I have a wonderful boyfriend who I met a year ago so I'm not a single parent anymore. I still have health problems but I study art and look after my little girl so life is pretty sweet and finances aren't quite so tight! That's pretty good going in my books!

Great news, you keep enjoying life and hope your health keeps improving. Take care.

Yeah, the pool wasn't that warm when we went in April a few years ago but its still worth it for us as we wouldn't be able to afford this holiday in the height of summer and also it would be too hot for my little red head, pale skinned girl!

My fiancee and I booked together but were allocated seats with one being 12 rows behind the other despite the plane being around 2/3 full at the time and plenty of rows with 2 and 3 to choose from. Were told at check-in that we would have to pay extra to sit next to each other (we refused.) It was the principle rather than a "must sit together." Turned out that the plane wasn't full at all, lots of empty seats dotted about with people having a row of 3 all to themselves. Needless to say upon the seat belt sign going off half the passengers rejigged and swapped and all was fine. Weasels for trying to bleed you dry after suckering you in with the initial "low fare" price. I realise it's a business but still!

Exactly. It's business. You're flying low cost, you paid for a flight from point A to point B. I don't get why some people still don't understand this concept. You booked together, but did you pay for a seat together? No? Then don't complain.

Isn't that the case with most rip offs doesn't make it any easier to swallow though does it and the comment was made to inform people of such greed and the underhanded way things like this happen, and there is such a thing as protest which in my recollection has changed many things throughout history so your statement is incorrect you don't have to put up with anything that's why we have such a thing as choice.

I would worry about the quality of the food as the way I see it,they have had your money so aren't really compelled to make it as best as they can and if the food is not that great you've essentially paid up for a weeks worth that you might not eat.I mean I wouldn't pay a restaurant for a weeks worth of food before trying it.All inclusives are for people who prefer quantity over quality.

I've emailed the hotel to ask them so I'll report back when I know for everyone.

This was mentioned on Tripadvisor too so I didn't think it was worth paying any extra for. It also depends on the age of the kids as it may not be worth going AI for your whole family if the kids don't eat and drink that much. You can easily tailor this deal to suit.

Might be worth updating your deal ;), Might get some extra heat :).

Expect weather to average between 12 and 18 degrees in March, You'll need your coat but it is probably much warmer than Bridlington at that time of year ;). The hotel looks nice and it might be the only time of year some people can get away, It's a very good deal imo.

It's freezing in March, probably more so than the UK
The Bonaire was a pretty decent aparthotel when we stayed there 8 years ago. Cala Bona is a pleasant, fairly quiet little resort, close to the bigger resort of Cala Millor on the island's east coast. The Caves of Arta are not too far away for something to do on a wet day. March in Mallorca can be quite cool so take some warm clothing. Max average temp is around the 17°C mark. The recently introduced Balearics 'tourism tax' means you will have to pay the hotel an additional €0.83 (inc 10% VAT) per adult per day during your stay (low season rate) for a one week stay. Children under 16 are not taxed. If your stay is for more than 9 days, the tax is only €0.42 (inc VAT) per adult per day.

As others have said accommodation is expensive which bumps the price up on a holiday. If you are willing to drive and perhaps head further afield you may get some bargains.
