By now I don't need to tell you that the new Alfa Romeo Giulia has won numerous car of the year awards and beats the German competition hands down in most head to head reviews. I … Read more

I have also had the Mazdas, Mitsu, Minis x 4 and I can say honestly they are all as reliable as each other. We have now had the Veloce for 3 months and its just a stunning car and a pleasure to drive. We have it on a two year deal and I truly believe we will have another one (like the 159s we loved). You only live once so why not have an Alfa, ALWAYS brings a smile to my face when I get in it.Enjoy

Buying a family car is a fairly binary choice, either buy a dull car or buy an Alfa

I think people are talking about post warranty work.

I don't care what Which or What Car say about how reliable they are after that warranty expires it's like jumping out of a plane without a parachute!I know this isn't completely relevant but I used to have an Alfa 155, when it needed new spark plugs (I think it had 8 rather than a normal 4) it was £200 or something crazy just for them before fitting. I doubt the repair bills are any cheaper these days. Not just the cost but very inconvenient too. This is a great looking car though. Alfa Romeo sound like they may be making F1 engines next year.

Their prices are in line with most main dealers... insane.

However, there are lots of trusted Alfa Indies who are very reasonable. There is more of an enthusiastic community with these cars.

Although... the 155 was never sold with a v8

The official 0-60 of the GT4 is 5.2 seconds, based on an unmodified engine.

Seen a nice example of the Celica the other week.

Example below of how petty this little 1.75l engine that they use in 4C is. Considering weight of car is 1400kg and in FWD, unlike the RWD and 900kg weight of the 4C.

Although I'll still stick with my Giulia Quadrifolgio.

Has anyone made an inquiry on these yet? I'm awaiting a factory order but the story I've been told is that the factory weren't opening order books until all stock vehicles had been sold. However, I'd been told that stock vehicles were almost all gone last week so it'll be surprizing if there are many left.
