Only 3 GB RAM or did I read that wrong?

Correct. This is the slightly lower spec model to the 3 Pro, so you get 3GB RAM instead of 4, and the Apollo Lake processor is also a slightly lower spec. An OK review here:

gearopen.com/com…12/

From the crop of mainstream Chinese budget laptops, Chris G. at TechTablets (one of the better reviewers of Chinese tech out there) recommends the EZbook 3 Pro:

But it is looking a bit tatty and the screen goes off if knocked. These seem a bit cheaper than the current Chromebooks so am I going to get about the the functions and performance.I also like the quick start up of the Chromebooks and they seem safer for young kids to use. What is the start up time of these Win10 machines?

Can always get a 2nd hand chromebook for £80, just a thought.

just an update, the phone arrived and although the delivery has been slow, the phone itself is great! cannot fault it. In fact, i am really happy with the price i paid. it feels premium and there is no clutter from xiaomi. i think the camera is ordinary but still good for the price.
I bought mine from Xiaomi online store. Got a email saying it has been shipped. Awaiting delivery.

Excellent price, thanks OP.

Was thinking of pulling the trigger for $186 on Aliexpress, so $139 is a bargain, working out about £109 via PayPal.

THESE days it's not that hard to flash phones, you got to just choose good hardware and get rid of stock. I don't even keep stock ROM [bar warranty period] on branded phones as they come with tons of crap, or do not update after 2 years [BT hole, wifi hole]

I think if you pay insurance they accept that they are going to send it and you will get it eventually. However, if you don't pay insurance, which I didn't then they will just offer a partial refund, or pay extra. I think American Express will come good eventually, and I will get the refund but I don't think that I will ever receive the Tablet.

Therefore while I have ordered various goods from Gearbest, if I was ordering a good value Tablet I would now pay insurance.

Mine took ages to get delivered. Finally got it on Dec 21st after ordering it on 11th Nov. I paid extra for insurance but gearbest were shocking at customer service. Great when all goes well. If any problems, forget it. I hope you get sorted.
Just for the record ordered one of these, on GB Express Delivery, which should have arrived 7-12 Business Days on 25th November. Still has not arrived and Gear Best have offered me a $100 refund, which I think is approximately 50% value.

I paid by American Express and I am raising a disputed transaction with them.

I don't think that Gear Best ever tried to send it proper Express Delivery I think they just sent it untracked in the normal post. I don't have any evidence that they have actually posted it.

Buyer beware...
The price history is at:

notifyprice.com/Pro…265

You can sign up for price alerts, though the problem with these is that they are not immediate and the price can move down and then back up so fast that you might still miss it.

Also it might state that it is a flash sale with six hours to go, and then you come back to it having cancelled your previous order within the six hours and you discover that it has gone up. So if it is a good price never trust how many hours it has to go.
Ordered mine last week at £152 but still not dispatched yet..... I tried the code and it actually increased the price!

Return to home isnt that great, basically it just remembers the directions you move it and then does it in reverse, so if is windy it'll be affected by that. More expensive drones use GPS so this isnt an issue

As for altitude hold, it should be on straight out of the box I know mine was. Apparently there are two model revisions and the first one didnt have altitude hold but newer ones do

Wife's arrived last week, brilliant bargain. She has an ee SIM for calls and a 3 SIM for data....both working perfectly?! Yes, you do need to remove tape off the battery for it to charge. Dual SIM Quad-Core phone for 28 quid after cashback!
My phone doesn't work with any SIM card, I've tried O2, Three, and EE. None of them are recognised. It says 'NO SIM CARD' on the home screen and notification shade.

Thankfully it only cost thirty quid. I won't risk buying any more so called 'cheap' 'bargain priced' phones from China. That's for sure.

Almost certainly too expensive to post back to China for replacement so I'll stick it up on eBay as 'faulty - spares / repairs".

The phone doesn't take 4G sim cards, I imagine you'll have to downgrade to 3G for it to work? I've not tried any in mine yet, so I'm hoping this is the issue. Processor is a bit slow, but it's not a bad phone for Wi-Fi use.

Mine arrived last week, it's a great phone for the money, much better than I thought

I'll prefer 18 of these over a iPhone X then I wouldn't need to worry about breaking it so much

Only problem I notice is that it's hard to find a good case for this phone (within the UK) send me some links you know any

Mine arrived today and for 61p it's good value and far better than expected.
It took 17 days to arrive so not too long.
Logged in and added code at checkout, but it is coming back as “Error, this promotional code does not exist“. As a result it’s £1.46.

What’s wrong with phone light? Is this better?

iPhone flash is 15 lumen (according to this reddit.com/r/i…ut/)

This flashlight is 50-100 lumen.

Just randomly ordered one myself, no idea how long it'll take to get to the UK
Ordered with code 60p. Nice one thank you.
Mine arrived the other day and it is quite decent and I would say excellent for the price.
