LEGOLAND® Florida 2019 Special Offer Ticket with Attraction Tickets Direct - £34 for 14 days (£2.42 a day!)

Fantastic value package for Legoland Florida Theme Park, £34 gets you a pass for 14 consecutive days (roughly £2.42 a day (+ parking)). Admittedly not as good a park as Universal S… Read more

We used to go in November (before thanksgiving) and it was perfect for us, weather was comfortable and parks were dead. Unfortunately we’re tied to holiday times now due to college and work commitments, so harder to benefit from the quieter times. Still love the place though, and would happily go and leave out the parks completely if kids permitted

Depends when you go. Don't clash when South Americans have their school holidays, firstly As they clean outlet shops out. And then if you can help it ( for shorter queues, but they won't empty outlet shops) Don't go when North Americans are on school holidays.

All down to opinion and circumstances, for our 3 year old daughter it was a perfect park, no queues and plenty to go on for her. As mentioned in the original post, I much prefer Universal and Busch Gardens, but there’s far fewer attractions at them for our daughter, the queues are much longer and also much more expensive.

It's a great park for younger kids but you won't want to go more than once per holiday, Hot

It should be free as it’s a terrible park.

You can take public transport into Europe if you didn't know

Are we walking to Europe? :/

Or you can just buy any top-up insurance before you go.

Just make sure you budget for a car (and park tickets). Those free cars are not free at all. Basically no insurance. If you book a car before you go out its cheaper than the upgraded insurance you need to buy when you get there for the "free" one.

If anybody takes this kind of deal without accommodation in Florida, I would suggest you leave it late if you wanted a villa. Even at the busiest times of year, there are thousands of villas sitting empty around Kissimmee (which is where everybody stays - Orlando is the city nearby but generally ISN'T where people stay), so during quieter periods (which I think this is) there are even more. I've done this many times before and you can easily save around 50% on villa costs. I used to basically search for the period you want, then look at the villas until you find ones you like, then block email the owners asking for their best possible last minute price. Just use one of the big villa rental sites like Home Away. I used to send off maybe 100 messages, sometimes more. I always ended up with some amazing deals. It's hard to say exactly but these were the approximate results of my requests; No discount - 5% of respondents 5-10% discount - 10% of respondents 10-20% Discount - 25% of respondents 20-30% discount - 30% of respondents 30-40% discount - 20% of respondents 40-50% discount - 10% of respondents Yes, that does all add up to 100% for all those that just checked (nerd) The best deal I got was a 7 bed (yes 7!!) villa withy a massive pool for, I think, 18 days. This was over 10 years ago now but it should have been £3,200 but as a last minute deal I got it for £800 with pool heating! Basically a 75% discount. Now this was an extreme discount, but the reasoning by the owner was that he was going away on business and didn't think he'd get any other bookings for those weeks so he took the chance to get something. It was also new to the rental scene and that's what I've noticed - generally newer properties on the holiday rental market (often advertised as NEW) usually offer good discounts anyway. You may find it a good idea to target any such properties as the owners are very keen to start getting SOME money in AND to build up reviews. Again, I've done this many times - I've rented 15-20 villas around Kissimmee and have never paid full price. Most of my offers were between 30-50% off. You can often get freebies included too such as pool/jacuzzi heating, which would normally cost £75-£100 or so per week. We've also got good deals by renting 2 villas for the period, but the only downside with this is that you may need to pay 2 deposits. If you sent off 100 enquiries you can expect to receive back around 10 owners offering you 40-50% discount. Whatever, give my suggestion a bash and see how much you can save! Hope this helps!

I think that's a cracking price ... Who's with me!!!

Probably an impossible question to answer, but how much lower do people think this might drop, if at all?

Gutted I missed this, by the time if checked with my work if the time was available it was gone!

Not a bad price, but once you have added £100 to select your seat and £235 car insurance the price creeps up. I wouldn't fancy driving on USA roads in a Vauxhall Corsa equivalent, so an SUV is £370 with insurance, so comes up at £1770. I had a good late deal last September with Virgin, 8 nights, flights with seat selected, SUV with full insurance and villa with games room and large pool for only £1825 all in for four adults. I booked it mid-august for a 2nd sept departure. On departure day we checked in at Disney springs so no lugging suitcases around. I was going to go for a last minute spain deal, but Orlando was cheaper. Bought Universal annual passes for £260 each so we could use them this year, also gets you free parking and 10% off food and merchandise. So if your after a cheap deal this year. look in August for September deals.

Well yes, obviously. Some of us normal people genuinely can't afford to go in school time, sorry.

Would love to find a good deal for next year in kids holidays from Newcastle

Lyft taxis same as Uber usually cheaper and good discounts and better cars. Rosen next door to biggest McDonald’s in the world apart from usual food do pizzas and pasta dishes made to order. Open 24/7 great if on tight budget. Lots of good value restaurants around this area. I have stayed in more luxurious hotels but always return to Rosen international for location and value for money

Orlando International is only 15 mins from i drive, get a taxi/uber or the public bus (Lynx no 42) is only $2 ($1 children). The bus takes about an hour as it goes to the train station and florida mall first.

Just got back from Orlando and I was shocked how much it’s changed in recent years, nice to see them investing money still.

They don't because they have already completed their mandatory indoctrination, unlike their pupils.

It's a pity teachers don't get fined when they are off in term time.

Stayed in All Star Sports a few years ago. certainly its the budget end of Disney's Offering but still a good time, rooms were nicely sized and clean, and it has the advantages that the Disney Bus's run to it so getting around the Disney Complex is a breeze. We flew in to Sanford and paid for a coach transfer and by using the Disney Busses we saved car hire charges. Food options are a food court or Pizza delivery to your room, but you will spend most of the time in the parks anyway, so its fine as a grab and go area. We used other restaurants on Disney property if you want a fine dining experience, and of course using the bus means you can drink too with your meal. Only thing to bear in mind is its Disney so the foods prices are a bit more than other places you could get to if you had a car, and the in hotel mini shop prices are a bit more than elsewhere for anything you forgot or need (suncream/painkillers etc) but that to be expected to some extent where you are.

Fabulous deal for those with pre-school children. Great spot OP

Are you on a budget? I would do all you can eat in the morning, your kids are free when you go so it's just 2 adults. I'd recommend Golden Carrol for breakfast. If your really on a budget and cannot afford all parks, for £102pp (think kids are free under 5?) you can do SeaWorld/Busch/Aqua 14 days with free parking. Take snacks to parks etc as it's expensive to eat in parks $37 all day dining including drinks in the park per person, can eat every hour.

good advice. I would that add that buying park tickets in advance generally does normally save a fortune compared to gate prices.

Thank You, I will have a look at how that works out for us

It's only cheaper without park hopping for a 7 day ticket and park hopping is well worth the extra £30 or so (and if you're staying 2 weeks you get the extra 7 days free).

We got 2 weeks for family of 5 to Disney and universal all park tickets for £2300 with the memory maker and q jump n early park opening etc, all covered by ATOL and paid slowly over a year since booking. I've just ordered an Amex card (can't remember which one) that has an introductory offer of 5% cashback for the first 3 months. So going to use that to buy our tickets, 6 of, total cost is about £2200. I got £5 TCB for the Amex card, £100 cashback on the Amex, then £40 (2%) TCB for the tickets. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but every little helps to sweeten the blow of paying for Disney tickets! £145 all in.

Thanks for this - have just purchased four tickets for our trip later in the year. For those wondering about doing the same, this best price deal runs out on the 4th February, not the 1st April which is just the Toy Story magic band offer. TopCashBack currently 2.02% and Quidco £15 for ticket sales only.

Ayup Usually around Easter they announce free dining which is added on for free. So the quote you have now will be that with free dining added, depending on your Resort depends what dining plan you are allocated for free; you can pay to upgrade to a better dining plan; for example we stopped at Caribbean beach resort last year, which we got a Quick Service plan, which consists of: 2 snacks - 6$ or under (cake sweets drinks etc) 2 quick service meals - basically any meal under 16$, so you get like a meal drink and a dessert in some places. How ever we upgraded to table service which entitles you to a sit down meal for free, so like at a top end restaurant in town. Our bills for 2A2c come to around 180 or so, which is included in the plan so only had to pay tips at the end, so wasn’t at all bad, plus with Table service dining you can dine with characters, therefore you don’t need waste time in parks queuing to see them; you can take pictures and what not whilst eating,

Whats the deal with the free dining options. I was going to book soon but will hold off if this is correct, can yu you let me know more please?

Which car hire company did you end up using? Your price is cheaper than anything that I've found. Thanks

Thanks for both your answers :) I've just booked some extra excess cover with the CDW and SLI insurance included so there shouldn't be any hassle at the airport. Just the airport fees, tank of gas and some state fees I believe...

My wife is a teacher also so we are restricted on dates. I have just booked our flights and car hire for 5th-19th April. Having done my research flights to Miami were significantly cheaper so I bagged return flights with BA through Travelbag (direct outbound, with return flight connecting at Madrid). Miami is approx 3.5 hour drive so figured it is worth it considering Orlando international can be anything up to a 50 min drive (depending on where you are). I booked my car hire through BA using my Avios points. Still got accommodation to book so any tips appreciated

No such thing as less crowded as Disney are now a terrible penny pinching company who reduce the staff on the rides so in effect it can be worse than the peak times. Only way around it is to go to the town hall and ask for a DAS as you can’t handle all the people in a queue for long periods so you get another fast pass for any ride making the parks bearable.

Ok good to know cheers, really appreciate the info.

If you are trying to save money a villa won't do that... The secret price is just a ruse from hotels. Com to make you think you are getting a better deal... In fact that hotel is about that price everywhere the higher amount they must take from a peak date elsewhere

If you was wanting a villa instead where would you look for that? Also how did you get the secret prices on hotel bookings?

These aren't actual tickets, they're 'will call' vouchers you pick up when you get there. However you can just link them to your My Disney Experience account to get your Fastpass booking in advance.

Great price going next September and it's the cheapest I've seen it... I paid 379 for the same ticket last year. As people have said before it's better to have the actual ticket upfront so you can book your fast pass 30 or 60 days in advance because if you want to skip the queues for rides in the new toy story land or avatar advanced fast pass is the best way otherwise you'll be in a 3 hour queue.

Hey if you book early enough you can get as low as £200 with luggage (I stupidly didn't book so the price went up shortly after!)If you're not fussed on dates, I found flying with Virgin slightly cheaper (no luggage included). This is based on 2 adults and 2 children as it is my set up, but works out as approx £230 per ticket.I don't have quidco so not sure if this can get any cheaper with a cashback redemption too.
