I've gone through the airport multiple times just fine with my wallet ninja. I completely forget it's in there until I come to use it, and it's excellent. I've used the little blade on it (the "letter opener" on the £1 version) to cut both paper and plastics and it works really well

Heat added, lovely Leah :)

That’s a shame. I’m glad they aren’t letting people on flights with them though to be honest (y)

Good thing the internets always right. Shame mine got confiscated last year.

Just picked one up from Ryman’s at St. Paul’s. 4 left in store. Product looks good, just worried about the damage it will do to my wallet :)

This is avowedly not how it works. Had I not installed the app, I'd be about 2 grand up over recent years, and contentedly none the wiser about all the 'bargains' I missed. ~A fellow member of the 'Ooh, look, pliers/ladders/barbecues/screwdrivers/presents/etc. I had no intention of buying club.

Yes. Sorry everyone. It seems cannot add to cart even though website says limited stock available at my local store. Don't understand B&Q website. Does it mean I can get one at this price only if I walk in my local B&Q store?

First I ordered a pair of Ladders from B&Q and now im looking at Pliers... I thought this site was supposed to save me money (ninja)

Craft beer tasting with five beers plus cheese platter for two Half price

Fair enough, probably very much dependent on timing and staff, as you say. I'd prefer not to roll the dice on it, especially for a gift.

I bought this for my partners birthday this time last year and he had a great time. He’s run pubs and worked in breweries the past 6 years so has quite good beer knowledge but still enjoyed it and learnt some new things. They got a separate table away from the bar and a member of staff came over with the tasters and food, as she knew about his experience too she gave them different beers to what you’re meant to get, so be nice and they’ll be nice back :) Overall it was worth it for the price for the day out, I think anyone with a bad experience might of gone on a busy day/had unhappy bar staff?

5 per person

Yep, the image is totally misleading.

Was considering getting this for Father’s Day but then read a few reviews that put me off. Basically you just get your beers at the bar (no special treatment) so you’ll be getting served along with all the other punters and it’s a supermarket cheese platter for afters.

I've always seen this watch at this price, was gonna get it but the design isn't for me I prefer the W-800H

It has the girth and size of a G-SHOCK but isn't a G-SHOCK Its a bit fugly but the Vibration alarm is a good feature, should be standard on most watches

My watch of choice at the moment . been through a couple of them. The vibration as alarm has been excellent as my hearing can let me down . not the most attractive watch , normally up to £30

same price at Argos as well http://www.argos.co.uk/product/9157789

One thing I can say about the Lidl drills etc, their power tools batteries are interchangeable. Always searching for them perfect drill bits though!!

Far better off with the Bosch deal that was posted recently. These drills aren't great at all. Nor are they value for money. Plus, these batteries don't have a large variety of compatibility.

My Makita drill is ten years old and is used occasionally does the job very happy the drill bits though may as well be made of chocolate useless

If you just want a power drill for DIY use, and not planning on adding to your cordless collection, then yes, they are ok. As has been mentioned though, the LXT range starts at only a little more, and adding other LXT tools is cheap enough once you have a battery and charger.

So what is the general opinion? Good drill for a decent price or overpriced old stock that is pretty much a pile of outdated tosh??!

This website says it was "a starter, main and desert deal at £13.75. There are three starters, a range of mains and two desserts featured in the deal's set menu." in 2014... rampant inflation since then! Maybe it will be Papa Johns and ice cream instead ! http://www.berkeley-scott.co.uk/pizzaexpress-fathers-day-offer-announced/

Yeah that would make sense if it was say 14.95 2 course 16.95 three course rather than the usual 4 5 quid price. Will have to see a full menu! I suspect not though ...

Checked my inbox. Last year father-s day deal was 11.95 but cannot see menu. Maybe I ordered dessert extra...

You might be able to pay extra for a third course like you can on the usual set menus - ask when you go?

Fathers Day Present 4hr Driving Experience From Ford - Trafford Centre £58 @ Wowcher
This looks amazing, and although i'm dad, i've treated myself :-)

I suspect it's people that don't like Ford (there's loads on HUKD) and people who don't like Wowcher either. I guess it's an objective deal too, in that some may be far more reluctant to spend any money at all on a driving experience, even if strictly speaking it's a saving on the usual price. Or maybe people don't like dads.

A pedantic crowd I see :-). I suppose what i was meant to say was what constitutes a cold deal and a hot deal?

That would be all the people voting cold.

Out of curiosity, why would this be marked cold?

YES its absolutely about getting cool photos and videos, that pretty much one of the main selling points, but the driving experience looks absolutely amazing. Out of curiosity Beard, when did you last drive on two wheels? :-)

When it was on this offer for Fathers Day it was £9 per kg and its now on offer from £15 a kg to £10 a kg until the 19th so based on that, I wouldn't of thought they would be dropping it any lower for the bank holiday and at a £1 more its not that bad an offer

Anyone know if Morrisons are going to be doing anything similar to this for the Bank Holiday? Bought two 'complete' blocks last time they did it for the Rib Eye and Sous Vide'd them. Ate one block at a BBQ and the second we have been eating steak every few weeks but starting to get a bit low so want to do some more and fill up the freezer again.

This offer finished today so you won't get it at this price. You might get some reduced to clear ones though as if they have already been packed they should be reduced from the offer price, assuming the date is the same day you are in. Had one last night and was very nice.

Just had or steaks from Morrisons. Surprisingly good for the price we paid. I'll be going back tomorrow for more for the bbq. cheers OP , heat added.

I gifted my dad couple of polos bought from outlet in Bicester few years ago and they are still good. Very good quality and colours don’t come off quickly like polo Ralph Lauren’s ones do. Highly recommend them on sale. You’ll start wearing polo tops again. Perfect for summer or golf or as smart casual to work

lol brilliant :)

Word of caution!!!!! I bought 2 items in the last 30 mins and paid using my PayPal account within HB website checkout. I then received the standard Paypal emails regarding the transaction as well as another one saying "You've activated One Touch" Now, I did not activate anything ( one touch). I proceeded to login to my PayPal account but was immediately prompted to change my password as the account had suspicious activity. I've changed my password and reported this to Paypal. I am now waiting for their reply. As a result, I am now very suspicious of this HB website. Please be vigilant.
