Try ikea style desktops and drawers with large rectangular blox boards from wilko attached approx £4 And they work fine with lego. Attach to wall or furniture to make a 'pro' build station anywhere you like I've recently made a mini figure wall with them and they work really well 🖒

Poundlands sell the small sets (Helicopters, motorbikes, crew sets etc) Snagged a few up they're really good even with us all usually bashing on poundlands quality. You can find the larger sets of block tech items in B&M stores so it's a bit of a treck here and there but saves a tonne of money over lego for stocking fillers or christmas eve presents - as said quality is good.

I agree mostly with your statement. However I've found that a couple of the poundand sets fall apart far too easily (mostly the ones with over hanging bits), the rest though are good for the money
It's no longer available.

Hence my comment that jazz took exception to!

Maybe I could have quoted the "Get them before Trump buys them all"

But how many times has someone heard a joke and repeated without going "Oh by the way, I must say, I didn't think of that....it was so and so" The majority of people's daily humour is not original.

Unfortunately the other deal had expired.
Also the ones I found were only 29p and not 72p So a much better price. (Though I can't comment on the quality of the brick.....the postage puts me off ha)

Anyways.......best get my coat on.....it's getting cold in here :0)

We weren't sure either but the staff in our local store were great having phoned tgem up & was told to bring him along... He loves it but the only problem is, once he's in we can't get him out... lol...

There was a lady that bought her son to the one in Manchester yesterday, he looked about 4 and was told he couldn't do it but they had some duplo that he could take with him due to the pieces used for the models being so small and could become a choking hazard for younger children.
Mr Mac

Not quite 6 yet so still waiting, unless my son can sneak in the program!

I can confirm it was today as we've just come back from it. I wonder if they have put on an extra day just because of the Easter holiday?
it is definitely the first Thursday of the month usually as we go every month (been a space theme so far this year - a rocket, a space shuttle, an alien with a pet space dog and now a UFO)
