Probably the similar bulbs aldi had late last year for about a fiver, ok as a std bulb but that's as far as they go...
Just about to buy some Bosch H4 bulbs from carparts4less for £1.41 each after this weekends 14% off - probably still will as these are unknown to me!

These are good, strong, white bulbs, but be aware, they don't last! …These are good, strong, white bulbs, but be aware, they don't last! Particularly if you use the auto headlights in your car, or have fixed ON headlights on a bike...Think one lasted about 2 months in my Mondeo over winter last year due to being on pretty much all the time I was driving, which given my job and distance, was a lot...

Good bright bulbs but one blew after 6 months light use, wont be buying again.

Not really, they don't hide the fact they don't last as long as normal bulbs, and bulbs are classed as a consumable anyway, so you can't ever guarantee how they will last...
Obviously, if it failed after 2 hours, you'd have a case, but otherwise....

What pills are you on? These are just standard auto bulbs. Not even performance ones that give you extra light. Nothing wrong with these bulbs as long you're fitting them correctly.

Always got mine from ebay and mine have always lasted about 2 years. So good bulbs from me, I don't expect them to last ages, they aren't made to they are made to emit more light. When driving around in the sticks I'd be happy to have to change them yearly for the extra light.

Almost 2 years fitted in my Golf Mk7 and they're still going strong
Good light output from these and a good price, so voted hot.

But... I too find they don't last long... usually 6-12 month max... and yes they were fitted carefully enough.
If it were just careless fitting, it's odd that OE bulbs fitted in the exact same way manage to last a lot longer.

I must've been very lucky then as I installed 2 x H1s and 2 H7s in my … I must've been very lucky then as I installed 2 x H1s and 2 H7s in my Mondeo two or three months short of four years ago and only had to change one about a month ago.I always have my lights switched to auto as well, so they are probably switched on a lot more than some peoples I guess.Found out my cornering lights take H1s, so bought another pair for those too a few weeks ago.



Mine are H1's, one of them blew approx 12-18 months after I fitted it (can't remember exact time) but the other was fine. Obviously I replaced the pair. Perhaps it would have gone on for another 2 years!
Since other people have also commented on their short lifespan I presumed it was common.
