Got a laugh.
Serious question though. I know hand luggage is 10kg I have a bag for that. How much can I take in the backpack as well?
I usually just put a pair of going out shoes in mine and stuff it with dirty clothes when it's time to go back. :)

"Do I need to pay for water? Yes."
Doesn't their alcohol license cover free tap water? Not sure if it's different on an aircraft but any premise in England, Wales and Scotland that has an alcohol license has to provide free tap water as part of the license.
Anyone know?
Hey! I'm not sure in regards with Ryanair. What I know is... An aircraft is allowed to take off as long as it has water and food. The law doesn't state whether it has to be free or not. But if I were to tell you, as a cabin crew, I would avoid drinking the water from the tap on board (regardless of the airline). ;)

You can only use the free offers once per account. You can create another account on another phone with different email address, sim card, and credit card details and of course a different IMEI. The cheap 2nd hand phones from 02 advertised on this site regularly at around £10.00 can be useful for this.

Thanks for the info...can you just do this with a diff email id?and different bank card? do you have to have another phone etc?
Uber should be illegal.

I have been on this exact holiday. Reps are an unneccessary pain but can also be useful guides, mourtemeno apartments are literally like prison cells but smaller, if you like to stay in your hotel don't go here.

That said one of the best and cheapest holidays I've ever been on, 10minute ramble to an incredible beach, Syvota and nearby Parga are beautiful, great food, very cheap and sweet friendly gracious people. Lots of feta salads simple honest tasty, rent a little motor boat and see the clearest water you will see anywhere in the world and find yourself a private white sandy pristine beach. Go to the olive oil factory in Parga, the oil they produce is amazing. Everything is on a small scale so not a daunting place to visit. If you feel adventurous rent a moped, no traffic and good roads, otherwise 20minute walk to the little seaside town where yachts are moored and there are small tourist shops, arcades and plenty of kebab, ice cream shops and restaurants. There are loads of shuttles and excursions available, go to the local excursion office on the way to town to get it cheaper than from the reps, locals are not rip off merchants and reps go to the same place. If you are a foodie you will find good food, if you are not fussed there is lots of choice. You can't really go wrong on this holiday it's just a traditional quiet breakaway, not challenging, mostly pretty peaceful, town open til late. Do it.
spughie
This might sound stupid, but as a single person could I purchase for 2 adults then just go myself?

Always wonder this. sometimes stating 1 adult makes things more expensive but should try first. should be same or lower cost as its same room but one less flight.

Or find another singleton to go with. eh? eh?? :)
el_cheapo
It would appear that there is more than 1 sivota. I believe this holiday is actually in Syvota which is on the mainland very close to Corfu not on the island of Lefkada

I think you're right, made even more confusing as it seems to be spelt two different ways too. This is from the Olympic website:

SivotaSet in an area of outstanding natural beauty, unspoilt Sivota is clad in cool green forests of pine, cypress and olive trees, with majestic mountains, green valleys and fringed with serene sandy coves.

DescriptionSivota remains one of the most unspoilt regions in the whole of Greece. Located on the mainland of Greece just 20 kilometres north of Parga and overlooking Corfu , holidays in Sivota are fabulous for anyone looking for a beautiful unspoilt holiday destination with most of its heritage still intact.

I don't see any reason why not, you've paid for both. I mean who knew last minute that your 'friend' would be taken ill and couldn't go....

Great tip re - using the lounges. As per the poster you have to queue within the buffet car and collect your food and drink doggie bag. No trolley service and definitely no alcohol. With how popular the promotion's going to be apart from the larger seats it's just like you're in standard class/
The food and drink in first class at the weekends is rubbish compared to the weekday first class service. You get a snack box and some soft drinks.

However, don't forget that you are entitled to use the first class lounges before departure and for up to an hour after arrival. You can help yourself to drinks and snacks there too.

We only went to Yangon in Myanmar - wish we travelled further. The thing that struck me was how expensive it was, especially with accommodation. The military govt seems to control prices still. There's also a ban on motorcycles in the capital which we found very odd having travelled straight from Hanoi where they're everywhere.

Yeah apparently this was following an incident where someone on a bike drove up next to a car with a military general in it, and pointed his finger as if to imitate firing a pistol. The next day all motorcycles were banned (in Yangon only) confused

I went to Burma about 15 years ago. It was certainly an experience. Whatever your views of wether or not you should go, the locals were extremely pleased to see tourists.

It's £300 at Centersdirect.co.uk but the reviews for this system are not that good.just called the store and they said its £299 so you got lucky with that price.
Thanks for the redirect to buy online. I think the post should be updated to £299 as that seems to be the commonly available price. P&P is, however, free. I have ordered one and it arrives tomorrow. Agreed there are some bad reviews but there are lots of good ones too. considering the discount and the convenience of wireless capability I'm risking it.

Heres my amazon review if it helps ..

"Had I reviewed this item up to 5 months of ownership I would probably have given it 5 stars. Looks stylish, bags of features, dialogue is very clear and sub woofer packs a punch. However it was after 5 months that I encountered 'Drifting Audio Sync'. What this means is that you will start watching something with sound and picture happily in sync, then gradually the sound will become more and and more out of sync until you have to reboot or disconnect equipment to bring back into line.

Over a number of weeks the frequency of the problem has increased for me to the point that the equipment is almost useless. This is certainly not unique to me - if you head over to the SONY forum you'll see a lot of unhappy people with the same issue. SONY are sufficiently aware of the problem to have given it a name (Drifting Audio Sync.) However they do not know the cause and therefore have no fix."

Since this review a workaround of disconnecting from the internet (and therefore losing functionality) has provided a partial solution (for most people, most of the time.) Also a firmware update has allegedly fixed this but haven't tried myself as previous updates claimed to fix it and didn't - and also the workaround is currently working for me and I don't want to rock the boat !

If was early September I'd bite but I'm pretty sure they've had massive hurricanes most October's for the last few years years haven't they?

Just checked 6 and 7 September is priced at £643.
If was early September I'd bite but I'm pretty sure they've had massive hurricanes most October's for the last few years years haven't they?
I went to Cancun in Late Sept / Early Oct once and the weather was still absolutely roasting, sure the odd tropical downpour for half hour and then clear skies again. Won't be the same everywhere but could well be a cheeky bargain
This is not a good time of year to experience a great resort. Don't do it.
This is what holiday-weather.com has on its site

Just as summer ends in many countries around the world, Bridgetown still has an average temperature of 27°C (81°F) in October and it is a fantastic place for an autumn break. High temperatures reach 29°C (84°F) with milder evenings of 24°C (75°F) and a welcoming breeze.
A solid 8 hours of sunshine per day and sea temperatures of 29°C (84°F) means a trip to this resort can certainly help to keep winter at bay.
October is generally a humid month and one of the rainiest months of the year with 178mm, but there are still blue skies and many interesting activities to explore. Even though October is in the hurricane season it is unlikely to be affected by a tropical storm or hurricane, so this is a great time to visit Barbados.

dont be fooled by this deal. I called up the provider... it's 2 days with arrival in Rome at 11pm and departure the next day at 6 :3 0am for the 6th/7th November date! They want to suck you in once you buy the voucher to upgrade.

Thanks for pointing that out, knew their had to be a catch.
Terrible flight times! Just called.. you lose 2 full days, leaving you with only 1 full day there.

You should edit the title to say £69pppn - £69 per person per night - its misleading as is.

But its not per person per night, its £69 per person 2 nights.

I was replying to someone who was asking about dates and availability. I didn't say they had to travel on those dates!! You will see the screen shots I posted to them had flights for April and May.

I never had the luggage price added on when I screen shotted the dates with Delta. I may be mistaken though. Apologies it will add an extra £20pp onto the price if people have one case.
Thank you for the constructive feedback it is helpful and I'll note it for future deals.

Strangely I have just tried again with Delta and it never gave me the option to add hold luggage on, nor the cost or how to do this. I'm genuinely interested in a) whether it's included and b) if it isn't how are you supposed to add it on or pay for it, unless you do it at the airport. I've sent them a tweet so will report back. It would be helpful if you could let me know if you can see an option to add luggage on on the Delta website as I can't on a mobile.

Forgive me but this just goes to show that you really haven't a clue. You DON'T go to Toronto, Niagara Falls and New York in February unless you have to, you definitely don't go on holiday. Blizzards, day time freezing temperatures, why ? Mid April can still be bad here as well. Now let's start looking at the itinerary. That Lisbon hotel has some interesting reviews, plus you never seem to add any airport transfers in your prices, why ? The Niagara hotel to the airport is over 2 hours by bus or at least £50 by taxi, probably more, as you're crossing in to the USA from Canada and will have a border check but again no mention of this. Have you added luggage on this "holiday" ? I presume that you have as surely nobody would create an itinerary like this without adding luggage would they ?A sense of reality is required in your posts. They remind me of one of those cakes that look nice but as soon as you bite in to it you realise that it looks a lot better than it tastes and really wish that you hadn't bothered wasting your money in the first place.Sorry.
OK, I'll answer your questions. Firstly, this is in April. You'll arrive into Toronto around the 18th April NOT February, I'm unsure where you got that from. Yes, luggage is included. Flights are with TAP and I you get 23kg of allowance. I would say if luggage was extra.
Lastly, in regards to airport transfers. I find that many people like to explore their own options for airport transportation. With the likes of Uber or similar, as well as public transport I find that my choice of using public transport wouldn't suit everyone. There are far cheaper ways of getting from Niagara to Buffalo and for anyone that booked this trip this is useful link as there is a Greyhound bus as well as a list of transfer companies. I guess some people may also choose to drive. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Travel-g154998-s301/Niagara-Falls:Ontario:Arriving.And.Departing.html

If you look at my reply you will see that I quoted you, so that is where I got it from. You priced this up for April, but you replied to someone that there are dates in February and March. No travel expert worth their salt would say this.
As regards luggage, Delta charge $25 for the first case and $35 for subsequent cases, you seem to have missed this out for the Buffalo - New York leg. If you're going to reply, best to check first. Here's some links.

You put some good European deals up but best avoid anything across the Atlantic.

This happened last week. People charged full price. Trying to cancel.
The T&C says £1500 min spend
I haven't tried this yet, but the code is still live here https://www.myvouchercodes.co.uk/lastminute.com - they look like individual codes so maybe worth trying a few to see if there is an error on some of the codes and check T&Cs
Doesn't work, says not valid as you go to pay and adds the £75 back on
You spoilt the surprise :( Heat added ;)

Never heard of this.Just been looking at the reviews. Think I will try this on my blonde hair as woukd prefer it to look more ash coloured.
thanks OP.
Bleach London is the name of the label. Silver is the colour. It neutralises yellow tones in the hair. What a bunch of idiots.
mymymy
if youve messed your hair up using bleach why would you want silver hair?

It helps banish brassy tones in blond hair also
Will this get the blood stains out of my carpet?

Booked with my wife for our first trip to the Greek islands, can't wait. Upgraded a few of the hotels but still came in at £999. Thank you for your efforts. We had no intention of going away but now can't wait :-)

Respect to your hard work finding the slickdeals for us. Thanks again.
if you do this and go to Naxos you have to go to the island of Koufonisi - amazing. also hire a car on Naxos and visit the south of the island. deserted beaches and pine tree fringes even in the height of summer.

Great work how much would it be as a solo adventure rach

well the ferry prices would be half the cost as would the flights. Accommodation is the tricky one as it may well be the same price if they haven't got single rooms and you are effectively paying the same price for 1 person as you are for two. Worth just amending the no of persons in each hotel and seeing if it is cheaper.
