Hmm I like organic but this seems a con.
Water is atound 97% of these 'milks' and has no organic certification.
So a handful of nuts only does.

Not sure it's the whole range as I can't see raisin and hazlenut and a couple of others in my waitrose picks.
Yes, you are correct. Out of the 13 different flavors 2 are excluded, that's the Organic raisin & hazelnut milk chocolate & the Organic hazelnut & currant dark chocolate.

They don't give you a choice of all G&B. I usually buy Maya gold and I'm never given to choose that one as mine offer.
Is it a must to choose the correct favour in order to get the MyPickOffer?
Yes, if you take dark 85% for example, it won't work on any other flavour.
Actually they seen to have pulled the B&J 241offer down, :| it was advertised as until the start of May and I am sure it was still on last weekend but is gone from their website :(

Can you please show how does it workout £1.10 each or £2.20 for two ?
They are £2 each so when purchasing two flavors that you have selected in myPick you get 20% off your bill or 80p off
But they are on a multybuy offer as well, so you pay £3 minus 80p or £2.20
If you are shopping online the 20% is applied to the £3 offer price so you pay £2.40, but it could be tricky as they might not pick the exact flavor you've ordered (and have chosen as part of your myPick) and then the 20% disappears and you pay £3 oO
So its best to go instore, plus you get your free coffee and paper together with 200g of fine chocolate for the grand sum of £2.20 8)
Have you actually tested it ? Because I thought it would be 3 and thats it, no more discounts. You are paying 20% of 2 quid, basically 1.60 each, but then you are saying its 2 for 3 quid, so would not it be whichever is lower, so 1.50 vs 1.60.
Sorry, I don't think I could explain it any better than my previous attempt but I'll try
2 for £3 minus 20% off notional cost (pre-offer price, 2x£2 or £4)
=£3 - £0.80
=£2.20
But first you need to add your chosen favorite to your myPick and then purchase 2 of that exact same favorite or multiples of 2 for the glitch to work
Thanks,I perfectly understood your previous answer/explanation. But what I wanted to ask is if it has actually worked out for you ( have you managed to buy and pay 2.20 for two), or you have not tried it yet ? :)
My apologies Llno, yes numerous times but not yet with g&b as I have quite a stash from the similar glitch on lindor dark chocolate truffles 2x200g for £5, that ended last week l am afraid. I think someone attached their receipt from the B&J cookie dough ice cream glitch which I posted a while back and is still on, 2 tubs for £2.40 :D

I've not seen this in their coupon books - could it be store specific? Their flax isn't as finely ground as some others but it's very nice - great on porridge/yoghurt (& their maple syrup!)

This is not a promotion, it is a discontinued/seasonal line. Anything in Costco with a 7 at the end of the price is basically clearance.

Meridian tastes bland and waxy, Whole Earth tastes amazing in comparison.

buzzmanisbosse

Meridian horrible taste

Meridian is just peanuts and sea salt, whereas this has 3%-5% palm oil. I guess people might be used to taste but the Meridian is a far better product. Yes, having no hard fat it in, means you have to stir it before using just like you would with tahini.

Meridian doesn't have added salt either as far as I know, 100% nuts! After eating Meridian I find all others taste terrible. And think of the monkeys!

I bought these last week and thought of posting it here, I didn't know they been on offer for 4 weeks or more.
I used to buy these in bulk when they are in offer for The cheapest I have bought was £1.50 last year in Waitrose but this beats the big daddy's. they are in long enough dates Jul-Sep depending which flavour you buy(I love the Korma)

There are loads in big stores so we bought plenty to last a few years now(we don't have it every day other wise it would finish in few months and we will have gain more weight than we already have)

These are very tasty and beats the other sauces that we have tried over the years...
Amazing bargain! I buy them when they're 2 for £4 in tesco. Will pop in tomorrow and hopefully find some. Thanks!
I just bought these at waitrose -more expensive!

Organic .... Lol
Yeh what a laugh, funny no one laughed at it just 100yrs ago.

You are what you eat... Where do you want me to start
1)Pesticide 2) Animal Welfare 3) Environment 4) GM techniques 5) Future

1) DDT the most dangerous insecticide so dangerous they had to ban it's use. All the pesticides are potentially dangerous. The effect on environment and peoples health is in front of us all and will be going on until someone wakes up and ban all of them.
2) Animal welfare: you are what you eat. Animals fed on the food produced with pesticides ends up in our food chain even if you are Lacto-vegetarian. Foot & Mouth comes to mind. Animals bread in cages. Just for our greed. Humans behind bars break them to breaking point so much so they end up rioting. The stressed animal are same. They will not have a healthy lifestyle ands ends up in our Tables.
3) Environment: Read up on what DDT did to our Earth. I am concerned whether others are or not.
4) GM: Then there is GM boy the unknown meddling with nature, even if there has been cross breeding to control diseases, to do this with artificially with fish genes and other methods equates to frankenstein food. It is not for me. You can consume all but I certainly am going to advocate Organic agriculture.

5) Future: The past has shown what the Future holds already if we go the way we are going now. Skin conditions diseases caused by DDT raised concern for me long time ago. Natural disaster is not disaster it makes our mother earth more prosperous.

Most rice crispies contain malt and barley, or are produced on a line which has made gluten products which causes cross contamination.

Cracking a coconut can be easy, there are three 'eyes' on the top, stick a screwdriver in one and hit gently with a hammer to reduce the pressure inside, then do the same to another eye and turn the whole thing over and rest on a glass until all the water drips out.

I don't bother peeling off the brown skin as I'm not fussed about the coconut butter being a pretty white, and besides the skin is extra fibre! As for the shell, I just squeeze a knife between shell and skin and squeeze it off.

As I mentioned i'm not to worried about my blender causing too much heat. The Vitamix is that fast that its done in an instant and it doesn't get too warm, plus, coconut is quite stable at higher temperaturs. I prefer this way than buying stuff that costs a lot more and I don't really know what processing it has had. I doubt the hygiene in the processing houses is as high as UK standards.

Good idea Shirl... I often to buy coconuts fresh... just find it a faff to break them open.

..and trying to get the coconut off the shell put me off for life. Unless there's a magic coconut scraper?

Re: person who uses a blender. I used to juice fruit n veg and when you read up on it it tells you that fast action, such as your blender, creates too much heat which in turn changes the make up of the substance. Just saying find out if your high powered blender is doing something detrimental to your coconut.

If you have a high powered blender you can make coconut butter which is better for you as it is the whole food which your body can digest better. Just buy a packet of coconut flakes or make your own from fresh coconut, then whizz it in the blender until you have a smooth butter. I eat it just on the spoon but you can put it on toast, in smoothies etc.

I usually buy four coconuts at 79p each and that makes a decent amount.

Doesn't blending in that way supposedly destroy a lot of the goodness? Not sure... But it is a lot cheaper!

The deal seems good though, I have been looking into coconut butter a lot recently as it is recommended in lots of paleo type recepies.

The way I see it is by making it myself I have control of the whole process. I have a Vitamix so the whole blending to make butter is done in probably a minute so there is minimal processing. I've seen documentaries on TV and coconut products being made are sometimes less sanitary than I would like.. and thats with the camera's on them so who knows what gets done to the coconut usually! Thats just my thoughts however and I do purchase coconut oil for frying as you can't use the butter. I've made my own but its a bit of a faff for the amount you get.
