how is this so hot? certainly not an offer in my loughborough dominos
same, been trying to get this to work all week. asked in store, tried online
50OFF50! works a lot of the time for me
Just for information as I go dominos fairly frequently as in college if your collecting you can always pick up pizza last fairly inexpensive (ie a large pizza with one topping is a fiver and a medium for £4) with those offers you can also add toppings for £1.20 to a large usually a grab a large and a couple toppings for only £6.20 and that's a lunch time deal (before 4pm) hope this helps someone!

Tiny portions very expensive about £3 for 12 chips !
The conditions look a bit sketchy, in fact I cannot find them written down. Is it all children free with one paying adult as is verbally suggested or is it one child free per paying adult?

It really isn't difficult to fry some onions, garlic and tomatoes in olive oil. This is a great deal for bone-idle people but not for the rest of us.
bone-idle is a little harsh, I guess people may have times where they are to busy to prepare the sauce fresh.
You can make the sauce in the time it takes to cook your pasta!
come on then share your recipe and a pic of the result?

Guys, you pay almost £24K on this over a certain amount of time then give the car back. Oh and you can only do 5000miles in a year, which means you'll hardly be using the vehicle for proper long drives. Silly.
Some of you have not got a clue. Would you rather have a boring BMW or E class that you see on the road all day or a Mazza. No Brainer. And have you heard the sound of one of these.... Awesome.

Problem is, when that draws up to the Golf Club, everybody will expect to see some short, overweight balding 50 something year old in the middle of a mid life crisis step from it. So yes you are essentially spot on, its all down to taste (or lack of it) and for the record I don't drive either of the cars mentioned, i'm just young enough to still maintain a little credibility.....just

The second point and a deal breaker for me is that its a modern diesel, which means a DPF - diesel particulate filter which basically kills all of the reliability that a diesel engine had 15 years ago, it also means not taking it on short journeys and doing 12k miles per year, which is a bit hard on a contract only giving 5k. Of course if the DPF does screw up and require a new one then you will foot the bill, as very few manufacturers cover its failure (or cleaning it) in their warranties, especially if driving style has attributed to it.

A professional third party cleaning of the DPF costs around £200 - £300, a new one can cost £2000 - £3000 if cleaning doesn't resolve the error codes. Bear in mind that a DPF is required to regenerate (clean) itself of soot build up every 300 - 400 miles, it doesn't take long for it to become blocked, if you only do Town driving or short journeys. In other words, you need to drive down a motorway at a steady constant speed for 20 - 30 mins at least once every 300 - 400 miles, if you don't the car will eventually go into limp mode as the DPF gets more and more blocked, and has been unable to have the opportunity to normally clean itself through its regeneration cycle, and if it gets to that point then you will be paying £200 + for the dealer to manually perform a regeneration using diagnostic software or a cleaning company blast out the blockage.

So if you don't make regular motorway trips, don't buy a diesel (any diesel car) as the DPF won't get the chance to regenerate automatically unless you are making those steady 20 - 30 minute drives.

But don't just take my word for it, ask the dealer or better still email the manufacturer (of any diesel car) how many annual miles you should be doing in order to maintain the DPF and the driving style required so as not risk falling foul of any warranty exclusions on it, then choose your vehicle and contract hire deal, based on what you are told.

[quote=vulcanproject] It's not that good a base car, but especially average once it's got the diesel engine chucked in it.
Usually you can excuse Masers price and other problems because they have something glorious sounding under the bonnet and look gorgeous. This has only the looks to rescue it, it's not what you would even call that quick while sounding like a JCB.
A 530D has absolutely no problems boshing it performance wise and offering probably a better base car to boot. 535D M sport is another class entirely....
Still, this is a cheap for the brand and is something different in the company car park, although they are packed full of 530D's for a reason...
....... anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd and doesn't use it a lot it would be of considerable interest.

The other qualifiers are that they need to have very poor judgement and appalling taste.

530 and 535 and 550 for that matter are slow and ugly and depreciate bafly. rather have my audi s3 thanks as it scores better on all counts
BMW, Merc, Audi, Jag are all for boring corporate reps and middle managers therefore obviously wouldn't appeal to someone looking for something a little bit out of the ordinary like this. And why ever would you compare a S3 to one of these? That's closer in style to aforementioned
Fiat 500. I wouldn't have one (I have a boring Merc convertible and do about 15k/yr) but to anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd and doesn't use it a lot it would be of considerable interest.
Maserati and diesel should not be anywhere near each other

Brilliant...already registered..but pasted link direct to voucher ...a big thank-you!!
Yay! I've been waiting for another of these. The deal on the receipt in our locals is usually for £5, and you need to naff around with a survey to get it. They also have a permanent £5 off on their app (as well as the kids eat free, which we often use) - £10 is a big difference.

Personally I think it's pretty good value. Since they changed the menu last year it's massively improved. We go for lunch - a couple of wraps or chicken pittas comes to under £20, so a tenner off makes for a pretty cheap meal. Since they moved from Coke to Pepsi I only order water anyway, as I'm not prepared to pay nearly £4 for a glass of Pepsi!
Cough Cough.

Firstly I think there overpriced even with the voucher.
Secondly, they give you a ten pound off voucher everytime you eat in there, its on the receipt. Mind you,i do like the music!!!!!!!

I think its a cold deal, but im not gonna mark it cold.:p

Are you for real?

lol...

if you bought a bottle of nando's piri piri sauce in tesco, would you expect it to taste the same as the sauce you get in the restaurant?

why is so ridiculous to assume a product produced and branded by a restaurant resembles the equivalent product in the restaurant?

oh well, you carry on enjoying your delicious "pizza express" in the comfort of your home ;-)

Sloppy Giuseppe one is delicious! Of course a packaged pizza isn't going to be as good as a freshly made restaurant pizza.

what i should have said was in my opinion it was nothing like pizza express whatsoever - just something for people to be aware of in case they have similar expectations!

Pretty much identical to the Filippo stuff - i.e. bog standard run of the mill extra virgin.

You won't get anything amazing for this price - and Filippo, Bertolli etc are just average oils, never worth their "full price" of £9+/litre.

check the deals tab on the website

The leyland store shows "50% OFF PIZZA" and hit order. Don't use the code.

Choose create your own and add 4 toppings for no extra cost.. cheaper to do it yourself than to order their specific types of pizza.

Example

Pepporoni Passion is 8.99 large half price, but if the link is there and you create the same pizza yourself its 6.49.

Save yourself an addition 2.50 for the same pizza.

Nice one OP :)
will it really taste much better? some people can't even boil an egg. I can cook and would buy this over making from scratch (to that small quantity).

Still overpriced...
Not cheap, but try getting the ingredients (esp' olive one) and making it yourself - lot of work, time consuming and doesn't work out much cheaper.

Buy at least you know what you've put in it and it'll taste much better...

Will me much nicer and fresher and you won't be lining the pockets of this pretentious fool.
True on the fresher part, but my cooking - maybe not so much nicer X)
I don't mind Oliver at all - he's actually one of the more 'watchable' chefs on tv, and his recipes are fairly easy to follow.
(Just an aside; loved this episode of South Park X) )

Been posted before at least twice (HERE & HERE) but it's a great app - especially for free.

Ahh, I did a search it came up blank :| Well, worth a repost anyway, can't praise this site enough.

It's interesting. It doesn't teach you any rules of the language, instead teaching you phrases in context through repetition. I think this app in combination with a more structured method to learn the fundamental rules of the language is a great way to learn.

Case in point, I'm using Duolingo to study Italian. I'm finding learning verb conjugations very difficult by just being told them in context, so I'm using a verbs crib-sheet I found online at the same time.

EDIT: It should be pointed out that it's free because essentially, after a certain point, they're using people as a means of crowd-source translation of scanned text which can't be machine translated. I'm still not sure how I feel about this, but I'm still learning the basics so it's hardly of note right now.

The exercises aren't part of the crowd-source translation; that hasn't been incorporated into the phone apps yet. On the website, you'll see a specific section where various websites and blogs have been posted and are up for people to translate. No compulsion in doing that (yet) though, but I don't see any harm in it and it could be good to further develop your abilities.

Oxo have started to do the Chinese and Italian (and tikka so guess this replaces the Indian cubes) in the flavour shakers now
Why why why discontinue? Bring them back NOW please!
Seems a good deal. I used to use Bisto's spag. bol granules - it was awesome sniffle sniffle. Adds loads of depth to the flavour, will try and grab somenof the Oxo ones if we bob in today. Cheers Op!

snap these up quick, we can't get them anywhere in N.I so I contacted Oxo to see where I could get them, they said they have discontinued them because of a lack of demand, I'm gutted as I made my lasagne, pasta dishes and bolognese with these, I would have bought every last box if I had known this!
That's what happened with the Chinese flavoured and the Italian ones....soon after I managed to get a huge box on eBay though of the Chinese ones as they were gorgeous on stir frys, will be getting some more this week!

I loved the chinese ones, made such a difference to a homemade curry, the Indian ones were lovely too, really wish they wouldn't discontinue any of them, I was a huge fan of them

Why would you use a stock cube in a tomato based sauce!
Have a try.....gives much more flavour to home made meatballs etc
