Roof rack for the venerable Land Rover Defender, carry large cargo safely and free up valuable cabin space with a roof rack and top rail. ...
harlzter

The title suggests to me that is is the top rail, don't know where the OP gets the idea that the roof rack is included from. Searching online by part number just shows the rail too.

patrick_000

I ordered one for carrying a Thule box but now I think it’s the wrong thing. They’re a good company so I know they’ll swap it for the right thing if it’s not appropriate. Good deal.

.MUFC.

Since the new website update we've had the ability to change our usernames, once every 6 months I think it is. Just click profile>settings>change name. I guess with BMW being a more prestige brand you'll get better service but that's reflected in the price I guess. Although Ford clearly weren't in your case ;).

HaroFreestyler

:D yes it has perfectly working indicators, unlike the Audi drivers round here these days. ;) Had 4 BMWs now (Mrs has a 3 series as well) and the dealer we use is awesome, customer service levels that Ford need to adapt. Could do with changing my username, not sure if you can though.

Oneday77

Ford quite literally pulled your pants down and did you over. They had me in the past too. However once bitten twice shy as they say. Pad and discs are consumables. Pumps, sensors, reservoirs etc are not.

.MUFC.

Assume BMW? Does it come with indicators?. You could change your username on here btw ;).

It's not intended as an insult, it's just my opinion. Like I said before, there is far worse said on here over sillier things. I just seem to spend a large part of my life listening to parents complaining how their children have turned into little monsters 'after everything they have done for them & spent on them' until eventually I 'flipped' if you like and mentioned how it was going to happen all over again with these toy cars. It's not like a make a habit of it, I'm not a troll, I post on here enough for you to see that, so if I do choose to express my opinion even if it's different from yours, then that is my right.

We got the same spec ED4 2017 model Evoque from select car leasing in September last year for c£800 down (3 months) and £257 a month for 48 months. 6,000 miles p.a. but a low penalty for going over £199 broker fee I recall. It is a good car with leather seats, touch screen stuff, automatic braking, keyless etc etc. comes with metallic and nice alloys as standard. service interval is 2 years 24,000 miles and you can buy a service pack that covers all servicing for £499. overall we are very happy with the car, no problems. better than the Freelander 2 it replaced. it is a very nice car for the money and people are flabbergasted when we tell them what the monthly cost is. This is a similar deal.

damcnaught

Slightly cheaper with 8k miles here: http://www.vehiclesforbusiness.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/land-rover/range-rover-evoque-4x4/range-rover-evoque-diesel-hatchback-20-ed4-se-5dr-2wd-185809996 Total cost equates to £280 per month for the term - £13,451 total. £2103.93 inc VAT upfront £233.77 inc VAT per month for 47 months £360 inc VAT fee. Seems like a good deal, though warranty is only 3 years, so final year could be costly if anything goes wrong.

m5rcc

Yet you responded to solely to something that I wrote. It's almost as if you have nothing else better to do, Bertie.

m4rky2011

Sorry but I've got to say because there isn't a cheaper deal doesn't make this one good/hot !

Bertz99

You seem to have missed this bit I stated above "Your responses were so good until" That isn't quality - more a case of you setting yourself up on your pedestal, as normal when you encounter an opposing view, of how correct you are compared to someone else - of course keeping it objective, seeing the other views, rational, logical or even keeping any resemblance to reality goes out the window but we both know I am not the only one to see this - hopefully in the real world you have this issue more under control. continue the definition "or illicit a response" I am not requesting you to respond and the value I added (and achieved) wasn't for your benefit.

autocrazy

Typical of keyboard monkeys and trolls. The best form of defence is even more abuse and lowering of language. You have not been able to tell me I am wrong not in the least and my observations (not accusation) were based on your posts that had nothing to do with the deal, but a cheap shot at people who cannot speak or represent themselves. By the way you have yet to confirm if you are a guard at the country's entry gate or the fact that you should discuss In and Out on a site that only allows you to vote Hot of Cold. I was not in a competition on whether my post was popular or not - all I cared for whether I was confronting bent views that vitiate the otherwise nice forum. So all the best get few more of your friends and supporters to like your post - it does not make your views any more legitimate.

We have this and the 6v is fine for little ones. It drove around our garden in the summer with both kids 1 and 4 in and it didn't get stuck. We also take it out on the pavement when walking our dog- I don't find I need to slow my walking pace for the car to keep up so the speed is more than adequate and much safer for under fives.

Me.really

I am in the Motor Sales industry as well, 33 years. I even ran my own dealership twice. Maserati are generally pits of endless pain...infact i would say they are only good for blowing your cash very quickly. A total impulse purchase in every sense. Don't get me wrong, they are a thing of beauty, the first time i turned one over and heard that ROAR......WOW! .......But would i spend real money on one..NO! The BMW Z8, is a prime example of even the big boys can push a dog out of the door. The Evoque is a similar money pit, the servicing is horrendous, the engines are a bit behind the times, ( yes i include the "NEW" ingenium as well). It may be worth getting a lease one, if you have a necessity to park it on your suburban drive for the neighbours to look at, but would i buy one with real money?..er NO!

brookysm

I'm in the industry idiot! Have been for over 20 years! What miss information have I posted eh? 1 model that's nearly 40 years old, how many owners has Maserati gone through since eh? What about all the tosh they have put out, where's the value in them eh? What's a 3200GT worth compared to other Luxury GT's? They are worth less than an equivalent year and mileage Boxter ffs..... Btw, how much is a BMW Z8 worth these days?...

tallphilc

Again clueless! Any large cars loses money, look at M5 Prices, Look at XK8 prices (5k for a 1998 car). Look at any large NA engined car and it will lose value and then good examples will appreciate in price. 2 years ago you could but a Ferrari 360 for 30k, it is only because people are turning to cars as an investment that prices are rising. It is a better option to put money into cars than in savings and that has helped the market. Ok so to put your theory to test let's look now at 1967 Ghibli prices which are at £250k! Yeah that's depreciation right there, whilst they won't be expensive as Ferrari's because the sheep don't follow them they are a true icon of design and quality. I've been in the car industry for years, you are preaching to the wrong fella about all this so quit while you are losing now. You've already been picked up in this thread for mis-information so why continue to dig a deeper hole?
