What is the best way of checking this? I'm logged in and when I click the link it says congratulations offer activated?

I don't need to buy anything from EBay at present, but have had this email. What I would like to know is it enough to just convert the nectar points to an ebay voucher to get the 50% nectar points back and then spend your nectar eBay voucher within the year expiry date on these vouchers? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Worth a try for me, I'm more likely to spend the money on eBay than sainsburys or argos and if I get the bonus too too then great! Vouchers valid for 12 months too. Thanks op

Heat from me

Yeah I get the activated offer even when I sign in, but I'm not risking it without an official email, I don't wanna waste points for no reason

The most backwards bank I've ever used. I've never phoned a company so much.

They have a 30 months at 0% balance transfer card, with a 0.55% fee. So it's not as good because of the small fee but the service I've got with virgin is so much better, and with the higher credit limit, its really relieved some finances for me! :D

Is this the one that has 29 or 30 months interest free on purchases and do the purchase have to be made within the initial (3month ?) period?

I got limit of £9k, that sorts out my finances. Thanks

The process to apply for one is ridiculous. i sent my documents off a week ago and I’ve received a letter again today asking for the documents again to be sent to them. copy of passport and council tax bill was what I sent in. the copy has to be signed on the same page not the back of the document. god knows why Sainsbury’s have this archaic process. I’ve had many credit cards in the past and never had to jump through them hoops.

They haven't done for two years now (ie they didn't last year and haven't this year). Seems it's a once a year thing now.

Up to 200 points. Isn't that only worth £1..? Not the best offer, but better than nothing if you want to buy something anyway. Could combine with TCB £15+ spend for £2.50 cashback bonus.

Yes and I also emailed them but no response surprise surprise.. 😣

Did you activate the offer?

Any missing points i get in contact with them on twitter. They've always sorted it out there and then.

My bad...

Thanks. Just loaded to mine

They are of you use the double up deals. I save mine until the end of the year, and use towards the inevitable new gaming releases in November.

The point really is if you were shopping anyways then benefit from whatever you can potentially get back - its not the other way around i.e. don't shop because you potentially get some nectar points :)

Just got my 5000 points! :)

Why have I not got any of these offers? My Nectar app never has eBay ones.

yes, maximum you will get back is 5000pts.

Thanx Speculator. Do I understand correctly that the maximum number of points you can get back (the 50%) is 5000 please?

If you've not received the email invite, you're not included. I am going to convert 10,000 pts to get the maximum 5000 pts. (effectively £25 off £50 spend)

yes it is harder to collect any decent amount of points now,but if you have been collecting points for 6 years you have defo missed the boat cos there were quite a few ways to collect a decent amount of points,ad points was one,the last double up i had enough points to get a £39.99p microwave for 1p and a £40 1tb hard drive for nothing

Am I the only one that thinks Nectar is total crap? Compared to Clubcard points, for example, the amount you get is so low that it's not even worthwhile for me. Using it at every opportunity I've managed to gather the princely sum of £4.15 in about 6 years.

Ok thanks for letting me know

40000 nectar point worth £210 for £2000 spend

I did this about 18months ago. 40000 nectar total, no fee in year 1, £25 in year 2. It’s an offer run roughly every 18-24months

I got mine in October when nectar were adding an extra 10k points and I know before an extra 20k was available, may be only visible if logged into nectar and account specific?

I kept my card after the 1st year with no fee by accepting a higher level of interest. I had to contact Amex to arrange this.

The 20,000 bonus nectar points is the standard offer. Sometimes they did send an email offering 40,000 to specific people. This offer posted isnt actually available

Do nectar points even carry much value these days? Surely TCB or quidco will be a better option.

This is Nectar points instead of cashback, from sites like Quidco or Topcashback. You need to weigh up which one is better, including double ups.
