Decent game. Felt a bit overbloated though and overpadded with unnecessary criteria to progress. But a decent game nonetheless. Definitely not a masterpiece not that anyone said it is (cheeky)
I have to agree with that comment. I played this one first and then the first one a few years after. I had much more fun on the 2nd one and loved the castle building as well as the little skirmish phases. For this price is it really a steal, many hours of play in this game (y)
100% worth the money – preferred this to the first game tbh. The kingdom building mechanics and all of the levelling up and stat building that comes with that completely absorbed me. Beautiful soundtrack too.
Really enjoyed this game. Great price and worth a shot if you are on the fence.
Yeah Game Collection are possibly one of the best online retailers tbh. Items are dispatched quickly and always well packaged to avoid damage, it's my go to place for my games nowadays.
Really liked New Dawn, got on with it much better than with FC5 as they fixed the stealth issues. Mind you, I think they've patched FC5 and fixed that now as well. Great game though, well worth this price.
Shame you don't get FPS boost like you do with the XB version. "But it's still the cheapest I've ever been", says the game.
Been playing new dawn for the last couple of weeks. Really enjoying it considering reviews weren’t great. Good 20 hours gameplay for me.
Cracking game, I wish I'd had the diligence to 100% complete it. Got pretty close. Hours, if not days of entertainment to be had.
That’s why I mentioned ‘digital’. Some people just want to pay the least amount to play a game, not bothered by physical or digital.
I do love the box art though.
Just bought. Thanks.
I'm still not going to buy it. Madness I know, given this great price, but I've got it on PS3 and my projector handles that console really well, but struggles with PS4 for some reason. God knows why. Great price for someone else though.

Glad I waited for the £3 price drop today. Never played the original on PS3 and nearly caved when it was £7 on the store, but happy to add more physical discs to give the Mrs a reason to complain that I have no more space for games (lol)
If you play on PS4 Pro/PS5 there is a choice between 1440p 60fps/ 4K 30fps. It’ll look a lot better than PS3’s 720p but it’s a great game regardless 😄
I rebought the PS3 version of Ni No Kuni before the remaster was announced. Is there much difference? Not bothered about a few extra frames per second/higher res. Is there any additional content, like there is with Vesperia?
Thank you (y)

Have to agree, first Ni No Kuni is better. I still have the collectors edition
That’s the part I hated (if remember, it’s when you do that weird rugby charge/scrum thingy). The combat is better though. But still a bit pants. Just better than the first, which wasn’t hard to do. It’s only the second time I’ve played through it (the first one) and it’s better than I remembered. It’s just got a certain charm that’s missing in the second. The familiars, whilst having lots of associated problems, are good fun. And just the story is better. Lovely little fairy tale. The second one I’ve started several times, then just can’t be bothered. Gets really boring. Having said that, the first one has long stretches of boredom in it too. I just think the first one was sort of “greater than the sum of it’s parts”. I do admire Level 5 trying new and interesting things in their games. It just doesn’t always work. I think both Ni No Kunis are quite overrated. The first one had the advantage of coming out at a time when there was a seeming drought of console style RPGs which got everyone’s attention.
Much prefer the 2nd thanks to kingdom building aspect which really pulled me in. Plus the combat was better. But to each their own.
Cool beans. I should of known that Can’t go back to less than 60fps now
The Remaster includes all the DLC from the PS3 version and it runs at 2160p/30fps or 1440p/60fps on PS4 Pro.
