4 or PC.

Deffo doomed with 'download only xbox' consoles hitting the shelves. I suspect Playstation wont be far behind... its hard to see any long term future for physical game retailers.

surprisingly they are not doing too badly. They were in profit by GBP 14.8 million over the last 6 months Not sure why people keep going to them though where you pay £50 for a new game , when you can usually get it for around £35 online
