I think the game must be tongue in cheek... as the point of Jesus was to die wasn't it? Do you win if you fail to keep Him alive?
isn't Jesus meant to be the saviour?

There aren't any reviews yet for this game that was released today, and I doubt all the voters have played it, so there must be some transparently-thin skinned people here.

Sadly, that's what kinda tends to happen when most things 'Biblically' related tends to get thrown into the fore here, so ..... (don't be surprised?)

Though I must admit, it is a WEIRD storyline mind? (like life imitating art or something?), what can I say ...

If the claimed equivalent wattage is only 12w for 3w consumed, these are incredibly inefficient for LED.

Indeed - I do wonder how much it's just the influence of the glossy TV adverts.

Are these really any better than the cheap own-brand dishwasher tablets?
It's subjective I suppose. Finish would say yes. I find the all-in-one tablets very good. The Quantam range is probably taking it too far though.
Equally, I've used shops own many times and found them adequate.

I doubt you would be able to get a turkey that feeds 5-7 people for under £30 with all the trimmings. Unless you buy the meat from someone that doesn't take animal welfare seriously

Hi guys, it's also worth noting that they offer 50% discount on luggage for kids.
So if you are travelling with kids make sure you put the hold luggage against their reservation as it's half price!
I thought the discount only applied when paying full for the travelling adult. ie 50%off on second luggage if traveling with a child
I think that's supposed to be the case (no pun intended!) but when i travelled in May we put two cases against the kids and it went through fine at half price. Was expecting to get charged extra at the airport but didn't. I also just did a dummy booking and it let me proceed to payment with one bag against a child.

These are actually really, really good for the price. I bought the 12W version for about £4.50, and it is outperforming every other LED bulb in the house (some of which are pulling 20W+). Rated lumens is 1200, and I have to say this seems conservative to me.

They have a good weight to them as well, which suggests a decent heatsink inside.

Voted cold, I believe charity starts at home. We need to look after British people first. There are people in this country who are homeless or need to rely on food banks. I would rather donate to British charities than see my money go abroad, the UK already donates massive amounts of money to foreign countries. Before anyone asks no I don't
"Charity begins at home."
With all due respect, that's an utterly vile phrase that gets repeated by people who've had it passed down from above and don't even question what it actually means.
My ability to recognise suffering in a fellow human being is universal. It isn't determined by whether they're standing next to me, across the street, in the same country or around the other side of the world - we are all human beings and feel pain the same - so if someone needs help, and I can help them, then I'll help them. Borders be damned.
I am fully aware what it means, you look after your own first. I would not have an issue with sending money abroad if there wasn't poverty in this country.

I know what you think it means. If you think "You look after your own first," then tell me why. And then tell me where you draw the line - because assuming you live in England (as do I), then if there was a campaign in Scotland I strongly suspect you'd have a problem sending money there too, because they're not English. And then perhaps if it was in the next city, it'd be "No, there's still poverty in my town. You look after your own first."

If someone is in need, their need is there whether you close your eyes to it or not. Many (but not all) of the homeless on British streets are there by choice - the victims in Nepal didn't ask for the earthquake. Many (but not all) of those in poverty in our poorer areas could improve their lives if they wanted to - most people in the third world don't ask to be ruled by corrupt dictators and can't do much about it. If you want a selfish reason for foreign aid, it's in our security interests to make sure these countries survive instead of being taken over by fundamentalist regimes. And further down the line, if/when they get on their feet, they'll be our trading partners which furthers our own interest.

So with all due respect, I think your approach is a highly simplistic one which when you think about it fully, doesn't stand up to scrutiny and makes you appear small-minded and uncaring when I'm sure that you're not.

Our planet is facing disasters both natural and man-made on a global scale and that means we're all under threat. If you only think nationally and selfishly, then we are all, in every country at the same time, going to be screwed.

Donate to the right people. 3rd world countries often don't get what donations are given, if the government donates, they expect that country to pay back (in other means possible). All those big charities have massive cuts to your donations (you just need to check what the directors are earning - Excess of over £100,000 per year). THINK, RESEARCH AND DONATE!! THANKS
I don't have a problem with this. If you give the CEO 100k and (s)he makes the charity 1% better, that can be many millions more made for charity and thousands more lives saved. 100k is nothing. That person could probably get 3x that in another job.
There is plenty of research and improvements being made in the corruption space. Perhaps you should look into Give Directly as a charity you could get behind?

So if the deal was to give towards UK food banks then you would vote hot?
When I vote on deals it's not because of my ideology it's whether I think it's a good deal or not.
Remember 120 Britons recently returned from Nepal, some received help from relief workers.
Also this post has nothing to do with politics either!
I know it's not about politics, I only mentioned UKIP as what I was saying sounds like something Farage would say. I only give to charities that look after British people. I think that's fair enough.
You realize the money you give can also go to the foreigners living in the GB? :)

redacted trolling? eh!?

Toys & pram spring to my mind ;)

Anyway, thanks for taking the effort to originally post it OP :)

How's this for a simple no-brainer?

Got a spare £84 to save for 30 days?

Want to know how to double it up to £168?

Save £84 with Scottish Friendly for 30 days and Topcashback out of their own pockets will give you £84 Topcashback!!

Surely this has to be one of the best no-risk cash deals ever?!

Don't forget, it's Topcashback who are backing this deal from their own funds so with their fairness policy there's virtually no risk (Though read the T&C carefully and watch out for any deductions or penalties that apply for withdrawing your savings early), just read and follow the T&C and claim your free £84 TCB!

After 30 days your TCB is cleared and good to go, so you'll get your £84 back and have £84 savings in a Cash ISA for you to withdraw later, if you can afford to wait for your cash this is surely a great deal?

So if you've got £84 sitting idle and you'd like to turn it into £168 just click the link.... what are you waiting for?

Forget the Chocolate Egg this Easter, get yourself a fat £84 free cash-money!!

Read the comments- there are a lot of caveats. You are committing to a five year ISA investment.

Expired because people won't read T&C and bemoan everything.
That's no reason to expire it.
No, but tedious and all to frequent HUKD trolling was a reason not to post it and since I can never get my time back, at least I can prevent any further detriment.
This is the reason people don't post as many truly quality deals any more. They're sick of the ungrateful trolling masses.
So if you want somebody to blame, blame the trolls.

Yeah fair enough. Couldn't agree more, used to be good deals all the time, but now you can't sort the wheat from the chaff... shame not all humans are like us, eh? ;)

I think Nemeus comment and their sad face tells it all quite well. They posted it and it was moved, you posted afterwards and it stayed. The right thing to have done was to make sure that the first post made by Nemeus was reinstated not post on the back of theirs. Just my opinion and certainly not something I would have done to a fellow contributor.

Did I know that it was posted and moved beforehand? No.
Is it my fault that it was moved? No.
Do I have the power to re-instate? No.
And you clearly did not read my reply to you, I did not post on the back of anyone - I saw his post AFTER I posted.

Like I said, i've done nothing wrong, yet you seem to be treating me like i've done so.

check out the guide & other documentation on the webste - I know, some things aren't immediately obvious.

basically you need to make sure the software recognizes the correct version of your album and look at New vs Original metadata before saving any changes. for example, albums from different regions have different song or bonus track arrangements

Good move Google. Now is there a way of displaying album names as a list rather than the awful tiles?
If only there was a way.... :(

Can anyone recommend a player for android that can stream music from Google Play accounts instead of the Google player?

"expensive purchase"?
It's not really....is it.
i have one of these, I struggled to get it to work with a lenovo yoga tablet - it would mount then disappear. it worked fine on my samsung tab 10.2 but what it's great for is a windows tablet, so quick and easy to transfer huge files from laptop to tablet and back.

Perfection Lumiere swatches (should have done this last night but I was getting sleepy :P)

Beige Ambre (44) (which translates to “Amber Beige”), are very warm and run in the medium skin tone range:

The Beige Rose (32) Shades are light to medium in tone. These shades are very slightly pinker than the Beige shades:

Beige (70) (had a bit of trouble finding 70 Beige but here it is for Perfection Lumiere Velvet, it will give you an idea. The rest of the pictures are for Perfection Lumiere):

Cosmetics Fairy are good too (recently bought Coty Airspun loose powder from there, it's considered something of a classic on the skincare/cosmetics forums but hard to get here), they have a £1 section and a few bargains crop up here and there.

Saveonmakeup have been around over 10 years! I first used them back in the days where internet retailing was just beginning to get popular and I'd just got broadband :)
Not quite my colours, but a great website to know about! You post some good deals!

LogicalHarm
is this legit?
I'm assuming as they are unboxed, they might be testers, but it doesn't say in the listing. I've bought items from Saveonmakeup for years with no problems.

Edit: From looking around at similar size/shaped bottles, they appear to be demo items. A full size bottle RRP £36-40 is 30ml.

Thanks for the info!

And all year long, every years you can also give to:

http://www.thea21campaign.org

https://cure.org/

http://www.tearfund.org/

http://www.bloodwater.org/

Or you can ignore the jumper and give 100% of the money straight to https://secure.savethechildren.org.uk
But i know that a lot of people want to show that they give to charity more than they really want to help the charity.

I actually give to 3 charity's for the whole year, every year. Each of my 3 children decides which one they would like to support and we talk about this so there is meaning behind the donation. The jumpers I could have bought from anywhere. I chose ASDA to support the cause they are promoting as an additional to this, not for the reason you have suggested above.

I appreciate your point but consider some of the genuine people who are not doing what you have implied. It comes across as a little harsh and a complete generalisation.

Completely agree. 6%, Forget the jumper.
And I hope the jumpers are made by factories who treat their employees fairly.

Plant Pot Water Savers - 25p @ Wilko Instore

Yes, another of the many amazing bargains to be found at Wilko while they clear out all their gardening products. Every time I buy something which is reduced, then go back a few days later, they have reduced the price yet again. The trouble is, if you leave it too long, the products sell out.

I noticed that this product doesn't actually say on it that the sticky label has to be removed for the holes to be exposed and for it to work. I bet lots of people buying this don't realise and leave the label on before covering it in soil, leaving it effectively useless.

Seemed quite common sense to me that it needed removing but everyone is different... the sticker was a massive PITA to remove though. :)

Haha I love this site. A kind person buying some weird posh looking salt for a cheap price thought they'd be kind enough to share it with the masses and as if like clockwork an argument starts. Bless you all.
I paid £1.99 for this the other day from B&M. I really like it, but using it more sparingly than regular table salt as it seems to have a bit of a kick. I would definitely buy more if I see it for less than a quid.
PS where iodised salt DOES have merit is in developing countries where people are unable to eat diverse diets.
"Normal" table salt does NOT have iodine added. You have to look for it - it's called iodised salt. For example I've just looked at ASDA and of a dozen or so salts, none of them appear to be iodised, but it's not hard to find eg this is at Sainsburys :

http://www.britstore.co.uk/photos/cerebos_iodised_salt_400g.jpg

I don't recommend it though. Increasing salt intake as not healthy, so it's bonkers to put dietary supplements into a foodstuff that causes life threatening diseases. Most salt is obtained through processed food anyway - where non iodised is used - so what's left doesn't make enough difference. It also means eating processed salt so you miss out on dozens of trace minerals. You are better getting iodine it from natural sources. If you eat milk, cheese, yoghurt, seaweeds (kelp, kombu, etc.), cranberries, strawberries, potatoes, vegetables grown in iodine-rich soil, you are getting enough iodine. Failing that take multivitamin tablets.

http://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletters/Harvard_Heart_Letter/2011/June/cut-salt-it-wont-affect-your-iodine-intake
