Will COSTCO accept Amex for fuel supplies?
Feel they must as they promote it instore so
much.
Interested as opening on 5th November at
Avonmouth Branch.

'
There's nothing wrong with chadderton/Oldham thank you very much!!!
Can use the petrol station at hour it is open. No difference for trade use. Liverpool just 5 mins from me so I have been using for the last 12 months+ since opened. I seem to get higher mpg from this fuel.
they have loads of Costco 'gasoline stations' in LA
Gumpy Joe
Out of interest, are individual members allowed to use the pumps before 12 or after? You know, like their trade policy inside the store, or doesn't that apply here?

No problems, the earliest i've been is at 945am with my individual card and no problems.

great find thanks
Just to calm the fears of individuals without any knowledge that you would "get the sludge from the bottom free" a petrol storage tank has a pump stop level set way above from the bottom and will stop dispensing even when there is approx 1000lts still in the tank. This is to ensure tank bottoms are never brought through to the pump nozzles ensuring filters are not blocked and customers tanks are not affected. Logistics issues means that service stations suffer individual tank stock outs fairly frequently. This is when you see a couple of nozzles out of action but a grade still available on other pumps. A typical site has multiple tanks for each grade. Hope this bit of actual knowledge is more helpful than an ill informed baseless comment.

That's all of 2p/l cheaper than most places round here. I'll need to buy 600litres to offset the cost of driving up there.

Really! Wow, so most places near you are around the 125.9 p a litre mark? Where do you live? If that's the case, the rest of us are being seriously ripped off. Got mine from Sainsburys in Halifax yesterday (20 miles away from Oldham, FYI) and it was 131.9p a litre, according to petrolprices.com, the cheapest in my area.

I paid £1.34.9 for Diesel this week in Mansfield, was also that price in Derby last night on route to work.
Oh, voted hot by the way! Lucky sods.

Another good thing, if you run this through the Wii U HDMI output it looks absolutely stunning. Freed of the low-grade video output on the original console, the colours are deeper and more vivid and of course the whole thing runs smooth as butter.

Only problem is it makes you yearn for true Zelda HD :(
Another thing to note is that this game needs a motion plus attachment.
Good price, but worth knowing that if there's a blockbuster near you its £9.99.
That's a bargain, one of the best games for the Wii. :D

These deals are usually store allocated...the chicco London stroller that was £24 online was only reduced to £40 at my local asda living...I've wasted petrol driving down so many times when I see a deal in here that turns out to be store specific :(

so call up before you go!

Tried, they very rarely answer their phone

I don't think we get very good markdowns in Belfast on a whole....called in yesterday and EVERYTHING still normal event price....:(
i wish these places showed their stock online for their stores. would make life easy!

From a physiotherapist point of view, walkers can cause babies to learn to walk on their toes not flat feet which can cause lasting effects. No longer recommended by most health visitors either.

No, very nice. Although the Chase marmalade and Raspberry vodkas are top notch potato vodka
Thanks for the information.

I hope smooth doesnt mean bland like a lot of beers are.

http://www.legend-of-kremlin.com/files/itar_english.pdf

Vodka Legend of Kremlin is produced from the special grain spirit 'Lux' (containing 96,5% pure alcohol), soft water from Itar's own artesian well, with the addition of natural ingredients, giving vodka Legend of Kremlin a special taste and an unique refined vodka scent. Vodka Legend of Kremlin is bottled in the special carafe bottles.

Never had it before myself. Normally buy Chase Vodka, but this stuff is very smooth and very nice. At £16 I bought a couple of bottles and glad I did.

I wont by disheartened by negative comments. There seems to be a huge dislike of membership only stores and few brands like Apple, Microsoft to name a few. You can have a look at my profile, I have been a long term member and every post which was related to certain brands went cold like anything.
Keep up the good work, I like Costco, they aren't cheap but you end up getting premium stuff for same amount of money you would spend on regular products in other stores.

Thank you I need to go to costco anyway so it will save me a trip to sainsburys ;)

Now add £30 to join so £50 ish cold, cold, cold,

Because this is ALL you will buy during your membership. Silly comment. (_;)

The £15 deal for a 70cl bottle at Sainsbury's is actually cheaper (£21.43 / litre)

Oh I forgot the £10 of fuel to drive to one of the limited locations where these stores are based. £60 cold

So the whole population lives exactly £10 worth of fuel away (regardless of fuel/car), from their nearest Costco???

You obviously aren't a member, don't have one close to you, and are so stupid that you can't see the benefit of other existing Costco members seeing this deal.

I'm guessing you live walking distance away from all of the shops you use and your place of work?!

Well this was my first post won't bother posting again !!!

Don't throw your toys out the pram so quickly.

You just can't help some people no matter how hard you try. Costco deals are normally slated on here due to the fact that you have to be a Costco card holder to shop there and some people object to this. JD does work out cheaper at Sainsbury's however just now so it should be stated. Some of my Costco deals have been bashed due to the fact that it's Costco but if it helped some people who shop there all well and good.

Look forward to seeing your next deal X)

Wouldn't they also be if you bought them new and got your own (and your mate Dave's) drunken slobber on them?

No because the idea of doing karaoke in front of anyone but my girlfriend and even then after asubstantial amount of Morgans Spiced is unthinkable. The idea of singing alongside mate drunken Dave does not appeal i'm afraid. Despite his personal hygiene levels.

Anyone, I'm one of those freaks who carry antibac gel around and use it when I have just pushed a trolley in Sainsbury's because 80% of colds/flu are contracted with hand contact.

Been speaking to staff at my local stores lately and they said any likely bargains or good deals they will be keeping. Can't blame them, just look for remote stores that need to generate revenue as it looks like if they do stay afloat, the lowest income-raking stores will have to close.

I'm not too sure. It seems that in-house they're deluding the staff. The guy that served me told me that it was all media talk regarding the EA disagreement. I didn't want to bring up other evidence, i.e. share prices, but he seemed completely confident that they were going to stay afloat.

This was not a remote store. This was at Middlebrrok retail park. It does seem rather un-businesslike that when I was happy paying £2 for the wired mics, the manger came out and said "no, don't buy those. These scan at 98p and come bundled with a game".

I know it's only a pound, but if the company are that hard up, sure the mentality should be to get the customer to spend more.

I generally prefer reviews by AVForums & HDVTest, however, I doubt that they spend more than a day or two conducting tests.

Which? spend 6 weeks testing every TV. They are the benchmark for other review sites to aspire to.

Review... http://www.which.co.uk/technology/tv-and-dvd/reviews/led--lcd-and-plasma-tv/panasonic-viera-tx-p42gt30/review/

Score 60%

Pros: Great 3D TV picture, decent HD picture, easy to use, Viera Connect app store, BBC iPlayer app, good array of audio sockets, USB and SD slots support wide range of file formats

Cons: Relatively high power use, disappointingly muddled audio, uncomfortable 3D glasses, only one Scart, no PC connection

Great TV

Yes these were in the Middlesbrough town centre store, they were end of the aisle near the bakery, only 4 left, only had one wiper for brothers Focus (70p).
The local KwikFit want about £10 for these - can't see them selling many, apart from when they fail your MOT on a wiper!

They're good quality - always use these or Bosch.
Just got last ones at High Wycombe :)
Went to Sainsburys Oldham - marked up at various prices - the two I bought were marked as £1.69 and £2.49 (or thereabouts) but went through the till at £0.55p and £0.90p - very happy

Microsft Wired Keyboard £1.00 @ Tesco Extra in Oldham

Seemed a great price for an unbranded keyboard so for a Microsoft one I felt it was a really Hotdeal. There was a dozen or so on the shelf and it didn't seem to be a 'special offer price' as the…

Yep, thanks for the support!

Is it a bit strange to have been 'refreshing' all the time to see if the temp had gone up? :)

18 pence @ Armley, Leeds store :)
i got them delivered free,my protein does free delivery option now(with yodel)
ramiuk1

u wanna try the myprotien one,its really runny and yummy.
pretty much same price but u can get quidco from myprotein and earn points

No, I don't, not really. The one I posted is 99.5% peanuts and 0.05% salt - and 3.88/kg as opposed to myprotein's, which is 4.49/kg. Also, Amazon does free delivery, myprotein only does over 50 pounds. That would mean I would have to buy *12 kilos* in order to get free delivery! No thank you :D also, you can now get Nectar points with Amazon.

this is bad stuff folks which youi shouldnt eat.
this is alot better

http://www.myprotein.com/UK/products/peanut-butter

care to explain?

so i can have a laugh at how stupid people are they actually think the stuff myprotein sells is any different, the difference in ingredients is 5% at best

u cant be so stupid to ask that can you?

100% pure skin on peanuts crushed

vs

probably poor quality nuts mixed with sugar, salt and oil and added veg fat.

even the good brands with 97% nuts, palm oil and salt is nowhere near as good as natural pure peanut butter.

the stuff from my protein tastes so nice,i used to buy natures own organic(£2 for 300g ish,but have recently move to the natural stuff myprotein sells which is by far better and compared to the stuff in supermarket works out cheaper while being pure.

IMO nuts is nuts??? they all come from the same place?

Not only brown but all the pine needles will fall off aswell. In fact come to think of it the trees were so old that all that was left was a twig in a box.

"what on earth is an xmas tree doing on here in July!!!"

It's a fake.

So are you calling me a liar? I don't need a tree but every year people by loads of them at silly money. There are 5 in Oldham B&Q of the one in this thread for £10 each. Like it or not that is fact and the abuse is unwarrented. Vote cold because it is July if you want but the best bargains are stuff on sale out of season. Yes I was gobsmacked to see them but there they were and if anyone from the Oldham area wants one then they are on the left near the cafe were they put all the stuff they are dumping for peanuts

So you are maintaining that this is a real Christmas tree? It would go brown well before Christmas if it that were so.
danz1234
Bargain as in just over a month the shops will have all the Christmas stock out anyway. Usual begins appearing around the end of August/ early September.

I agree, I thought that was what HUKD was all about,
