Offer changed to 26 piece toolkit which is poor quality in my opinion. Still 6 issues for £1.00 is still a good deal.

People actually do this stuff? lol
I don't ever vote cold on stuff, but people should never be paying to join a weight loss thing, ever.
Just because some people need help and encouragement to lose weight doesn't make it a bad thing. If everyone could lose weight without a group like this then these places wouldn't exist. Everyone has thier own issues and dealing with them takes different routes in life. I'm in my 30's and I've lost over 4st stone on thier program. I'd happily not pay and do it for free, but doesn't always work that way..
It does work that way, though. Slimmingworld has convinced you to pay money to lose weight, and to keep you there for a long time making you feel reliant on them otherwise you'll fail. It does NOT teach you a damn thing.
I'll teach you for free, if you want, and you won't spend a penny.
So come on then, give us all free lessons on how you became an expert on effective weight loss because I'm really intrigued in how much you can teach us all through the medium of text on a screen.
I have coached many people including bodybuilders to win shows. I started by helping normal people (not interested in anything other than losing weight) -- I myself started from being overweight and got into shape by learning, for free, no money spent. All learnt through text on a screen.
Don't get bitter and bitchy because you think paying to lose weight is normal.
Brilliant, great that worked for you. Even better if it worked for some other people. Shame that 1) you can't help everyone as there's not clones of you across the entire UK and 2) whatever your approach, it isn't going to work for everyone. That's the way of the world.
Anyhow, aside from the narky comments detracting from this post, my better half is a few pound away from losing 7 stone in a year by using Slimming World. Not once has exercise figured into their plan, they never go hungry and quite simply changed their diet and stick to it. Attending the weigh-ins simply keeps them on track, but they no longer need the classes (by the way, when you reach target, you no longer pay. You can get tons of Slimming World recipes on the website and on the web for nowt so no, they're not all about keeping paying for an eternity.
Don't be put off by the narky commenter, it may be the lifestyle change that works for you.

1. Being proud of losing weight is not 'ideal' - exercise is beneficial to everyone, and everyone has time to do it. Even though you don't NEED to exercise to lose weight, you should.

2. Everyone is not the same in terms of adherence, absolutely, but in terms of losing weight we are all the same.

3. Paying for weight loss groups/programs that don't teach you a thing, eg, give you a method to follow by eating based off POINTS is ridiculous. Period.

I am quite shocked you wrote that about "not once has exercise figured into their plan" as if thats a good thing, now I understand it more though, lazy people who don't want to exercise will happily spend money on crap like this.

You mentioned "POINTS" but you're thinking of Weight Watchers. I'm not on a diet I'm on a food optimising program. This is working for me, going weight lifting with my mate who's won countless shows, didn't. It's obvious you can do it for free, what else is the Internet for, we're not all stupid here, but nothing else personally worked for me except SW. I don't care paying £200/yr for something that works for me. Thanks for your reply though :)

I used to get Playstation Magazine through Hertfordshire libraries, which was great considering its £6 for a physical copy. Sadly they have removed it from their list now, but it is still a great service if there is a title for you.

So in theory I could set an account up then cancel and still get my 2 months worth? call me stupid now, but do you read via an app? Or the Internet on your phone?

8. Do I need to download an app to use Readly?
To read magazines on Readly you will need to download our app to your phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also read on your computer with our web browser version of Readly at: go.readly.com

Not sure if cancellation is instant or whether you have to put it in a calendar

I really hate having to say 'Ok Google'. Perhaps this provides an avenue to override it.

I mean if you can get a robot to answer your questions I'm sure you can get one to say 'Ok Poogle' for you.

Ordered thanks <3
Wow today i bought one from debenhams for £25 i wish i see this post earlier :(
Many thanks just ordered and what a steal. I usually pay £25 at boots so many thanks. Love Clinique, you don't have to use much and it makes your skin look flawless. You can get a free 5 day sample if you visit boots and ask, I tried a few before finding the best colour, as it's a lot of money to waste if you choice the wrong colour.

How good is this makeup? I've been using Rimmel and maybelline for years but never plucked up the courage to try Clinique

it's great, lasts all day and really good coverage. I've never seen it this cheap before. would definitely recommend buying it to try at this price.
from personal experience, clinique is good. i use the beyond perfecting foundation and it is the best i have ever used,it gives full coverage and Very natural finish.
my shade is out of stock though :(

Did anyone actually manage to get this deal? I enquired and like others got told it's no longer available.
VW 'sold' between 250-350 GTIs in 48 hours.
If you are still interested, VW will be releasing a new batch of these in July, so keep your eyes on it. They will be for September delivery.
Thanks Sunni, that's good news, was a bit annoyed I'd missed it. May I ask how you know this though?
If you PM me, I can give you some more details. Essentially it's the news coming from the dealers I've been in touch with.

I tried speaking to CVL and VW directly. The deal has expired and was only on for 1 day.

Looks like 3 doors so not good for me sadly. Good price though.

Scirocco is not available as 5dr!
Can't seem to find this deal when clicking on the link and local VW has no idea about it... any direct links or specific dealerships that I can contact?

Does this include insurance?

No you have to arrange and pay for your own insurance with a car lease.

You can cancel the magazine but you won't get your money back. That's the whole point of paying up front!!!
Also, any suggestions for a good accessories pack?

And any simple begginers user guide to using the machine?
Received my sewing machine today.

Now what do I need to do to cancel the magazine suscription?
You pay the years subscription in full and £5 postage for the machine and there's the £5.75 cash back but what I've done is posted the top cash back referral link so I get money from getting them to join, 4 had last time I looked, with any luck I'll get a few more and have the magazines and the machines for a lot less.
When is it safe to cancel the subscription? Just cancel the DD or need to inform Buy Subscriptions as well?

Hello,
Unfortunately at the time of ordering there is no way to say if you are in the first 51 as we have orders coming in via phone and web and this offer was very popular so we hit the limit very quickly. As per the Terms and Conditions we can offer you 3 free issues of Grazia Magazine.
Many Thanks
Told them to forget it. Would not use this company again nor recommend them. Really unhappy with their attitude and offer of compensation.
Glad at least one of us got the offer.

That's such a joke, what a rubbish company! They should have done it till the goody bags had all gone because surely it's false advertisement to have the heading 'receive this and that for free when buying this for £1' when in reality they had sold out pretty quickly...
I got an email saying a 'free gift' had been ordered for me so I'd be mega pi$$ed if they tell me I'm not getting anything. I know it was only £1 but that's not the point.

Hello,
Sorry to read this the offer was limited to the first 51 subscribers which was in the T&C's of the offer. I can ask our customer services team to send you a copy of these if wanted.
Many Thanks

Told the same thing. They obviously had no intention of sending them out and we're looking for our details for repeat subscriptions and data harvesting.
I don't understand how NOBODY has posted on here though. You'd think surely one person from this thread would have written something if they were one of the '51'? I'm pretty sure I was one of the first and all I got was an email saying that 'within 28 days' I would be getting the goody bag! This is not on is it? :(
Same and I told them that when I replied to the message on the PayPal dispute. Unfortunately I deleted my email stating it would arrive within 28 days.
Lx
Did you win your PayPal dispute if you don't mind me asking? Because I think everyone should since clearly none of these goodie bags are being sent. In my '28 days' email I didn't realise it said a 'free gift has been ordered for you' and this email was sent on 7th may. I wrote again last night with a screenshot of this email and also explained about this HotUKDeals thread and that no-one has received anything yet. Let's see what they get back to me with ;)

They haven't responded again. I very much doubt I'll get anywhere with it

Use to get these all the time and built up a fair big collection, use to love the freebies but since the dawn on the internet and things being so quick to appear online, i find reading this stuff now its old news though can see the benefits for those who don't use the net or look at loads of different movie sites as its all in one package.
Hardly breaking the bank though is it.
depends not all of us have good jobs, min wage where i live won't even leave you £5 at the end of the month. I haven't had a holiday in over 10yrs, i cant afford a car, i haven't bought any of family a Xmas or birthday present in over 10yrs and my family are if they don't get, they don't give either, i don't get to go the cinema which i love to do, i don't have a tv license but dont watch anyway, dont even use public transport, dont have the latest phone, gadgets, had to use food banks several times cuz wages today don't cover what we need. I don't smoke, drink or do drugs. I spent years in higher education and nothing local, can't afford to relocate, when can't even put a penny away for saving, so cant even save towards a pension. Lucky its Easter weekend and over at the parents to use the net. I don't see how life is ever gonna improve, personally i don't want to live all i do is work and go home as cant afford anything

Why are you even looking on this website then? You could copy and paste your comment on every single deal on here.

Oh no Really! I had to go and get more info but didn't get a Chance! Did u ask the store staff?
Yeah I asked and they said they didn't know anything about it and they even got out the next set of magazines from the back but wasn't on it. I tried the Hampton branch in peterborough thou so could try the other one.

Oh that's weird...maybe then the distribution ones are different and Instore different... why not join the gold club card like someone else mentioned in the above post...I myself am thinking of doing that. As the members for sure get the offers.
N show them the pic of the magazine as I'm not a member and I still got it...even others in my area did that's confirmed. I don't shop from them much so have no idea...Sorry :(

That ridiculous EU rule banning any kind of promotion deals on baby milk formulas in an attempt to encourage women to breast feed more tells you everything you need to know that is wrong with the EU

I've managed to thrown the confirmation away of when it was going to take the payment for the rest of the issues after the £5.
My £5 has been taken, if I cancel the direct debit now will I still get the other 4 issues sent to me or should I wait a bit longer?
If anyone does not mind looking at the confirmation saying when the next direct debit was to be collected that would e appreciated!

you can cancel right now, no problem

you have not signed any other contract
