That's why I took the three year's insurance... Should last with the ten year parts also inculded (party)

Pray it stays working Number of reviews state its likely to breakdown and the after sales service will be pretty poor

I have this washing machine from Argos it arrived dented and the holding bolts to the drum was near impossible to take out (annoyed) . But got them out in the end. (horror) Has it was damaged there sending me a new one out :D . Luckily I only paid 199 for it when it was on offer. took out the warrant so should be OK. Its worked fine since it arrived a mouth ago (pirate)

I’d never have a candy again, bought one just over a year ago and it’s shocking. Good luck

Hoover/Candy - no thanks! Poor reliability. If you're going for a budget machine you can't beat BEKO. If you can go mid-market there are plenty of Bosch machines to choose from. Check Which? if you can.

Fairy Non Biological Laundry Liquid - 24 Washes £2.50 @ tesco express (Huddersfield)
LocalLocalFound 21st AprFound 21st Apr
loads in stock Huddersfield wakefield road ,also got the Ariel 24 wash same price

Probably not - they print on the label something like 'based on new dosage recommendations' - which I guess their lawyers would argue that everybody would know instantly what that meant! But what they're actually saying is you'll get the same number of washes if you use less liquid - which I regard as, at the best, as misleading.

If you use this regularly check where the washing machine water runs the drain...I had to remove what looked like a massive lump solidified washing powder from's only happened with Fairy laundry liquid( mostly 40 degree wash) I normally use Bold but tried two bottles of Fairy a few months ago and had the drain's never happened with the Bold liquid.

Can I sue them?

It has been discontinued so they can con the consumer with their 'new dosage' - these bottles are 24 washes based on using 50ml (1200ml) --- the new bottles are based on only using 35ml per wash, although the liquid is exactly the same --- they've decreased the size of the bottle and increased the price, but still manage to keep the number of washes the same!

it is actually this bottle , different cap , it looks like its been discontinued ,so it appears both of you were correct ,still the same product in the bottle as far as I am aware , next cheapest looks like ocado 3 for £10

Thanks for the comments guys.. I've decided not to order it..

Stitching was fine on mine. However, the shrinkage was so bad I have returned them. Couldn't believe how bad it was!

Going to wear for work, got large so hopefully they shrink, anyone else have bad stitching in the logo or is it normal

Funny how this has appeared in my keywords again

Mine came through today. Pretty thin t-shirts and yes, like others have said - shrank after the first wash. Good for under shirts, on holiday and general light use though. On the packet they say pyjama tops.

Wooden Frame Fabric Laundry Bin for £8 (down from £16) @Tesco Direct

A practical and attractive way to store your laundry, this H & L Russel laundry hamper has a sturdy wooden X-shaped frame with a natural coloured finish. Featuring a light natu… Read more

I bought one and the Velcro straps holding the linen (?) bag to the frame come off too easily - a nuisance. The wooden rod that weighs down the top cover is pretty pointless - when carrying the laundry to the basket it has a tendency to swing around and hit the walls - at least in my narrow corridor it does. It’s okay .. once the material gets dirty I’ll probably bin it rather than bothering to wash it.

The cover does come off and can be washed

I store my laundry in the washer. £8 saved plus precious floor space.

Not a great design though. That fabric is almost guaranteed to get smelly after a while and there doesn't seem to be a way to take it off and wash it. Whereas the IKEA one sensibly uses plastic.

Damn just brought one although the one from IKEA was cheaper this is a hell of a lot nicer! Oh well! Heat anyway op!

Is it an option you have to subscribe or else? I bought on PayPal and will be returning after Easter. But can't find any more info on how to specifically make return. Is it I just return and I won't get charged later ( postage label and sending doesn't cost anything, but on refund I'll get lesser amount of money) Thanks

Don't order in a size down as suggested above if you do any form of weight lifting. I ordered a size down and couldn't bend my arms in the damn thing.

site is down

Already have several coats, however, the other week I lost my gloves. So my logic is, I would be paying £5+ for another pair of gloves anyway, so just over £20 for my first camel coat is a bargain

Ariel 40 Washes - £5.50 @ Tesco
Found 7th MarFound 7th Mar

Yeah, completely agree with you, dad brought me Surf from morrisons when it was on offer for £7 I think it was a 90 wash and was not good at all. I finished the box but would never buy again. I tend to stick to Persil bio powder and Ariel because they seem to keep whites white and colours don’t fade either. I’ve also noticed with other “cheaper” powders you have to use a much larger quantities compared to Ariel and Persil to get clothes properly but it doesn’t make economical sense to do that in the first place, I’d just rather buy a powder which is at a reasonable amount and I don’t have to use mass quantities. Btw I don’t know if you use Persil bio but they have it at Farmfoods for 2 for £20 for a 100 box so 200 wash for £20. That comes in at 10p per wash. But I don’t know if that deal is National.

I was going to say Persil liquid also beat the Ariel Gel

The gel is better than the liquid. But I prefer to use the powder because it keeps whites white and just seems to keep the machine cleaner. However, Persil bio liquid is much much better than the Ariel liquid and has come as the number 1 liquid on which

Alright, chill (strong)

Yes deffo agree , you won’t find aerial 10p per wash . It’s best laundry powder out there . I bought surf once a few months back which was approx 7p per wash a big 120 wash box but never again ! Went back to using Ariel . It’s by far the best . Don’t waste ur money on anything else . I prefer powder over liquid . Cleans clothes better

Primark is rubbish, after one wash it's quality drops significantly.

This is a not true. All but 2 are my jackets are from Primark. While the older ones have faded I've had the other 4-5 for like 6 months now and still look as new. They're thin and not warm though. One Christmas gift was a Puma jacket and while I hate Puma that jacket is so much warmer vs Primark and M&S

Primark quality is rubbish - you can't wear them at all after a single wash - the colours look washed out and the material just looks like rag - its cheap for a reason I would say. Even that argument aside for a hoodie and joogers to be delivered at £24.99 with a bit of cashback, you'd struggle to get that at primark also - the bad quality notwithstanding ofcourse.

(skeptical) I don't know what you've bought there, but I have a jacket that's 2 years old now and still going strong. Great fit, held together well and looks alright considering the heavy usage its had. Cost me £27 delivered. Crazy bargain. And no, Primark is not better, and on top of that its designs are far, far worse.

So I wonder too - I got it and love it - thought it would help some folks :)
