I'm afraid not. I even looked at their website but couldn't find any mention of any sales at the moment, though they offer dozens of dictionary apps. Their google play profile also doesn't show any reductions in price for any apps. Agreed, would have loved it if it had that too, but you need to buy it separately. Only the Concise version of the dictionary also includes a thesaurus.

giltbrook

Thanks, I have been waiting for the price to drop, now purchased.

simonspeakeasy

Great find OP. I wish it had the thesaurus built in. Heated.

jameshvc

Great find, thanks. I was looking to buy this, but found the original price way too steep. This is a good price if you want a top-notch dictionary with etymology and audio pronunciations. Offline content takes up about 120MB. The only ads I see are links to other Mobisystems dictionaries at the bottom of the home page.

jonno12345

I mean, the main reason I mentioned it is if you wanted a tail bag, it's almost half price from buying one, and you have some magazines. If you don't want a tail bag, fair enough.

Bl1ng

Do you know what. I have had enough of this !! I voted cold for many good reasons I highlighted here. At the end of the day, people can vote Hot or Cold, it is up to them. At least I tried to explain the reason for my Cold vote whilst highlighting to people that may not need the free gift, they can get the same deal for FREE and also get access to lots of other digital magazines. Enjoy....

Bl1ng

You don't even need to go to your library ! Read this: Free Digital Magazines BTW, motorcycle parking is usually free as well ;)

cost more than £29 TO PARK over the year near my library.

Bl1ng

I did say that you don't get the free gift from the library ^^^ Also, you don't need a 'potential' £6 cashback (on £29) if you can get it for £0. You can't diss someone for voting cold. For me, and others who don't need the tail pack, they can get all the Ride digital magazines for free / £0 / no 'potential' cashback needed. For those that want the tail pack for £23/£29, it maybe a hot deal and they can vote it up if they like.

Agreed, Lidl/Aldi never seem to do national reductions now most sale stuff on HUKD are still sometimes reduced but different prices at my local stores

Before everyone rushes out to get one. It's store dependant and up to the manager what price it sells for. Not national.

Roku streaming stick + £38.39 instore @ Maplin (Oxford Road, MCR)

LocalLocalFound 5th MayFound 5th May
Went to Maplin to see what they had. Ended up buying a Roku streaming stick+ for less than half the price of everywhere else.
gfordbob

Problems with this deal is that stock is limited (last time I checked, this branch of Maplin only had one in) plus the store is closing down so if you have any problems with the stick months down the line it'll be more awkward to get it swapped out.

Musicrab

Don't know if this answers the questions but specs say "DTS Digital Surround™ pass through over HDMI®"

luckyshopper99

Heat! Love Roku products. Does anyone know if this supports 5.1 in the Netflix app? My other Roku devices (Roku 3 and 1st Streaming Stick) only do 2.0 for Netflix.

WessexUnderwater

I bought some bits in Maplin Cheltenham today and it was an additional 20% off the reduced prices. A lot of junk but it made rechargeable batteries 60% off.

This is a very good Roku and a very good price, I have a couple myself

Lucky.

It’s just pot luck really. They were 11 in stock but price started at £279. So I waited and kept checking in to make sure there still is stock. Yesterday there were 7 in stock and by evening only 2 left so I picked one up for £199.
