Air China? I'd rather hitchhike!

OMG omega flights no way, once bitten twice shy, bought tickets from them, they changed dates without notice and because couldn't fly on those dates asked them to change flights or refund, they took almost a week before I had to get refund and that took them over a month. Hope you guys have good experience

You what? They have sooo much negativity attached to them, it's incredible people still buy through them.

Not the best website to book your flights...Reviews are not very good for this website. Better to book through another website that does price match and then get that flight price matched with this

sad face Sorry, the page you are looking for no longer exists. Here are a few sites you might like to visit

Looking for a distraction from the chilly British winter? Why not plan your 2017 getaway to Australia? And for one day only, our latest Flash SALE will help you jet off to the land Down Under, to explore the cosmopolitan hub of Melbourne. This incredible deal ends at 6pm tonight and, with just 30 seats available, you'll need to be quick – pick up the phone now to book this exclusive offer. Today you can book an Economy Class flight from London Heathrow to Melbourne with Royal Brunei Airlines for just £449pp. That’s an amazing saving of £277pp! With such fantastic savings on offer, you'll have change leftover to hire a car along the Great Ocean Road, enjoy a meal on the Southbank or catch a show at Arts Centre Melbourne – to name a few. But don’t hang around; this deal ends at 6pm tonight, Tuesday, 8th November, 2016. Travel dates: 20 Feb – 30 Mar; 24 Apr – 30 Jun 2017

No further info. I pushed and couldn't get any more at the time. From my research Royal Brunei do 2 stops. Dubai and Brunei. Each leg is around 7 hours. No alcohol on the flights if that is of interest.

I rung them earlier before I posted this deal and they wouldn't give me details of the airline or dates. They said, I quote "we don't know until a few minutes before the deal goes live". Did they give you any more details? May be worth checking again tomorrow to see if it's accurate.

I rang them and they said it was with Royal Brunei. They said there was a discount on adult tickets only not children's.

Not as cheap as the £340ish flights to Adelaide with Qatar I posted a few days ago (not sure if expired). Personally I wouldn't say this is particularly cheap for Oz given the time of year if the time frame is correct and it is only for flights 14. Apr. 2016 - 13. Jun. 2016??

Thanks good site looking to book a trip to oz :)

Nicely cut and paste from holiday pirates :)

Very cheap

Unbelievable amount of content in the description and a fantastic deal - well done op!

To those concerned about legroom in economy, it's worthwhile checking out sites like to check legroom stats. I flew LHR to SYD earlier this year with Etihad, who were alright. I'm a lanky 6'4" and was lucky to get bulkhead seats on 3 of the 4 flights- I'd have been pretty uncomfortable otherwise.

Yes I got caught out with this last year when I unexpectedly went to Oz when staying in NZ. Virgin Australia charged me $50 to do a visa at the airport (free if you do it yourself) and watch out for channel 7 doing the Border Control programme.

We've flown economy as a family four times - the first was with an 18 month and 4 year old, I wouldn't recommend that. But the other flights were fine - as soon as the kids were old enough to be engrossed by the TV screens we just let them vegetate for 24 hours. We've flown Singapore, Emirates, BA and Etihad and honestly there's not much to choose between them IMO. Most recent was Etihad (last month), the entertainment system on the A380 was superb by economy class standards (and not much worse on the other legs). It's slightly better to break the flight in Dubai / Abu Dhabi than Singapore because it makes for two more equal halves of the journey, changing at Singapore on the way back and realising you've still got 3/4 of the flight time to go was a bit depressing. Don't forget to get an e-Visa (free, apply online) before you leave, the airline doesn't usually remind you.

I'm packing a multiple carriers/airports is out. China Southern don't charge extra for carrying bikes - so I guess £375 with no excess charges is worth the money. Flight duration isn't too bad either. I just wish the international airfare pricing matched the European system - where one way flights are the same price as the outbound flights on a return airfare.

I think, London - Perth June 27 - May 6 is half term.

Avoid Air China at all cost, low price but: 1) Extremely rude staff. Typical Chinese you see in any restaurant. 2) Horrible food/ the worst of any airlines 3) Consistent Delay on way-out and way-in, delayed over 32hrs, compensation £50. Wow!!! 4) Small seat, no legroom even for a small guy! It is always the cheapest in any route to Asia (Thailand, Philippines, Lao, Vietnam, Hongkong, Malaysia.....). They are cheap for a reason. I went through hell with them, and so did our friends, and we learnt big lesson. You better pay £150 extra to fly with Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines...but it is well worth it. Trust me. You ll regret it in the end, pinching yourself "Why did i not spend £150 extra!!!"

I haven't done much experimenting on the uk site, but I've booked twice using the NZ site, and not had any problems. The only possible difference, might be foreign exchange fees on the payment card, but if you have one of those cards that don't charge for foreign exchange, and give the perfect exchange rate, it'll be fine.

tried to us the site and the same flights are £1500 each :-(

Glad some of you have been able to take advantage of this. £518 to Auckland and £579 to Sydney in December is even better than the £656 I paid for Wellington and Sydney. Might see some of you on the plane! Have a great time to everyone who has booked :o)

It seems as though there isn't as much availability for Auckland, although I did find this....

Hi All.. I'm having problems getting these fares, anyone able to confirm if they are still available.? would like December in Auckland.. for 3 weeks. Thanks

There's no way anyone could see all Singapore has to offer in a day - not even merely the touristy stuff - it just can't be done. I agree about HK though - equally full of history, culture and amazing sights to see and experience. Perhaps, and it would not be your fault, your judgement of Singapore may be biased due to a realised expectation of a white-washed, clinically clean, culture-less, futuristic, perfectly running, harmonious society that the ruling Lee family have been so desperate to portray to the world for the past 40 odd years. This is entirely fictional, of course. Peel back the layers just a little bit and you'll find a land rich in culture with a fascinating, vibrant and turbulent history (though of course the Lee regime try their darnedest to eradicate most and manipulate the rest of that), that equals and even surpasses HK in many aspects. It's hard though, to open a book that's been so tightly glued shut, after having a good few pages torn out.

We done all the sightseeing in a day, rather dull compared to Hong Kong- where I'd just been! I wouldn't recommend anyone go !

alasdair67 Always wanted to go to Singapore. To be able to see Dubai and Melbourne, too, is an added bonus. Hot! Been to Singapore for a day ( stopover ) - not a lot to see/do! Your not missing much. Prob not really been !...4 of us Booked Emirates for the Singapore F1 this Sept £565 from Manchester to Sing (via Dubai - 3 hr stopover way out, 1.5 hr on way back !) cheap as chips :-)

the prices for Jan are usually high because people are still travelling back after Christmas. Feb is better, but really you need to know what is your price, ie the max price you're prepared to pay then buy anything under or near that. the problem with hunting rock bottom flights is people put off securing a deal thinking that prices will go down further - with the energy markets being as erratic as they are people have been encouraged to fix their energy bills, i've just got mine fixed for 2 years. do the same for flights! book now! <-- scan for the whole month not just a date in Feb.

Thanks for the reply. I think its resolved now :)

Give them an email with your flight info, your name (as on ticket) your last 4 digits of your card number and the approx time you ordered and state you haven't received you conformation but payment has been taken to

I booked a flight with airasia 2 days ago. The website timed out when booking, and I have recieved no email confirmation, though the money has gone out of my credit card account. Can I still arrive at the airport with my passport, and hopefully they should have the details already right? What else do I need? I know most airlines give a booking number which I didn't receive due to the timing out, but is it essential? I've tried ringing the helpline but its in a call centre in malaysia and the line is terrible and I was unable to hear a thing due to echoes. Anyone know what I should do, or can tell me what they took with them when checking in?

Simply book a flight that arrives in Oz late-afternoon. By the time you get where you're going, it'll be early evening. At this point you're completely knackered - so go to bed. Wake up 12 hours later in the morning, and voila ! You're now in sync, and nicely refreshed after your 12 hour marathon sleep.
