If vertical gardening isn't a euphemism, then it ought to be.

I kill everything so maybe its time to read up, how the kids survived into adulthood beats me. Thanks for the share (y)

Good looking strawberry..I could see the shadow of an elephant on that forest, just behind ha ha..thanks to your neighbour's forestation

I’m struggling with that too but I’m just gonna keep throwing stuff at it and see what happens! My soil is awful, it’s overshadowed on 3 sides due to my neighbours lack of maintenance so it’s a battle. Did get my first ever strawberry today though

Thnx. Just downloaded.

Amazon does pay tax.

Ah good find and yes 2p cheaper than my deal, but may benefit some who may have Amazon credits to use. Also I believe little more extra discount if you have 5+ S&S. Just another option at similar price. Regarding whether Amazon pay tax or is a separate issue, doesn't stop people posting Amazon deals here ;)

Cheaper @ by 2p! + Dolphin Fitness pay their fair share of tax.

Great price. We prefer the premium price of Briggs for drinking and cooking etc but for cleaning and other uses you can't go wrong for this price.

Yay, its Fighting Friday on HUKD! Thumbs up for the deal, and defo sticking with the non-post-harvest-sprouting-weedkiller-laden-fight-inducing flour..... (angel)

I came to find out what this flour was like for several types of bake. And I've learned SO much more!

Lmao I came for the comments (lol)

And so you are the fountain of all if! Go and find a school boy to continue your little school boy debate.

There's a recurring theme of a lack of logic, not to mention knowledge, in your posts. Where do you think sprouting grain at field edges and along roadsides where grain has been transported in open trailers has come from. Could it be the fairies and pixies? Is it a coincidence that barley grows where barley had been grown and wheat grows where wheat had been grown? Instead of sitting spouting garbage, try going out into the countryside and see what farmland looks like. You might learn something.

Colonel_Sanders, you go on about "claimed benefits" and then accuse other users of getting their science from newspapers, you see the irony right?

Aha you didn't read the report. Stick to getting science from newspapers. (highfive)

You didn't read the report clearly. Please when you are qualified to write such statements come back to me :D

"This was a systematic review rather than new research so should be taken with a grain of salt." That's a contradiction if ever I saw one. I'd have more faith in a review of 79 trials than the results of any one trial in isolation.

"Claimed" benefits - exactly that. And if you're taking Cochrane reports with "a grain of salt" then it suggests you're beyond reason.

Thailand is closer to Japan ;)

What others have you tried out of interest? How's it taste and look?

currently unavailable

Mines arrived today , not that great compared to others I have tried. But can't argue about price. As the others where more expensive.

Not bad at all I paid 19 quid for two 50g jars almost two years ago. The matcha was fine. A bit bland perhaps. I don't think it was as good as the Vitalife matcha I had. Not organic though. Currently using The Tea Makers of London ceremonial grade matcha: Which I received as a gift. I've found their normal teas poor (I've tried their Jasmine and Genmaicha), but the matcha is good. Bit more vibrant and more flavour. It's a deeper colour than both the Vitalife and PureChimp - especially the latter I think. Whatever you do, don't get Sevenhills matcha. It's junk - very dull and hay like. You want a vibrant green, no hint of brown or yelllow colour. Best and most affordable was buying Ippodo matcha in Japan. All grades tasted great. When I asked about grades they just said the cheaper ones were more bitter, not lower quality. Bitterness can be nice. I couldn't taste the difference between their most expensive and second most, so bought mostly the second most expensive I think. Might look into getting it delivered to the UK actually. Shame about the value of sterling. If you want quality I'd try here: Their genmaicha is fantastic. Direct from japan - arrives quickly though.

Don't see the point, just use coconut milk. Like Mylk whole. Great stuff. Coconut cream/milk makes a lot more sense in coffee surely? And will obviously contain MCTs.

Coconut merchant has a really strong sickly smell :(

The ones I received had March 2019 expiry date.

Cheers, £3 less for two jars less isn't bad at all. Plus £1 no rush to spend on Kindle. Wonder if it's short dated.

Raw Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil 1L - £9.99 Prime / £14.48 non Prime @ Amazon
Found 11th JulFound 11th Jul
This has been £9.99 in the past but usually between £14-15 for a long time. This is a great price for 1L as usually you'd get 500ml for this price.

??? It's exactly the same thing. I left a link, could you not check yourself?

Is it raw, cold pressed and organic as well?

Shock horror, oil is greasy. What do you expect it be? Also there's been no hyperbole in this thread regarding coconut oil, other than perhaps the price considering what it costs at Asda.

I think this is great oil. I use it when boiling rice. Love it.

Thanks for this, didn't know Asda had them.

Okay, but this has some natural sugars from the 1.5% lemon juice. Coca Cola and Pepsi are 35g of sugar per can. So yeah, it's not healthy - but definitely a better alternative.

They also have Apple and Lemonade for the same price. BBE on cola is August 2018, lemonade and apple were November 2018. @Mysticaltopaz24 got ones with a BBE of Jan 19 so these are well worth picking up. They are also carbon neutral. An excellent find and I've stocked up. Thanks OP!

didnt really like the flavour of this. they had 4 cans for about a quid or something in Heron a month or so ago and got some then. been enjoying botanical Cola lately like the ones by Fentimanns

They also have the Pret A Manger Yoga Bunny cans for 39p at my local Poundstretcher :)

It definitely does taste like cola, it tastes like ‘proper’ cola. We are all probs my too used to Coca Cola and Pepsi flavours now.

i think you mean 1-3 teaspoons mixed in a cup of water. that's the normal dose.

cheaper to use white vinegar on a hot day. its a temporary measure. you can use salt too but that would restrict other plants from growing too.

Brilliant price! You can use this with Bentonite claywhich makes awesome face masks and you can also use it as a diluted soak with warm water for itchy eczema or Psoriasis not to mention salad dressings :)

Ha ha ha. OK. (lol)

Sugar free coca cola zero... That's just SO full of sugar isn't it?! Also, I wouldn't give it to my children, fizzy drinks are adult drinks in our house. Do the NHS a favour and don't give these things to your kids, even if they are cheap.

And this snotty comment from someone that's posted deals for Coke, Haribo and Bulmers cider. (lol)

I don't think they're FULL of sugar and salt, but I do agree it's pretty easy to make your own. Some people just find these handy to have as a back up or a snack. So, climb down of that high horse. ;)

Full of sugar, salts and unnecessary stuff, cheaper and healthier to make your own baby food!
