I highly doubt it as that would mean you get 50x points ( 5 x10 ) Offers usually cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers

Will this stack with the 10x at Sainsbury's?

Pretty good offer - spotted it myself a few days ago. Am I the only one who really hates the fact the Nectar members still have to load offers such as this to their card? Surely it should just be automatic.

25% of your Nectar Points back when you redeem at Argos. Email invite only?

Sell them on eBay - I have seen money off vouchers selling for like half the discount they give - crazy people!

Only one of the accounts has ever offered up vouchers, but they come pretty much every month so no real need to worry on that score. If I'm honest, I find sainsburys so expensive that when with the vouchers, it's not much different to the regular prices elsewhere. Plus I get vouchers for Tesco too...

Don't do it! Keep the three separate & use one until one of the others get money off vouchers in the post, use that one until one of the others gets vouchers, etc. You can get £4 off £20, £6 off 30 or £8 off £40.

Nice one

Does anyone know if Sainsbury’s double up points around Christmas? Trying to work out the best way to spend mine and I’ve not had an Argos email.

when are we meant to get the 10 bonus points? it said at the end of the week, but i haven't received anything, there is no minimum spend right, since all i did was by a meal deal twice this week, and just got my normal 3 points each time.

tell a lie... it is in there and activated... fingers crossed that they give us a better friday deal though

seems to be account specific. No offer for me :( plus no birthday offer... and it seems to be the fist time in weeks that we don't have a quick Friday deal... and I need to buy a big ebay purchase (laptop) today... can't delay it as I'm giving back the one I borrowed over the weekend!

I remember how amazing the Nectar scheme used to be. Now its just trash. To be honest Im probably saving more money anyway having switched to Lidl

Yeah I spoke to them via live chat. Said the same as they did to you although 28 days.

Called them today and had to raise a claim for the missing points, which they tell me will be added within 14 days elapsed, so I have diarised. When raising the claim, you need to supply purchased date of item(s), purchase amount and EBay item number. Will update when status changes. Watch this space.

No, so I’ll be chasing up after the weekend (too busy this week). Will report back once resolved.

Have you recieved your bonus points yet?

If you wanted to gain NEW bonus points, yes. I was referring to the 28 day delay between acquiring them and receiving them, during which time they show in EBay as bonus points.

Seems to be account specific, trouble is impossible to check on Nectar site due to infuriating verify picture block! (mad)

Me too, I think it's another one that's more account specific than previous offers. OP should mention that in the description. I get, Sorry, this offer is no longer available, why not check the latest offers we've selected for you? when I go through Nectar

Not coming up for me, even in the deals section on eBay site. I did get the 8x last week though so maybe not eligible for this promotion.

I just got the email about it from nectar :S There should be one like this each Fri-Sat for two more weeks.

Damn it, forgot it ended at 12pm. Will there be another one before the end of the month

Reading the terms and conditions this is to a maximum of 300 points - which is worth... what, a few quid?

What a joke eBay UK, how about you give us a nice 10-20% of all items instead of rubbish like this pffftt. Added heat though for the poster.

When these offers go through and say they're activated, they normally work, but same for me, as in when I go to checkout it's not applying the bonus points (annoyed)

Same here:/ Offer activated OK but Checkout shows normal number of points:/

They do but usually on eBay it tells you what you will get including bonus. Mine didn’t do that.

says activated but just gives normal points, Nothing about this offer on Nectar or eBay to confirm this, voted cold as it does not work. (skeptical)

Ebay never send me nice emails, hopefully I'll get this one, but not as of yet.

Got the email which came from eBay and not Nectar, so maybe a eBay promotion. It is not on the nectar website offer. But no where either in the email or T&C does it say how many points you will actually get, just up to 500 points. So you could get just 1 point.

Never received emails from Nectar/ebay

The last time I got this I ended up with almost another 10 pounds worth of bonus points which may have been a glitch and maybe why I haven't received the email this time lol.

Heres direct link

is it just me. But I cannot find the normal leaflet online for week commencing 29/6? I get some tabs(which is new) at the top of the page which show non-food goods, but I can't find the food offers.. ?

Only problem I can recall with Aldi is carrots, and that's only because they're past their best at this time of year anyway and tend to rot rapidly. I've seen some horrendous fruit in Lidl, but then, I've seen the same in Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Morrison. It's usually down to bad handling and /or poor stock rotation. The great thing about self service is you can look for the good stuff if necessary. Don't buy stuff that's ready to eat unless you're ready to eat it and you wont go far wrong. Slugs in spuds are as old as spuds, and almost impossible to spot during packing. Solution is to buy Harmony potatoes. They're resistant to just about all known pests - even nematodes. There is, however, a downside. They're vile to the point of being inedible.

Lidl is my main go to shop. I love the whole experience. It's just the fruit especially things like apples, pineapple tends to go off quicker than when I buy from other retailers it certainly not how I store it. And had small slugs on my bagged potatoes. It's probably has to be how it's stored out the back or something.

Yeah appalling that you clicked the link that kind people in here provided and believing offer was activated for you but no...and they even gave me lame excuse of there would have been an expiry date somewhere (which can’t be found with on app or link above or the whole T&C). Good reason I only use Nectar unless there is no alternatives for the extra bit of perks/points - that’s after me being a victim of having all my points wiped out by thieves.... supermarket loyalty schemes are getting less and less attractive these days.

I've picked up on a few via HUKD where I've had the email but missed it, it's useful

I partly agree, but it can be useful in case you've missed the email. Same for things like O2 Priority and Wuntu - I don't bother checking the apps until someone posts here, because I know the good stuff will get posted here.

Just don't get the point of posting these invite only deals, if you're invited you get the email, you don't need to be told on here too. What you are doing more than anything else is telling most of us we're not invited to something we didn't know we weren't invited to (skeptical)

Is that not just selling promos (e.g. £1 fvf...etc), rather than this, which is a purchasing promotion?

Should have heeded your warning. Have been trying for 2 weeks to make my first purchase using this card and every time it's been declined! Complaint submitted (not wasting more of my time on the phone to them) and depending on outcome likely to escalate further. I've almost lost an entire month of the 28 interest free months which is why I took out the card in the first place (fierce)

I took one out for 20 months last year in October. Had a limit of £3000 as requested which they increased to £3500.

HATE Sainsburys Bank. Applied for a 0% card, got approved, then was asked for documents. I sent them in and they kept refusing them and asking for different ones. In the end I told them to forget it and close the account. Waste of a credit search.

I went for one about 2 years back with a similar deal. I can’t say I’ve had any transactions declined though (although I’ve made rather few on it - just a couple of extravagant purchases) and the highest credit limit of the three credit cards I have. No banking app though and the website is a little naff. Nectar points on the majority of purchases though I believe. Only things excluded are things such as insurance premiums and such like if I remember correctly.

I found this too. I got declined twice in one day - each time I have to call and sit on hold while I tried to get put through to the right department

Ok, thanks for the informative reply!

depends on your existing policy (eg if it had 10 years left, would the premiums on a new 10 year policy be more or less?), but in general I suggest you do NOT cancel your existing policy - just take this one out and cancel after 5 months. Also, as a rule, you shouldn't cancel an existing policy until you have had confirmation that the new policy is in place
