I'm a big fan of the editors, saw them for the first time last year at glasto and twice since on the back of that one proformace. They are an amazing band and deffenintly worth it if you're local. :D voted hot imo
All Bristol Discounts, Offers and Sale - July 2019
ditto, Bristol-Dublin return is 4p for two adults and then 90-odd quid taxes and fees? I think the ASA might be interested in Ryanair's claims......
Result, my Father works away in Ireland all summer, so have just booked my family of 5 a day trip to Dublin, to meet up for 10 pence for all of us!!!! Bargain!!!! Voted Hot!!!
How to get to Bristol from Newcastle ??
But how much is it to come back? Unless you're emigrating, its not that great
There's loads of free flights available. I say free, they seem to charge 2p for the flight! It's coming back that I can't find for free! Still, one way for 2p aint bad ;-) Voted HOT!
0) Thank you for not just flaming. Reasoned responses are always the most valuable in a debate. 1) You're right. But they won't keep flying empty planes if all their customers have gone elsewhere. 2) I do. I use a laptop (which is designed to use as little energy as possible) and a desktop that I turn off every night. Energy saving preferences on both machines are set to turn the displays off within minutes of non-use, and automatically sleep the machine within 15 minutes of non-use. 3) Exactly. And, as I said before, I don't care why they're doing it. Just so long as they're doing it. They'll only keep doing it as long as we are willing to pay extra for 'green' goods. 4) Yes. That is a sad fact. But that doesn't mitigate our responsibility. As I say. I'm not trying to preach - I have no right. I'm just trying to provoke thoughts and discussion.
1) They wont lay on extra flights..it will purely fill up the flights that were already scheduled (so you are only fuelling for your own weight). 2) You should turn off your PC, its damaging the environment 3) I agree, most "eco" companies are in it just for extra profit. It is the new way to make big money, as people are willing to pay extra for "green" goods. 4) Did you know that if we cut our CO2 emissions to our target (I think it is something like 30% by 2020 ?) ..it is offset by the increase in Chinas C02 in a MONTH. :w00t:
Talk about flamebait: I know this is probably going to annoy a hell of a lot of people, so I apologise in advance. But, I think someone needs to chime in with the eco-view on this. Flying, generally, is one of the worse things you can do in environmental-damage terms. Cheap flights mean that more people will be doing it more often - meaning more damage. Now I know this is 'HotUKDeals' and, in pure deal terms, this is a scorcher (well done OP). But in general terms, this is anything but. I don't want to get all ranty with you guys. You're a good bunch of people. But as consumers we tread a very fine line with our 'hot deals' and ultimately where we put our money makes a real difference. I know it's all that load of rubbish about 'if we all make small changes, we can make a real difference' and it may seem very tenuous and difficult to relate to how you live your life, but it is very true. These companies only sell these 'damaging' products because we keep buying them. In this case, it means more planes in the sky sending their carbon directly in to the atmosphere. But this applies to other dirt-cheap items too. For eample, in the case of clothing (which is top in my mind due to the very interesting BBC 3 reality-docu-drama thing 'Blood, Sweat and T-Shirts' programme), paying £5 for a jumper in Primark or similar means more Indian (and other) dudes earning barely the minimum they need to survive. I look at all these companies employing these people and flying these planes and I've come to the conclusion it's not their fault. The blame lies squarely at our feet for using these services. If we didn't, and chose a more sustainable alternative product, they would have to be replaced by services that did do less damage. Take, for example, someone like Marks & Spencer. They've got a massive campaign going right now touting their green credentials. But don't think for one moment that the companies who are supporting these so-called 'green initiatives' are doing so because they genuinely care for the environment. They've all just realised the marketing value in looking good and being seen to 'care'. Even though this is the case, the bottom line is: what the hell. So long as they're making a change. I don't care why they're doing it, just so long as they are doing it. Companies can, will, and have to change their ways. We can't keep on doing what we're doing - it's just not sustainable. But it is down to us to put our money where our mouth is because it truly, genuinely makes a difference. All I ask is that you good people cast a thought to the wider impact and consequences when you get caught up in the thrill of the next HotUKDeal. Cheers all. Let the flaming commence ;-)
Great deals! we have just come back from the last Ryanair deal, went from Bristol to Dinard and stayed in St Malo, going to Dublin or Bergerac next, remember to do online check-in free and no queuing, just go to the front as you get free priority passes, they also let you on the plane before everyone else and you can choose which seat you would like. Only thing is we got charged £8 Debit card fee (but the whole lot only came to £8.08!)
What week did you find this for out of curiosity??
Good price, other teams in the sale to.
thanks, its just a shame that nobody else on this website seems to appreciate rugby deals! still, at least i've helped somebody save a few quid ;)
Great spot - perfect for the OH. Heat & rep added. New shirt out next season - I guess that explains the price, still a great price!
Nice prices.... voted hot...
I totally agree with you
Jesus H Christ! Someone asked why people are voting cold and I said it was because there were no tickets left. BTW, I didn't even vote!
so sorry - perhaps we should check after receiving notification before posting to ensure that all venues are available! get a life! or maybe you'll find that you dont get told at all cos people cant be bothered when all you get is critism! If theres none left then use the EXPIRED button!! or is that too obvious!
Because there's no tickets available at any venue.
why is this neg??
wish I still lived there, used to love going to Bristol Zoo, I can remember the Polar bears!

Thanks. Got some Bristol tickets. Love Friendly Fires too! To find out the kind of music this is, download/buy the new "Kitsune Maison Compilation 5" CD. Great bands, and has a Friendly Fires song on there too!
My first freebie - thanks!! Should be a good night and just down the road!
Get a free down load of Black Kids EP here ... http://blackkidsmusic.com/
Heat and rep added - looking forward to this - Black Kids and Friendly Fires are both in this weeks NME... Black Kids "The worlds biggest buzz band may well be about to justify the hype" Friendly Fires "From a hardcore lineage the future of house is born" Looking forward to seeing them both for free!
didn't get as good a price as you :-( Bristol - Nice return £160 for 2 adults 2 hold bags could have saved £40 by choosing a different outward flight but would have ended up costing more anyway :| now to find some cheap holiday insurance... Churchill had a great offer on last year
Hm I read this and clearly didn't compute what the title said lol For those just waking up or in stupid mode like I was this morning: 2008 flights
That's me booked my summer flights for next year. 3 Adults 1 child from Glasgow to Malaga on 18th June 2008 for 1 week for £230 in total. :)
cant say id get any as im in kent an 250 miles away... but thanks for the tip..
Only thought I would mention it was still available. I wasn't bothered about the hot factor. I know it ain't deal of the century ( unless you love the taste of Phillidelphia cheese and live near the Gloucester road in Bristol ) but ther's is no need to rub my small fry face in it! T.P.
Still loving the hot deals tho, it's good karma to use a deal then remember to post a good deal when you see one. T.P
I doubt many people would go out of their way to go to somerfield just to get a packet of cheese which is on a run of the mill supermarket offer, thats prob why its being voted cold as its nothing spectacular
this deal is still on so should be hotter again. T.P.
seems like a good idea - unfortunately I live nowhere near!! Voted hot though.
