They have huge prices.

Hi! Get the App 'resolver'' and file a claim! Also speak to their customer service on Twitter should be easy to get your money back.

PulseTurbo

Just a word of caution. They ditched me and my mate in Slovakia a couple of months ago, with the only option offered of a flight home in 4 days (with no hotel or anything paid for). They're still yet to reply to our claim for compensation, and I'm about £400 out of pocket. YMMV

Admast79

Better be late (less or more:) than never fly out :D

Creasey318

Can't comment as mine weren't late. Based on experience, much better than Ryan Air

My tip is to use AirBnb. We rented an entire 2 bed apartment, 5 mins walk from the Centre for next to nothing. I couldn't fault it at all, and we would do the same again next time we go. The whole trip was under £150 including return flights over 4 days....

BlueSkies

Looks like this one has sold out but this one looks just as nice and is still super central and the same price! https://www.booking.com/hotel/pl/pokot-apartments-wroclaw-wroclaw1.en-gb.html?label=gen173nr-1FCAEoggJCAlhYSDNYBGhQiAECmAEuuAEHyAEN2AEB6AEB-AELkgIBeagCAw;sid=e96d4f953810555696273964f0b9be43;cdist=0.1%20miles;checkin=2018-10-18;checkout=2018-10-21;dest_id=-537080;dest_type=city;dist=0;group_adults=2;hapos=7;highlighted_blocks=357622102_118326801_2_0_0;m_occ=2;matching_block_id=357622102_118326801_2_0_0;nflt=pri%3D1%3Broomfacility%3D800038%3B;room1=A%2CA;sb_price_type=total;srepoch=1532639038;srpvid=ff7f941e1e700191;type=total;ucfs=1&

Wow thats not good. It looks like the travel ban will be upheld but not til June. If you need any help, on foregoing USA and circling round do let me know and I will see how I can help.

jinkssick

I saw some flights from Sofia bulgaria to Dubai for a ridiculous £60 return in the coming months of course excluding summer holidays children are off. Many airlines fly to Sri Lanka from UAE like Sharjah for like £120 approx. Kiwi is a good site that will allow you so search regions then book direct with airline.

canitrunbattlefield

sorry to bring this thread up again - how would you recommend flying from UK to Colombo, Sri Lanka? I'm just amazed how you found all those obscure routes at the impossibly low prices..

skirmisher08

I've booked this flight but stupidly did not realise that there are visa waiver restrictions on people who have visited one of 7 Muslim countries even if they have British passport. Had to apply for a visa but it could not be approved so now I'm in black hole of administrative processing. Don't think I'm going to be able to make this trip at all as this process can take up to 60 days so I need a miracle to get one in time. Certain airlines allow name changes (eg the flight from Honolulu to Sydney). Please PM me if you want me to transfer any flights to you. I know majority of them are non transferable.

samc

Amazing deal! I did three round the world trips last year like this and have already done one this year. Love these bargain prices, will definitely be booking this up! Me luvs a holidayy!

Ar460rn

I'll probably be flamed, but it would be nice if one of these free food promotions could be promoted to the local homeless. I'm sure there are many homeless that would welcome a free taco far more than me. No idea if it could be achieved but spread the word to the local homeless charities?

Siddas

Glad I could be a help to you. Feel free to pm me if you need any more info. This deal is very good. 2 full days is enough to see this beautiful city.

Something passed on to me by my polish friends even. In some places of Poland people will still be a bit racist. Not that even in London people wouldn't tbh

rui.leo

Thank you very much for spending a good amount of time giving an honest and detailed answer. my questions were genuine as an ignorant to the city and pretty much to the culture overall. I do have polish friends, however this never came into mind. i will see if I can get those days free and give it a look. once again thank you! If the community were more like you, it would be a lot better to check the comments. :)

Thanks for the kind words. Didn't know about the free version of in your pocket - I will save my ink next time!

Please - anyone thinking of booking, just remember: Ryanair - The world's first airline to actually sell imaginary seats, on imaginary flights. Oh, and do play following link as you go through the booking process:

Ryanair's slogan should now be: "for when you have no other option...." like a lender of last resort only then time it's a 'flyer of last resort' ok it's more accurately described as providing a 'lottery flying service"..

Brilliant city to visit, so much to see and do.... we scratched the surface when we went last November, walking to the Schindler museum through the old Jewish Ghetto is very interesting (and sad). At the Schindler Factory/museum is also a very good contemporary museum called Mocak. Auschwitz/Birkenau is a definite is you've never been there before. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the old town in the new shopping center. I walked past the hotel about 3 weeks ago its near the station. Well located hotel near a big carre four in the Galleria shopping centre. The train station isn't in the old town walls its outside it.

rachelandgromit

There are a number of Ibis hotels. This one is a bit further out but reviews on Tripadvisor suggest the main square is only a 10-15 min walk away and it can easily be accessed from the airport by bus and it has excellent public transport links too, tram etc.

I have just come back from Wroclaw. Great place! And also a great hub from which to travel to other places in Poland. The airport bus takes you opposite the train station. You can buy train tickets online in advance http://www.intercity.pl/en/ or from the ticket machines at the train station if you prefer. I took the train to Krakow which was great and there were power points at each seat of the train journey (I booked a train comparment). It took just over 3 hours and cost less than £9. I took my portable mifi with me to entertain myself on the journey (Three feel at home data sim) so the three hours flew past.

Raw claw is lovely, best thing was hearing O'Leary in the press release pronounce it exactly like that ;-) Hard to believe no one told him how to say it!! Been to Gdansk, Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw and many places other smaller places like Zakopane, all good, more people need to open their minds. Having said that, so many people in UK fail to see how much we have right here to see, you don't need to go half way round the world.
