Yeh that's what I was thinkin, no other reason for it to stop!!

Think the hospital still has a small kids room full of toys n books!!
I should lend him my phone, in the right place if he drops it
UltimatePhoenix6 m ago

Ours used to but theres nothin for kids anymore, dont know why!!

Probably turn out to be "for Heath and Safety" reasons.

My local used to have toys and books in the waiting room, now the toys are in the consulting rooms and there is nothing for the children waiting; so I always take something for my daughter to do, a book, games on a phone etc.

Actually their website states 4x 1 minute flights is like doing 6 x 12,000 foot skydives from a plane!

1 min each??

1 minute is apparently equivellant to a parachute jump from a plane at 12,000 feet, so I guess it is like doing 2 jumps each without the scary drop out of a plane! I bought two vouchers (8 1 minute flights) as they are half price, so I have 4 jums in total per voucher. If anyone can find these cheaper than what I bought these for, then hats off to you. £49 plus 10% off Debenhams voucher code = £44.10, plus Quidco 5% cashback again on that, means I only paid about £41.90 for the usual online price via the ifly website of £72 per person. So I do feel this price is really good value for 2 people.

Where is the location?

Milton Keynes is where I will be going to do it. Used to be called Airkix, but run by a different company now, which I belive has multiple locations around the country, including Basingstoke and Manchester too. iflyworld.com/fin…el/
Never ever buy from activity superstore...!

Read the reviews online - after 14 months of trying to redeem a hotel stay (i couldnt do it..) i swapped for something else. Now i cant redeem that either (unless i do the actuvity on a monday afternoon!)

Awful awful company. Truly terrible.

Honestly - just not worth it. Check with the venue before you buy.

Voted cold - not for the price... but i can guarantee you can buy the gift experience - but using it will not be a pleasant or straight forward experience.

(I’ve given activity superstore 14 days to refund me in full or i go to boots and then trading standards... google their reviews before you buy..)

You can unlock the front wheel so that it disconnects from the handle bar and you simply push it like a pushchair with full control over the steering - pushing slightly harder on the left side turns to the right and vice versa. If the front wheel is locked, you can still turn it the same as in the unlocked mode (but the handle bar will also turn). I tend to leave it locked so that my son can steer where he wants to go. We tested the Smart Trikes out in the shop, but i found the Galileo's steering to be easier, the handle and the rest of the trike also felt a lot more solid.

Thanks for the info
jdRiggs29th Jan

If the parent handle is fixed how do you steer it when pushing it along?

Consider if your child will take to this before splurging. Grandparents bought for our little one and was waste of money (and added to clutter)

She preferred the push chair when she wasn't as mobile or lazy. And once she was mobile enough to enjoy the "cycle" she much preferred the lighter more manoeuvrable scooter. IMO the problem with these is there's nowhere to comfortably put your feet when the kids are really just playing at riding (and you're doing all the work). And when they cross that line to being able to do the work for themselves, these are too big and cumbersome for them. So they prefer the scooter (or just a basic barebones trike) and then they're never coming back to this when they get to the size/strength that they can really utilise it properly.

Can anyone advise on steering difficulties with fixed parent handle. I think I remember reading a negative review about this in the past but I'm having difficulty finding any reviews about this trike.

Thanks for this. Did the gruffalo one last year and the kids loved it so will give this one a go.
Thanks, we've done gruffalo ones in the past, it's a nice way to get the kids outside for a walk. Agree you don't need the packs, at my local one it almost takes longer to divert to the centre to get the pack than do the highlights of the walk itself.
I took my two boys yesterday to the one in Hertfordshire, don't bother buying the activity pack, take some crayons and paper for the posts where rub marking is required. Great fun jumping in the mud puddles. Parking was £1.70 for two hours, plenty of time with two kids under 3
