cold for me, i tried searching form ddee to london and edn to london at off peak times, it says from £17.50 but when you see the real price its not £17.50, the returns are even more expensive, quoting things like £151 or £221
Different link, it does say FROM £12.50 the original link gave me fares at £17 each way?

http://clicklink.eastcoast.co.uk/C2L/er.aspx?k=UW7Un2WalYzz18k758yysrF-lIidoWjNAbE3oSUtnLjqRXMliH9m9g$$
Can anyone post the link please?
The cheap tickets usually start at £16.50 so this could be a great offer similar to one they ran earlier in the year. That offer was £12.50 standard and £25 First Class. It also let you travel on most trains even though regular pricing was high so I would be grateful to the OP if they could check and try to post the proper link as I would be keen to book a few of these tickets.
It would cost me more to get a train to Edinburgh from Glasgow ....

I turned up at 8am, was around 46th in line, it was ment to start at 10 but didn't start until 11.15, at around 12 (ish) the rain started...and didn't stop, anyone who joined the que after around 8.30 to 9am did not stand a chance, i got as far as signing my name on the insurance doscument and they stopped the jumps due to high winds, the first 20 jumpers got a goodie bag with toy,t-shirt and of course the game in any of the formats, but when they stopped the jumps they just gave out the games to those still in the que up until the point they ran out,i spend 6 very long hours in the **ssing pouring rain but at least i got the game, as the post said above there were a lot of gamers their but i'm an adrenaline junkie and not a gamer, i got the game as a bonus for my young nephew so at least he is happy, the que jumping was terrible ! when they first did there count i was 46th in line...by the time they had got started and done around 15 jumps i was then 49th in line so lot of folks were getting over the barriers, had security done there job and not stood out of the rain then myself and the very nice guys and girls around me would have been able to do there jumps
went down...too far many nerds and gimps lol
If thats the brick lane by petticoat market then its closed to traffic and absolutely rammed on a sunday with the market going. Thousands of people, so I suspect not many will be getting a chance at a free bungee jump. Its a fun market though, unbelievable amounts of tat.
Given the high winds and driving rain i doubt the bungee jump will go ahead anyway
Looks like you just get chance to enter to win one.

I have never heard of this but it sounds a bit rubbish! A fiver to watch a kids film outside that's already on the TV?! As it's not aimed at an audience of children because of the time. Would surely be better in summer through the day.

It's not rubbish. Went to a showing last week and it was a pretty good experience. Depends on the people you go with I guess.
Yes £5 to watch a movie that's already out, but pretty sure you don't have a projector and a massive screen in your garden. Also many adults watched Toy Story 3.
Did this last year with the Goonies and it was great fun. Get there early with a big blanket and a picnic and if it is a nice evening it is great. Take pillows to sit on and a jumper/blanket to keep warm.
I have never heard of this but it sounds a bit rubbish! A fiver to watch a kids film outside that's already on the TV?! As it's not aimed at an audience of children because of the time. Would surely be better in summer through the day.
7 ALMOST IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT YOUR SCREENING:
1. Bring something to sit on.
2. You may want to bring a jumper a long as it can get a little chilly after sunset.
3. There will be a fully stocked bar on site and a hot food will be available from Van Dough, making amazing little pizzas in a wood oven in a van! Plus there is probably the loveliest popcorn you'll ever have freshly popped by London Kettle Popcorn.
4. You cannot bring alcohol on site as we're operating a licensed bar.
5. With regards to the weather. On the off chance the screening has to be cancelled it will only be if there is heavy rain, but you will be informed if this happens. The best way to keep up to date with what we're doing is through our Twitter: @popupscreens
6. Check the website for full details on location and start times.
7. The movie starts at 8.30pm, but doors open at 7pm.

Cold from me, and here's why!
Ryanair are offering a return flight from London to Katowice in Poland for £10! A bargain? I don't think so! Who's paying the real price? We are! The motorists! Aviation fuel is not taxed, while petrol and diesel are taxed to the hilt. Start making the airlines pay their way, 50p duty on a litre of aviation fuel would allow a significant cut in road fuel duty. Why should people be able to jaunt across Europe for less than it costs to travel to work in a car? This is wrong!

You pay the tax on fuels to use the roads the airlines dont use the roads so why should they pay this duty .No body else does pay
road fuel duty ie trains farmers ships ect if they put it on aircraft fuel then why not on gas, heating oil or even electric there all fuels
With the high UK flight tax.s then add a UK fuel tax think the country would become a no fly zone maybe the EU could bail use out
when we are bankrupt from this ridiculous idea .And as for Co2 emissions aircraft are not green but 180 people drive to Katowice
would be far worse
Voted deal hot as its a bargain keep coming whith these cheap flights

Advice: To avoid Ryanair card fee (polish people only) Auchan Supermakets have prepaid mastercard with their loyalty program skarbonka. they even
advertised as No ryanair fee paying skarbonka mastercard.
If i remember no annual fee, top up by bank transfer (not sure about top up instore)

50p duty on a litre of aviation fuel would allow a significant cut in road fuel duty.

and do you really believe in that ? :D
this would just be another tax, they would not cut duty on other fuels

God I hate this poor excuse of an airline, so many hidden charges and just wait until you have the unfortunate pleasure of trying to contact their customer services. You can never get to speak to anyone at Ryan **** air and if you e-mail them they jsut ignore you until you go away. I'll never fly with these rip off merchants ever again even if they were offering free flights to the moon.
Simple don't fly with Ryanair and pay a lot more.
Good luck.
I don't fly with them but you know what I don't pay much more either plus i get the satisfaction that my filght will actually take off and when I want to come home it will be on time, plus if i need to talk to a customer services it doesn't cost e £2 per minute, I get my seat allocated, I don't get charged for using a credit card or debit card, my luggage allowance is included in my price, I get tickets sent to me at no cost, all the normal things you'd expect from a decent airline.
Please send me details of the airline you use with a similar price.:D

do these models cut you up, park so you can't get past and do U-turns causing you to emergency stop like the real ones do?

This was amusing on the taxi models page, but completely irrelevant for this model, so sadly your reheated joke is a goner here!

plonk - i beg to differ - i take it you don't live in London and see how most of the Mini drivers think they're ****' Stirling Moss @ Monte Carlo...

I do live in London actually - and in Central London very often! I can agree with your taxi post, not this though. Can't see a tiny Mini parking so you can't get past, doing u-turns to make you do a emergency stop (as their turning circle is not that great). As for cutting you up - they are usually not that powerful, unless its a Cooper S - which are more of a Mini enthusiasts car (as opposed to a average joe or average juliette Mini). And finally, I drive a Mini quite often so know how they are - bullseye!

Is this a joke? about the queens corgi dying?

I'm afraid not http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/theroyalfamily/9531210/Queens-oldest-corgi-Monty-dies.html
Plumber was caught having sex with one of the Queens dogs the other day.

Police let him off as he was Corgi registered......
I can't seem to find this price, is there a direct link to the product(s) that have been reduced?
