Don't forget to get fleeced for food and drink on your way out as they don't allow you to take a packed lunch in (unless you sneak it in).

Well in all the time I've been there I don't think I've queued more than half an hour, and that was for the biggest rides. As for food, you can leave the park, have your food and go back in. Or like I do, leave the park, have a walk on the beach front and get some chips then go back! I honestly think Blackpool is one of the better theme parks as queuing times are less and you can leave the park and there's actually places to go nearby

All very good points and well made, including the "Blackpool does let itself down in some ways" comment.
We also live sort of just down the road (an hours drive away) and it is indeed great to take our grandkids there for days out a couple of times a year.

Hearing they’ve got rid of me has put me off returning as the big rollercoaster was a bit of a let down (apart from the view). It’s amazing that such an old ride as that could be so good - but was definitely the best ride I’ve been on. The rattling wood and feeling like you were about to be decapitated at every turn really made it!

Totally agree with you.

Redex doesnt do that, ZDDP additives supposedly can be poisonous to CAT's and DPF's (according to forum talk that is, and maybe some obscure info somewhere. Yes I get the irony that this is forum talk, but you have to take forum talk with a big pinch of salt.

I imagine it would have to be in large concentrations for it to do serious harm, some extra ZDDP being in your engine oil shouldn't even be reaching the Cat/DPF, well only in tiny amounts due to the tiny amount of oil being burnt.

I think the real reason for less ZDDP in today's modern engine oils is to do with cost, environmental impact and if your like me, maybe it's a bit too good for today's planned obsolescence agenda. Personally I wouldn't worry, the benefits out weigh the supposed risk. My family have used Extra lube ZX1 in 15+ vehicles, never had an issue with CATS. Used in Saab petrols, Mercedes Petrols, Subaru Petrols, Nissan Petrols, Renault Diesel, Citroen Diesel, VW Diesel, Kia Diesel etc etc.

And if you have an older diesel that didn't come with a DPF or an old petrol that is worth peanuts then you truly do not need to worry, in my opinion.
What's better than snake oil? CHEAP SNAKE OIL!
Same price in Wilko too I think.

I always buy this when it's on offer at Tesco. Some doubt it's benefits, …I always buy this when it's on offer at Tesco. Some doubt it's benefits, but I think it does help clean youre injectors and it is an upper cylinder lubricant. Probably not going to make an extreme difference, but for £2 it's worth it. If you want to make an extreme difference to a rough running older vehicle then Extra Lube ZX1 and other ZDDP additives really do make a difference (though it is supposedly harmful to catalytic converter/DPF but some motor oils have it in anyway , though in smaller quantities these days unless you buy "Classic" motor oil). But I haven't had any probs and it always makes my familys used cars and motorcycles run smoother over the years. My dad first bought it from QVC circa 1995. Also put abit in the power steering fluid, the radiator coolant, never had any issues.

So it cleans fuel system but knackers your 500 cat? Really worth the risk.?

I put that many hours into it, trying to turn over every stone to see if there was some good quality bioware gameplay there. There wasn't. A good 'deal' on this game would be if bioware paid you to play it, not the other way round, spending any money on this would be deemed 'cold' in my eyes. That was the implication, the clear implication, not that I was expecting bioware to pay me for better feedback you plebeian

Having loved the original trilogy, I'd say a 'hot' deal would be for bioware to pay you to play this hot garbage. Voted cold as spending any amount of money on a totally miserable time still equals a totally miserable time. It's Iike 1 x 0 = 0. Ignoring the bugs, you've still got the characters, the voice acting, the dialogue writing, storyline and ramifications of your decisions at such a laughably poor quality, all I can say is AVOID. There's so many better titles out at the moment to play.

Just the essentials, nothing fancy. There's a can of Budweiser (albeit 150ml) on there for 1p, so don't miss that

The game was a good idea but executed incredibly poorly, and a huge step backwards for the franchise. I wouldn't be surprised if they do what people are speculating and put the franchise on hold for a few years, then return to Shepherds Adventures in the Milky Way

Oh and they better remaster the trilogy now after this mess.
