Even though its on the three network

Yes............... I can add that I've been with most direct mobile phone service providers plus tried the piggybackers, the overall quality from the piggybackers is less than direct service providers, less signal (actually emergency phone calls only with TPO inside), lesser quality calls, data takes a while to connect and then is poor quality despite being "4G", then add the dire customer service........ The only company I would have recommended which did piggyback was LIFE, customer service was the best, I set up lots of peeps with them and knew a chunk of the peeps by name via their social media page, any problems? - sorted within a couple of minutes - sadly that's long gone now and Plusnet refuse to reply to messages..... So yes, regardless, I'm going back to "Three" as the signal was miles better than it's piggybacker TPO , plus better quality of calls and data

hi there, ok ive for a sim from them and know i need to activate but how do i top up just £5 to get the £5 power bundle? there is no option online to pay just £5??

thanks
Three weeks and I still haven't had a reply from their customer services, via email. I went to Three anyway, reception is fine where I live.
Good headline rate and for that I voted hot, but have personally found the service to be hopeless and that has led me to give up on bothering with them.

To summarise, it has taken them 3 weeks to send the SIM card, despite me following up with them one week after ordering. Yesterday I then received 3 SIMs?! but then couldn't activate any of them online. Asked their live chat (which takes so long for someone to come online, you forget you had the window open!) and they said I couldn't activate PAYG SIMs online and had to call - I think that's rubbish because the info that comes with the SIM tells you to do it online?

Anyway, try calling them at 3pm and no answer, just busy. Tried again later on and same thing.

I take that as a sign that if anything goes wrong with the service, you have no chance of getting it resolved in time so decided to find something else.
Be aware on the other thread a few of us are unhappy about their customer service.

It makes them mobile but within contact. for MOST people that 24 hours a day flexibility is why they have a MOBILE phone.so the fact that OFCOM could help somebody over some time to regain their original number isn't ideal although it is of some use. the reason is that in the mean time they would have HAD to use an alternative number and inform everyone of that number. once they have the new number they may ( as the people I know did) decide to stay on that number and lose their original number. The reason for this is the inconvenience to others and themselves in then changing back again.I have just checked and for myself personally that would mean contacting nearly five hundred contacts in the UK and four other countries to give them a new number and then again to revert them back afterwards. so close to 1000 txt simply giving contacts my mobile number.really not worth the hassle to save £5 for two months and then have to change number yet again. I have just read this out to my dog and she agrees.

I ORDERED MINE A MONTH AGO STILL NOTHING. I BET THEY JUST WANT PEOPLE'S … I ORDERED MINE A MONTH AGO STILL NOTHING. I BET THEY JUST WANT PEOPLE'S ADDRESS ETC

No, I received mine. It may take time but will arrive.
Needed a Micro SIM ( they call it a Standard / Micro SIM - so presumed it would be a dual size push out SIM like all proper operators) but they send a standard size SIM only no good for a modern phone without cutting it down. Then as cl93 had trying to activate it said "The mobile phone number is invalid. Please try again"
we don't have internet and I have already noticed twice. it's been 2weeks now. awesome...
Funny thing happened. i have no problem on receiving their sim, just when I was about to login my account online to see if i can check my balance there, it doesnt allow me to login, tried several times, still saying that my email/pw is invalid, so I go for forgotten password, entered my email, saying there's no associated user, what? seriously? and I thought it's because i haven't activated my sim yet so I was about to try, but after I entered the phone no. & ICCID provided with the sim, it said the value of my phone number is invalid, totally nonsense. ordered my sim on 14th June, received few days later, wanted to activate today, hope it helps everyone to be aware of that. anyway, there's no problem to check my balance by calling them
