Mine will be here tomorrow I think so I will let everyone know how well it fits etc.
bought these a while ago didnt fit to well
I don't bother with a 2.5 to 3.5 kit, I just use electrical tape to tape it in.

As there's no moving parts there's no vibration issues so you can even tape a few together then secure them to the side of the case.
I've bought these in the past, at about this price. I really can't see what all the fuss is about.
bomberman1
I've had these cheap ones before they look like their made from scrap metal

And its a Bad idea to install a hard drive with these as the vibration from the drive will resonate through the entire case

Not if you fit them right and make sure all the screws are used and done up tightly..... unless I'm just a PC God that is, 'cos mines NEVER made any noise over the usual ;)

It turned up today and is fitted. Watched my first blu-ray on it. Inception.

As this is a OEM part it comes with nothing. This means no sata cables.

As the description says it doesn't come with blu-ray playback software but I was able to play blu-rays using VLC and this link. The only blu-rays it won't play are ones that have BD+ protection. Mainly FOX films.

The drive is really quiet and does load films fast. Haven't tested burning as I don't have any blank discs, but I mainly got this for blu-ray playback and for that it works fine.

Here's an how-to for Ubuntu users: http://forum.pinguyos.com/Thread-Blu-Ray-Encrypted-Retail-Playback-in-VLC

The same with me . . but see that Ebuyer offers Same Item with free delivery at a similar price

How reliable is dual layer blue ray writing? Dual layer DVD writing is not IMO very reliable. If you are just wanting to keep a copy of video files why not just use a USB3 external drive? One terrabyte storage for about the same price.

Me too, that's why I get 'em to deliver it. It was the same with the recent Tesco offer on Badger Beer. Enough bottles and the savings easily outweigh any delivery charges.

Almost as nice as Wairau Cove often on offer for £4.99 (half price) @ Tesco. If you see it try it! Was on offer again recently. :)I'm a red wine drinker but when this is on offer I'm there!
This is by far a cut above Wairu Cove. Got through plenty of Wairu when it was in the tesco 3 for a tenner plus another 5% off the original price for six bottles making it under £3 a bottle. Yet to see Oyster Bay for less then a £5 so might have to get invloved in this. Costs around $25 dollars a bottle over in Oz. But as others have said Cloudy Bay is the daddy, have a bottle waiting for the missus to drop, so we both can enjoy from a gondoal deal a while ago.Besford that SB stil around in Aldi might have to try it?

Sorry, that should have been Asda (corrected now). It was the 2010. More fruit to it than many of the cheaper SBs and quite a grapefruit edge to it so quite dry without being excessively so. Saw a 2009 there at about £6 but haven't tried it.

Lovely drop, I normally pick it up across the channel for around £4 to £5, which obviously isn't a practical option for most, so have some heat
good stuff yes always worth paying a little more for quality, sadly £2.99 a bottle is the cut off point for most on here
£6 a bottle is worth it for this really nice wine. £5 delivery on top is a bit off a rip off though.

£10 off first wine order of £50 - XXH7F6 (not sure it still works but worth a try)

Highly recommend Makutu Bay, another Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand and on a par with this quality wise.

In reality a 1 tonne car hitting a plastic toddler seat, isn't going to offer massive protection...

Exactly. Why should we feel guilty about buying a 'cheap' car seat. I doubt if the super expensive seats provide any better protection. Surely better that a child is in a child seat than not at all. Isofix seems to be the preferred option, however, need to buy a newer car, and more expensive child seat to benefit.
So basically, sod off all you snooby gets who prefer to prove how wonderful you are by buying the most expensive items. If you feel safer doing so, good luck to you.

Great price, yes. Safe car seat? No. I pity any child whose parent buys this.
Cold.

Please elaborate. Your point is? I believe your thesis (albeit very short) is, cheap seats are p..h p..r. Are we not forgetting that it is the car seat belt that holds a child seat in place. Seems to me that seat belt is the strongest or weakest link here. All child seats tend to follow same basic design, ie. seat for child to sit in, child seat then restrained by seat belt.
