Bournemouth airport even charges for drop-off and pick-up.
Can't believe Bournemouth airport charges for motorbike parking! (mad)

Coral Bay is acceptable. Not as good as Nissi Beach/Fig Tree Bay obvs...
Yes the refurbished harbour and purpose built tourist town are dissapointing, however there is plenty of culture around 48 Hours in Paphos
Depends. Cyprus is generally a tropical climate and most of its days is sunny. December is usually just sunny and cloudy days.
How's the weather there in December?
Flight is £10 return on various dates
Thanks a lot, are there any direct flights to North Cyprus?? I assume they would be cheaper.
Kyrenia is the most obvious option to research first, but there are other places to explore, too. Northern Cyprus is currently less over-run with tourists than the South is. It's also cheaper, as they use the Turkish Lira rather than the Euro. It's advisable to fly in to Larnaca and get a Northern Cyprus based firm to taxi you over from LCA to your hotel or car rental office in the North.
Where exactly would you recommend??
How do you get this deal I can’t seam to get it fir less than about £499 per perso
Good to see a deal for family of 5.
In Paphos now, cloudy and about 17 at the moment. Still beats the freezing weather in Birmingham.
I've just had 10 days in Lanzarote, was freezing at times, heavy rain and only snippets of sun so probably nicer here (highfive)
Great deal. Cyprus is a lovely island but can be so expensive to get there
Paid £660 for two of us flying from Manchester 24th Jan 7 nights Been before fantastic food just pray for the sun 8) has a indoor pool aswell
Love Cyprus, the weather is ok but it is their winter as well too cold to swim in the pools or the sea. OK for skiing up in the Troodos mountains though plenty of snow there.
We stayed here last August. Amazing staff and hotel. Food was fantastic... One of the highlights of our trip!
5 hour flight for 3 days (fierce)
This isn't half term week
Half term in Bristol ends on the 19th 8)
Yeah, good deal if your kids' school actually has its half term during these dates (ours doesn't)
In most parts of the country, half term week is the week before this
Nice find and Cyprus is great but just not warm enough in Feb
Birmingham Midshires has a savings account offering 1.3%, they are part of lloyds and as Martin Lewis points out this represents a difference of only 50 p per £1,000 per year of invested money. Hardly worth the risk of putting your money in Bank of Cyprus.
Oh no that is bad about it being the deposit for your home. A really stressful time buying property let alone having that issue on top to deal with. Lucky you didn't miss out on the purchase. It is rather a hassle to get the money back but seems quite rare to occur. More of a wait than having to make numerous calls. Same thing could happen to a UK bank. Bank of Cyprus is UK registered so protection will be in place. Just a hassle if the worst happens, in having to wait for the protection system to give out the money. A little unsure regarding the negativity here for this deal. Unless there are better interest rates about as: Bank of Cyprus UK Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Eligible deposits with Bank of Cyprus UK Limited are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. Any deposits you hold above the protected limit are unlikely to be covered. Protection is in place unless investing more than £85K. So the same as using any other UK based bank protected by the same scheme. Probably the same claims process.
Safer under the dogs bed
Yes I got it all back but was quite a hassle as it was my deposit for my house at the time I nearly lost out on! This is the only big bank crash I can remember and your right it still got protected. Just a bit hurt since that time and would rather earn a few less pence and put with a UK bank.
Been in January it was bit cool some days only reaching about 13c and roads to Troodos blocked with snow Did eventually got to Troodos well worth visit but bitter cold up there in winter Very nice place and found people friendly Great price even in winter quite tempted but dont pack your beach gear Was many years ago could not get to north as only few years after war with turks
Glad you liked it :)
Enjoyed your video. Very nice.
It only 16 to 19 temps average in December, we had that here in the UK the other day . So it's not really warm is it . So great for break , but your still going to be wearing jeans and a light jacket. Canaries are around 22-23 but obviously more expensive.
Definitely who I would use however the lady's name is Kula lol (y)
We are going to Cyprus on Oct 28 our booking had been with Monarch As my brother is getting married out there ,we had no choice but to find the money pay again we had Barclays travel plus insurance ,Barclays are saying it dose not cover insolvency!! Barclays said if you paid on credit card then possible may have claim on that . credit card said you had travel insurance claim of that ! Seems to me they all passing the buck . but not back to us .
Look for easy rent a car in Paphos george & lulu nothing pay upfront they meet you at airport you pay on arrival no rip credit card & no rip off with petrol read reviews on trip advisor should find link on there you e Mail then they will e Mail you back or you can phone .
Any advice on which hire car company to go with? Thanks
Very unlikely you will get 23+ in November/December. Will be pleasant but more realistically 18-20. https://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/LCPH/2016/12/7/MonthlyHistory.html?&reqdb.zip=&reqdb.magic=&reqdb.wmo= I laughed at the person saying Cyprus unfriendly? I've been going for 28 years, nothing could be further from the truth.
Both my wife and I need Special Assistance because of mobility problems, we have been to places like Morocco and The Gambia which are 3rd world allegedly, but provide more and better help than a supposed eu country like Cyprus. We can also compliament Lanzarot airport, very well organised and efficient.
You answered my question chap, my wife is in a wheelchair and I was thinking this could be a cheap breakaway for some winter sun.
Paphos airport should be called chaos airport, I travel using Special Assistance and even with that it was a nightmare, my sympathy goes out to all the other passengers who have to endure going through the ordinary procedures, I wouldn't go to Cyprus again if someone else paid for it.
If it's still available tomorrow, I'll show it to the wife when she gets home, I'll let you know if we book, cheers.
As a Cypriot I would say that mid-November is a hit and miss if you are looking for sun. You can never know with these crazy weather changes. I would say that the weather would be similar to what we currently have in the UK (I live in Nottingham). Even if going to the beach is not possible, there are plenty of places to visit if you rent a car and go to the mountains. Search for troodos mountains, tzelefos bridge, omodos, kakopetria, lofou village. You can also go to limassol marina etc. :)
Link is not working
Great deal post, really good work on the instructions.
Great price but probably the worst time of the year to be there if you're looking for sun. Heat added anyway as I can go visit family. ;)
I love all your deals thanks
When I say Ayia, you say Napa, Ayia.......
Insane deal. Still a good deal with less people. 2 people - £1056. (£527 each) And just for 1 week: 2 people - £646. (£323 each)
All the details you need to find it are in the description, just takes a small amount of effort. Try this link. https://www.jet2holidays.com/villas/search/details?property=75497&date=14-06-2017&duration=14&occupancy=r6c&airport=3&gtmSearchType=Property%20Search
Would be great deal if link went to deal. Just goes to jet2 villas search page.

Been looking for cheap flights to Rhodes for ages..can anyone recommend a site where to find some cheap accommodation
Get a boots meal deal.
I have stayed here twice and going back in 2 weeks its great
everything is OK, looking forward to holiday. :)
Damn it, why did our school have to have a non-pupil day on the first Friday, not the Monday after?!
For some reason it's only offering me 2xstudios. It won't give me 1 apt for a family of four (2 kids - 12 & 8). Maybe they sold out? Probably is why the price has changed anyway..
Seems to be £270 pp now :(
yeah i would agree, all my thomson / thomas cook bargains have been early morning finds. id also advise not to dither just book as its awful kicking yourself if it goes. There are some fab aruba deals from manchester in the coming weeks that have been posted. I presume they either want to fill the flight and so will sell remaining seats near to cost and hope they make money onboard. Or in our case i believe it must have been a cancellation where they have already received payment for the holiday and are purely 'doubling' their money as it cost over 1800 each originally. Keep up the cracking deals - love holidays!
Thomson do seem to have some good deals recently. I know last year there were some good last minute August deals too that I found for friends and family, the only thing I found was they appeared at ridiculous hours so I'd check when I got up at 5am and be texting family then as they went so quickly!
This hotel has a Luna Park (fairground)/around the corner and a McDonalds indicating how Touristy it is. There are Restaurants everywhere on the main drag inc some pricey ones. Cyprus Meze's are awesome...
I lived in Cyprus for 3 years, came back in 2013. We have stayed in this hotel, its not on the coast but a 2-3 min walk to the sea. They have the main hotel then some appeasements across the road. Cyprus is wonderful, take your passports and drive to the northern side (walk through), drive up Troodos and play in the snow then pop down to the coast for a Meze. We can give you a few tips on where to go and eat if you can drive. Ocean Basket in MyMall is nice, the Mall has a ice rink in the middle. Paphos and Polis are 1hr away, they drive same side of the road as the UK too. I miss Cyprus, our youngest was born there. "dad, why is the sea brown"... was a question when we returned.
I have stayed in this hotel a few times and it is lovely, pool is fab for kids. They also have an adults only pool, we rented a car to explore as Cyprus is easy to get around.
Not been to Limassol but Paphos and Ayia Napa are lovely. Cyprus is our go to island now Turkey is off the table
Hi Rachel are you able to help us find a family holiday around £1000 from 21st July-28th July for three adults( my son turns 12 while we are away) and two other children. We can fly from any London or Midlands airports. You have found so many amazing deals and we have searched but can't find anything in our budget. We just want some sun, culture and to visit a beautiful place
too many malakas :) carefull of the boat trips http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/british-men-accidentally-caught-boat-to-syria-after-night-out-in-ayia-napa-fake-prank-hoax-a7070361.html
Given that some on this site think you can see Syria from the finikoudes you will understand in my keeping it simple.X)
just putting accuracy into the vernacular
Greek Orthodox is Christian I would know given that I am half Cypriot.
you can find such "deals" all the time on thomson. specially during winter. nothing special just regular last minute holidays
Current forecast for next couple of weeks is between 16-20 degrees. This is the forecast for 5-12 March, but how accurate it is I've no idea.
What's the weather like then..?
No, you can deduct the cost of a flight and case from £471 so probably about £350 for one can be cold early March though
I wasn't able to replicate your search for Glasgow or Edinburgh. I'm probably doing something wrong? Anyone else having any luck? :|
There's also the Edinburgh 14 nights HB too.
Finally, a deal from Scotland - thanks.
