Loved Space Assault game mode, wish they'd bring something like that to today's games Also loved the similar game mode on battlefield 2142 back in the day Today's multiplayer games lack interesting game modes IMO

While you're waiting, there's an unofficial remaster mod by these guys (check their channel for latest updates):

One of my favourite games of all time. Wish they would make a graphically remastered version of this.

For anyone wondering, the player base is pretty higher still. Takes on average 30 seconds to a minute to find a match.

Correct, but that was not really in question here. Anyway I get the difference. With physical you own the stuff, have the right to resell - BUT it clutters up your home and you have to faff about, inserting discs, cartridges and what have we like in the last century. Owning digital - easy access, well until the store goes offline or until you say something the company doesn't like and they delete your account. Still some people like owning digital, for instance because they don't have time or interest in 100 games others decide you can play and when you can play. Game Pass is good value for some, but crap for others, so Game Pass is not automatically the better deal.

Owning digital and physical are two different things also.

I came here to find one of these usual "get GamePass" comments - and what do you know.? - The first comment I see. Own and rent - it's two different things.

Agreed, there's really no point in owning any of these 3 games long-term. Even the most devoted player will exhaust them all inside of 6 months, and if you do ever decide to come back to them in a few years time they'll cost pennies 2nd hand.

Exactly. Then people can buy a £9.99 game and post this picture right after.:

I wouldn't personally call over £20 for two games previously given away for free as "value for money" but each to their own. The "cheapest available right now" argument does stand and I'd agree with you there, however compared to previous offerings it's still very poor overall. Nice to see someone has benefited from some of the lower prices though (y)

Totally disagree, I brought WorldWarZ GOTY edition and it was the cheapest I could find it anywhere, also another game which I think was Just Cause 4 complete edition and again the cheapest I could find it anywhere.

Thanks for posting. Your thread has made it to our Highlights pages (highfive)

Last £10 voucher offer Epic reduced a game I wanted by £2 to under the qualifying threshold so wasn't valid. As soon as the voucher scheme stopped it went back up. Like a lot of these things they are rigged (Argos Black Friday for example!) so the discounts are either unavailable or not really the full "£10".
