I must be too innocent, but why is Lyle's Golden Syyrup "Entertainment"?

I don't understand.... these are a bit moreish to be left long. Also often in poudshop a great deal. Plus one of those brands that doesn't seem to be a rip of, to be "free from...."

hehe nothing wrong with that at all & why not save a bit of money on it too hehe a little bit of something sweet now & again is very good for you i say

Well I love sweet stuff. You can tell I’m a size 18 going onto a 20 so I need to cut it out. Enjoy anyway xxx

Not so bad quality for the price.I have ordered one and when collecting they had just one damaged (bent one of the lids and one side of the top section)left in the shop.Opening and closing was not affected. The lady offered to sell it to me for 6,50 £.Not bad price for this toolbox.

I got one last year. It’s actually great, much prefer it to the tool bag I had.

I had one of these as an apprentice many moons ago. Might get one out of nothing else but pure nostalgia.

BT 6600 Trio Call blocker - Sainsburys instore (Exeter) - £27
LocalLocalFound 10th MarFound 10th Mar
BT 6600 Trio Call Blocker with answer phone. Now £27.00 In Sainsbury’s Alphington Exeter. £60 down to £45 down to £27. In store price

Just got one today, priced at £45 scanned at £27. Edinburgh Longstone store. Only one in reduced section.

Just managed to find one!! I wasn’t going to go hunting for these, as I thought they would be few and far between. However, I was passing a Sainsburys, so decided to have a quick look. There was one left - probably because it was still priced at £45 - but when I took it to the till, it scanned at £27, as suggested by the OP. Looks like there are still some out there, so I hope you get lucky too.

I know what you mean. I'm beginning to wonder if they ever existed. Mind you l did see the stickers on the shelves at the Haringey store a few weeks ago, needless to say it was bare.

I’m still on the look out for one of these deals. Anyone know if stock around London?

2016 Lego Advent Calendars in Tesco Extra Exeter £11.87 / £12.50

None left when I checked today

Anyone found this in other stores?

I think they've been trialing something similar https://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Christmas-Build-Up-40253

To cut costs, the 2018 Star Wars Advent Calendar has 1 Lego piece in each compartment, which after opening all 24, one mediocre model can be made! Surprised they don't try that to be honest.

Shouldn't that be "where did you dig up that old fossil?"

Auchentoshan Single Malt £20 @ Sainsbury's Exeter Alphington Road
LocalLocalFound 31st Oct 2017Found 31st Oct 2017
Not sure if national - website shows £32. Worth a go as it is a lot off. Quite oaky aroma, but I guess that must be the American Oak barrels. Silver Medal award winner in 2015.

Not unusual to be in this ball park. 'On offer' more than not. Certainly wouldn't pay £32. For that money you can sometimes pick the 'three wood' which is very nice indeed. Not bad for 20 quid but I'd suggest it's found its value.

Amazon have Aberlour 10yo for £20.20 and Laphroaig 10yo for £25. Much prefer either of those to this NAS offer that I'll assume has just had its 3rd birthday.

Same at Morrisons

This must be national, seen it in Kirkcaldy at this price 👌

A good whisky, only £22 from Amazon if you can't get to Sainsbury's https://www.amazon.co.uk/Auchentoshan-American-Single-Scotch-Whisky/dp/B00IOBU6HE/

Purchased one of these from Tesco when they were selling off their garden stuff last year. Paid £1.38 (or something siily) for it. Tried it on my lawn and thought I'd broken my foot! Like concrete, it was, Ow! Word to the wise - don't use it on a dry hard lawn and stamp on it like it was Beelzebub's nutsack. It REALLY hurts...

Looks like a torture device.

I can't find anything online so I'm wondering if we may of mis-read and got confused with information about the Sowton one. :| sorry I can't edit my original post, edit/reply/delete buttons etc don't work for me on here anymore and I wouldn't want to throw out false information.

intresting as we do have the warehouse one in sowton so wonder where it could be moving to if that is true & wonder what will replace the one down alphington road

That being said there was a planned closure, not sure what it was I reading in store that said they were moving.. The other half pointed it out and I can't find anything online which backs up my statement haha .. (_;)

The store is only closing down as is moving to another site apparently. It seems it is cheaper or easier for them to discount stock rather than move the stock to the new store.

Heat for Exeter departures, that'll will save at £50 at least.

Most carry on cases weigh 2-3kg so good luck taking only 2-3kg of clothing etc etc to last 10 days, Thomson and Thomas Cook are very strict at weighing when j have used them. could just wear multiple layers of clothing though ;) Does my head in that they are now so strict on what you carry on yet people can weigh 100kg more than me, spill over into my seat and that's deemed acceptable Still a good price regardless although the weather can be hit and miss in paphos in April (Rains a fair bit)

Sorry it doesn't include luggage. I thought it was included. It is only 5kg but I think you could do this. Current forecast for the next couple of weeks are between 21 up to 29 degrees and likely to be warmer at the end of the month so I don't think you'll need heavy clothing. The apartment has a washing machine too which is a bonus so you really don't need to pack much! Bag charges are a rip off with Thomson!

Includes luggage, it's on the screen shot.

Probably should factor in hold luggage as thomson only have 5kg hand luggage allowance oO

I never said where I was living now made Exeter look bad, I was simply comparing to how I remembered it when I lived there. While I appreciate it's got to compete with other cities in the UK, it's trying to be something it's not and it appears to have lost it's routes as a Roman city - I can't remember the last time I heard a visitor talking about visiting the Royal Albert Memorial Museum or popping to Rougemont Gardens to look at the original walls that surrounded the city (which is where the city's true beauty lies).

Exeter is a beautiful city. If you think it's a dump you want to to open your eyes!

I've stayed here twice and had the taster menu. Fantastic food and despite the "constructive" comments, Exeter has as much to offer as any other English city and is 15 minutes away from coast and Dartmoor National Park. The hotel decor is a little tired but it's an ideal base to explore Devon.

Surely anyone that is interested in football and in the Nottinghamshire area, would want to take this offer on, or even ground hopping fans that need to tick the one call stadium off. A great price for professional football game.

If that was the case then everyone will be moving to Manchester ;) lol

Always good to see lower division clubs reaching out to their local communities. If only people supported their local teams instead of buying Sky subscriptions and "supporting" Premiership teams they've never even visited, the world would be a better place.

why are the offers always on my working weekend :'( great price though for everyone else
