I'm not sure the thread starter is a pro brexit type person with that image on his profile. However I bought some of these myself a while ago for similar money as I thought they might add a bit of bling to my wheels so I guess I'll have to use a cotton bud to smear in some copper grease. Didn't even think of that issue.

Can't vote hot with that name...

Its not his fault he shares his name with a that moron

If you do fit them, make sure you use plenty of copper grease to avoid them seizing due to cross-corrosion.

Also note that some coloured / anodised aluminium bleach with UV light, so they may well loose their colour too.

Personally, I'd say stick with the plastic ones which do the job, and look less bling too.

Me too. Very expensive mistake.

Same here, just had to pay £25 for new valves as these metal caps corrode and break the valves when you force then off. DONT FIT THEM!

this one?
Received this today and I’ll be returning immediately. It takes a lot of force to put onto the valve and doesn’t get a proper seal. Leaks air when trying to remove from the valve. Useless.

And guess what ! I've owned one as well and the only time I ever needed it the useless thing let me down , steer well clear of this waste of money
montgomery1913 h, 48 m ago

cheap and poor qulaity from soneone who has owned one.

Also owned one. Stopped working very quickly. Total rubbish. Would rather buy a lithium one from Amazon at this price.
These sound like a good idea, but in practice I've found them to be almost useless (I say almost because the air pump is handy for inflating push bike tyres with Schrader valves - but I could buy a pump to do that for about a fiver). From experience I'd recommend getting a set of slave leads (about £15 buys a good enough set) as a better alternative.
This is old tech, much better investing in a small lithium ion jump pack
I have been using a borrowed Halfords branded jump starter to start a 1.8l petrol car for a few months now and it has been faultless every time.

It looks identical to this Ring one at Screwfix which makes me think it is just a re-branded Ring product.

I know it is a lower spec to the one you have posted, but it may be worth investigating if Ring do a higher spec version.

Would these be suitable for something like cleaning a dusty PC?

I have used it to blow air into the fan to remove the accumulated dust. Avoid blowing on the motherboard as it can damage the capacitors.

Just bought the 18v drill today at £54.98. They had three attachments reduced as well. The sanding attachment, the hammer screwdriver and the oscillating multi tool. I'd have bought the jigsaw attachment if they had it, I'll try another branch near to me. It's canny for the price but the charger is really cheap and nasty.
Doesn't have a constant 'on' button which makes longer tasks tedious (or am I missing it somewhere?)
Bought this last week in St.Austell store, although many good features doesn't have half the torque of my old 12v one, even with predrilled holes have to put it on drill setting to get screws home, bit disappointed.
A Mast Stenalees
Could someone please kindly pm me the model number of the charger that comes with this drill?

I take a battery operated electric pump which is pretty small, then … I take a battery operated electric pump which is pretty small, then finish it with a hand pump to get it fully inflated. Takes two mins & the electric pump will fully deflate it for you too. Much less hassle.

I used to have one of them too be honest, but I found it rather slow, and also not very suitable for when we went to the beach with the customary inflatable dinghy and crocodile as the batteries would run out by then!, although I must admit the size was an advantage.

BTW the inflatable chairs I've also mentioned about being available get some very good reviews from fellow UKCampSite members.
