Not me, just nectar if anything happens. It’s not like money it’s not protected in the same way.

What would you do that will make it disappear and what is the best option for me

I would do something with those before they “vanish”

Yes I know, we need as many points as we can, I hope I have enough points

Having issues, changing dates not being specific on how to redeem, not loading to card offers. Nectar offers are really are getting on my thrupney bits.

Go in store and top up a gift card as they had an offer last week of £5 extra credit in £25 as it might still be running

Thank you for the post, saved to my card.

This one appeared a few weeks back I believe. I have one card with 10% off, another with 5% on purchases over £7 as someone else has had. Which to use (lol) ?! Good idea to purchase a gift-card to maximise the use over time.

Not on mine. Just the usual 5% back when spening £7 or more.

I do believe the warning signs were there.

Damn !! What a royal Mess this has been.. A Lesson to myself not to get overly excited!! 10 pounds now stuck on Ebay.

Redeem at least 500 points at Sainsburys or argos. Recieve mystery bonus amount back. Redeem from the 16th to 23rd.
Get dealGet deal

The amount given is an equal share of the 15million pts divided by the number of people that participate. If 30,000 people do it, each will get the 500 pts spent back as the bonus. If more do it, everyone will get less than the amount spent. It’s better for everyone who does it if fewer partake. Ive voted cold as the deal is better if people don’t know about it

Me either :( Thanks though, because I did look at My Nectar page and found lots of coupons I didn't know about. Okay, I can't actually use any of them, but at least I know they exist now, lol

that depends on the rest of the deal description/t&cs. We can't comment for sure when you only post a snippet like that

I've got the opposite. My nectar offer says: * Shop at Sainsbury's in-store or online and swipe your Nectar card Do you guys know if I can buy in a Sainsbury's local instead, which is what I've got around, and collect the points?

Sainsbury's LOCAL!! I've had this on my Nectar account for about 6 mths, keeps coming back, keep loading it to my card but haven't been into one yet. None near me that's why. Perhaps next week I'll be somewhere where there is one. Knowing my luck it will be on day after it expires. Re Nectar ALWAYS, ALWAYS check you pts have been awarded. I've lost count of the ones not loaded. Just keep a printscreen of deal offer for proof. ;)

Ah there are different offers that are account specific. Mine is 100 points on each of next 10 shops.

The points for purchases on referral website visits is probably defeated by modern browsers increased privacy - not allowing cross site tracking or tracking altogether, plus do not track me settings and DDPR compliance.

If the seller offers a discount eg 5% off when you buy 2 items, would this discount still work if you pay with converted Nectar points?

Convert your Nectar points to eBay vouchers in 500 point increments up to 5,000 points, until 5 December 2018

When does this expire is my question.....

To people worried about stolen Nectar points - call them up, get yourself (well, someone else with the same name as you) added as a secondary card holder. Ask them to block spending points on that secondary card. Leave your primary card at home, and take it only when you plan to spend.

Fair enough! I love mine - yeah it has limitations, but for £300 it's not half bad :-)

I was a little concerned due to their policy saying unused items can be refunded no questioned asked in 30 days. But I did hint to their member of staff that I think it could be faulty. Managed to blag a full refund just now. Fair play to the Argos team. I can see why some enjoy VR. But until the resolution and FOV gets a big boost and the elimination of god rays/screendoor/focusing issues are sorted. Then I won’t be back in VR for a while. 👌

I only notice God rays when games are loading, like a white title on a black background. Supersampling can help with resolution if your pc can handle it. VR games can be pretty expensive but I'd just add games you're interested in to your wishlist on steam. Vr games on steam and oculus store can be heavily disconnected over the holiday season. Batman Arkam VR is £4 on cdkeys atm which is worth a shot. Also flight simulators and racing games tend to negate the fov issue for immersion as your vision would be restricted by a helmet anyway.

Be interested to see how you get on - Argos can be a pain for taking stuff back, usually you will have to have a technical call with the manufacturer first.

I’d like to try it. Just can’t justify buying these games when I just cannot get over the poor resolution, poor FOV, the screen door effect and those god rays! It just does nothing for me other than leave me dissatisfied. Just normal 4K gaming for me is much more visually pleasing. So I think I will return my unit. Like the PSVR I had, I feel like we are a couple of generations away from me enjoying VR sadly 😩

Not fit for purpose. Bought one like this from a Chinese run shop on holiday last summer. Son dropped it same day on a hard floor and there were pieces all over the place. I'd avoid this.

Hahaha this plays the same tune,i kid you not.Well at least the one we purchased in Portugal did. Dare i say it but i was glad it broke before the end of the holiday, sadly the yapping fooking puppy lasted ALL the way home, which included the delay at the Faro airport ! I have never known cheap Chinese batteries to last so bloody long.

I think you mean in the comments someone says “it is large and long and wide wing span” and that’s all we need to know, really (lol) (lol) (lol)

2 points normally. You get quadruple points instead, so 8... Or your original 2 plus 6 additional points... Same thing

quad=4..+ 2 points = 6...But after it says additional 6...but 6 it is not they say quad=4x..after they say additional 6 :)) A bit mixed up here

also worth nothing code special30 which is apparently an "invite only" 30% off code. valid till tomorrow max discount £30

8 points per spend... it’s additional not instead of 😋 The clue is the word ‘quadruple’ :)

This is hot, people just don't understand the post. Maybe change the headline price to £15

If not having nectar means paying the £49.99 RRP I'd be with you on that comment, but not having nectar means buying it under £30 from other retailers instead, so I wouldn't vote hot, but I haven't voted cold either in this instance

Thanks for the heads up, just got one today in the double up. Great freebie!
