I got a popup just saying if you use the code SAVE10, you get £10 off a £75+ spend. Hope it helps.

I agree with Dekard, up it to 105 and I'd be very interested. Heat for the frame though.
Nice bike, would be nice if they had an option for 105 with some better wheels for a little more money.
Not that impressive. Good bike, don't get me wrong. But value wise not amazing. Generic carbon and Tiagra for £900 is average at best. There's been better deals this winter.
Edit:
I take it back. The frame is not generic. Quite nice in fact and I like the paint job.

I've had a pro carbon for 4 years now... under £1000 for carbon frame and full ultegra was too good to turn down.
Been a great bike but feel I've out grown the frame.
In terms of what is better between the two bikes then it's mostly personal preference with regards to what you feel is important, however, for value for money I think this genesis zero is better.

Planet x pro carbon is a £350 frame with £600 groupset.

This genesis is a £750 (pro team) frame with £250 groupset (which can be easily upgraded).

I've got the 2016 version, bought from Rutland last May, one of the last they had and with a promo it cost me £900. Great bike, love it!

These bikes size small compared to many bikes of similar frame size, due to the very compact frame design with a high "stack" and low "reach." My one is a 58cm, I usually pick 56cm frames, being 5'10" with short legs for my height.

I currently have a 28mm Continental Grand Sport Race up front, which size big, ~31mm wide. No problems with clearance, still using the default 25mm version in the back (not tried the 28mm).

Cube recalled their proprietary mudguards ~14 months ago, been lots of talk of releasing new version, but still no sign of them. Apparently, some have fitted Crud Catcher v3, not tried myself.

Plenty of scope to lose weight by replacing the default wheels and finishing kit, it you want to spend money in search of ~8Kg.

Yep Garbage and Olympian Nicola Cooke won a gold medal while riding one lol.

They are a bargain bike but now not using expensive carbon like the older Toray models. Just don’t let Halfords build it for you!
I am a beginner, currently using the Triban 500 SE. I am weakest in the climbs

I am now looking for a lighter bike and wonder which of the lot would suit best?

Racing is not the main concern - an endurance frame geometry would suit better. Signed up for 140 km events with hills.
Great bike. It will probably drop in march/april to £800 as i have the 2016 team carbon which is exactly the same but for the livery. I bought mine in May 2016 for £800. Its an even bigger bargain if you can purchase it on a cycle to work scheme. The wheels are too heavy but you will want to upgrade them soon as your firends drop you at the first sight of a climb. You will also save about 500grms if you swap for a set about 1700grams and this makes a huge different to performance. One word of warning though - Halford are complete muppets and really cannot set a bike up. I had to return on three occasions to get it remedied. I would recommend having a professional cycle shop tune the gearing as halfords just do not have the expertise. Having said all of that i would still purchase this again as it rides well and does not look put of place against more expensive bikes.

Which isn't a Boardman part, probably FSA. Mine squeaked a bit from new so I removed it (only a 10mm Allen key needed) popped s dab of grease on and a few thousand miles later it's still ok. Granted it shouldn't be my job to do that but the fundamental product is not garbage.
Giant offer lifetime warranty on frames. Boardman just one year on parts, upto 2 or 3 years for frames. Draw your own conclusions as to their faith in their own QA.

Heard mixed reviews from owners of Boardman bikes (at various range levels). YMMV though.
