one of the ticketing companies olympic used went bankrupt during the summer, the flights were guaranteed with the airlines but from what i read a number of changes last minute were made so that may have been the case that the ticketers told olympic they had been sent when they hadnt
My niece went to Zante with Olympic in the Summer. She booked months in advance and still had not received tickets 3 days before take off. They kept lying and saying they had posted them to her. They also kept telling her that she was flying with different airlines. In the end she had to collect the tickets at the airport. It was very stressful for her ( first time holidaying on her own) and also her mum who was worrying that they would be abandoned at the airport with no where to go. When they arrived at the airport there were lots of other unhappy Olympic customers who had also been lied to. Luckily though their tickets were there for them but with a completely different airline to the one they had been told. Not the kind of situation you expect when you have booked months in advance.
Booked a holiday with Olympic last Tuesday and flew out on the Wednesday, getting back today. Like anything it is what you pay for it! Went to Kos for a week for £450 for 3 of us, self catering, but the place had its own pool. Had two boys 7 and 10 and it was all good for them. Spent the days out on trips etc so wasn't fussed about all inclusive as the food we bought out was reasonable and really nice where we ate!! Didn't have any trouble with Olympic myself, but as opposed to booking a general cheap deal, you do get access to a rep that can help with any questions, and organises your transfers and excursions if you wish!! (If you get a good one!!)
