I wouldn't have bought a pair if they weren't this cheap, worth a gamble for me personally. they feel great under my feet I gotta say.

It's good to know they perform well, it's just the historic Crank Bros reputation for 1) pedals that fall apart after a while and 2) awful customer service, which I'm not keen on trying. Helps that I only ride flats though.

Was looking for the Thrustmaster TX but the cheaper one has cheaper pedals and the reviews say the wheel is cheap too... Have just ordered the version of this for the Xbox, G920? Pedals look good quality and the wheel seems well made too. Won’t fit my wheel stand though.

Oh I forgot to mention re the brake pedal. I haven't tried the software but I just calibrate mine to 40% resistance which feels about the same as really jumping on the brakes in my car. At 80% I am tipping my chair backwards pushing down really hard. It has bedded in a bit as I had to calibrate it at around 30% at first. This wheel replaced a Thrustmaster TMX which lasted 8 days before the rumble motor gave up. The TMX had stronger force feedback but the Logitech feels smoother and the firm brake pedal feels a lot more realistic when using.

The only thing that had put me off this is it being belt driven as id imagine the belt would ware out whereas against a geared wheel it would really come down to you being rough with it to break it. Just my thoughts tho

Belts can be replaced - gears, once broken or worn-out, are nowhere near as easy to replace - horses for courses.

This actually uses both anyway, so I'd not worry too much ;0

This is a great deal >IF< you want 3 pedals as most wheels at this price point only have 2 - the pedals are also better than you'd normally get for this money but the wheel isn't the best as the FF can be a bit slow to respond (makes drifting less fun for sure) AND it's a BIT small in diameter (rim and overall) IMO

£150 is bargain-basement for wheels tho - something has to be compromised I guess?

I bought this wheel before christmas for £130, but im not that impressed to be honest. Unless you prepared to spend more time messing with the FFB settings than paying the game, that I wouldn't bother. The only games I tried that works well is Porject cars. I think these will be really good for the money as normal flat spiked pedals are this price and these will in theory be a better spec of lightness vs strength... If you need new pedals.
I have flat spiked pedals and they are heavy and robust. Won't crack on a rock and tend to hold you in place without getting into the whole clipless thing...which when offroad I am happy to stay with this type.

Insane deal for all keen cyclists out there looking for a top class power meter
While checking the Halfords discount T&Cs on the BC website earlier I noticed there is a 20% off Verve InfoCrank sets, meaning the original £1,149 price comes down to £919.20. No idea how long that's been on there though.

OK, that's a good bit more than these Vectors but you're getting Praxis crank, BB & chainrings instead of just a pair of pedals. If you were looking to replace them anyway then it becomes much more competitive.

It also seems to come with a much better reliability record than the Garmin pedals, and they appear to be innovating with things like removing the dependency on magnets via a firmware update.

I'm not in the market now but would seriously consider this if I was. Only major downside is it's obviously only a single bike solution.
Garmin have dropped the retail price of these down to 899, so discounts will go as deep at this deal or lower from now on I'd imagine.

http://www.triathlonbusiness.com/2016/industry-news/garmin-vector-offers-power-to-the-people-with-price-drop/

Looking at Stages myself, they review great for a single sided meter.

Yes the pedals will fit both road and MTB chainsets. You will need SPD compatible cycling shoes to go with the pedals.
Are the fixings standard fire road bikes? I'd be wishing to use these with my triban 3, if any if the pro cyclists could advise would be appreciated.
Unclipping is easy with systems now in the days gone bye had shoe plates and clip and straps,so had lean down to loosen the strap and then lift your shoe out of the pedal slot. That was especially fun with a fixed wheel bike.
Mind last summer had a Look cleat come loose that jammed ,had to use my right foot to unmount with the left one still in pedal.
